通过理论讲授与实践训练,使学生更深入地观察英语的性能,能够富有逻辑性地、艺术性地、策略性地、流利地表达自己的观点,提升学生语言应用能力。

(二)课程任务通过理论教学和实践教学,使学生具备以下知识和能力:1. 英语演讲与口才是一门语言类基础技能训练拓展课,重在培养和提高学生英语思辨与英语语言交际的能力。

2. 本课程主要从培养学生口语表达能力的角度出发,从语音、语调等口语表达的基础知识开始,逐步介绍口语表达的基本技巧。

3. 围绕演讲口才、辩论口才的技巧和战术准备等进行一系列的训练,不断提升学生在公众场合用英语表达自我的自信,使演讲最终能达到言之有物、言之有理、条理清晰、妙趣横生的效果。
