英语论文范文As an author of Baidu Wenku document, I am going to provide you with a sample English thesis to help you understand the structure and content of a well-written academic paper.Title: Sample English ThesisIn today's globalized world, the ability to communicate effectively in English has become increasingly important. As a result, many students are required to write English theses as part of their academic studies. In this sample English thesis, we will explore the key components of a successful thesis and provide you with a clear example of how to structure and write your own paper.IntroductionThe introduction of your English thesis should provide an overview of the topic you will be discussing and the purpose of your paper. It should also include a clear thesis statement that outlines the main argument or research question you will be addressing. For example, if your thesis is about the impact of technology on English language learning, your introduction should provide background information on this topic and clearly state your research question or hypothesis.Literature ReviewThe literature review section of your thesis should provide a comprehensive overview of the existing research and scholarship related to your topic. This will involve summarizing and analyzing the key findings and arguments of previous studies, as well as identifying any gaps or limitations in the current literature. For instance, if your thesis is about the effectiveness of different language learning methods, your literature review should discuss the various approaches that have been studied and highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each.MethodologyIn the methodology section of your thesis, you should outline the research methods and techniques you used to collect and analyze your data. This may include details on your sample size, data collection tools, and data analysis procedures. For example, if your thesis involves conducting a survey of English language learners, you should explain how you designed and administered the survey, as well as how you analyzed the results.ResultsThe results section of your thesis should present the findings of your research in a clear and organized manner. This may involve using tables, graphs, or other visual aids to help illustrate your key findings. For instance, if your thesis is about the impact of a specific language learning app on students' vocabulary acquisition, you could use a table to compare the pre- and post-test scores of participants who used the app with those who did not.DiscussionIn the discussion section of your thesis, you should interpret and analyze your results in relation to your research question or hypothesis. This may involve comparing your findings with the existing literature, identifying any implications or applications of your research, and discussing any limitations or future research directions. For example, if your thesis found that the language learning app had a significant impact on vocabulary acquisition, you could discuss the potential implications of these findings for language teaching and learning.ConclusionIn the conclusion of your English thesis, you should summarize the main findings and arguments of your paper and restate your thesisstatement. You should also briefly discuss the broader significance of your research and suggest any potential avenues for future study. For example, if your thesis is about the use of technology in language learning, you could conclude by emphasizing the importance of integrating technology into language education and suggesting areas for further research in this field. In conclusion, writing a successful English thesis requires careful planning, thorough research, and clear and concise writing. By following the structure and example provided in this sample thesis, you can ensure that your own paper is well-organized, well-supported, and effectively communicates your research findings. 2014考研英语二作文
2014考研英语二作文1) describe the drawing briefly,。
2) explain its intended meaning, and。
3) give your comments.范文:The cartoon depicts a scene where a boy is sitting in front of a computer with a sad expression on his face, while his father is standing behind him, looking at the computer screen with a surprised expression. The caption reads “The computer is not the only teacher”.The intended meaning of this cartoon is to warn parents that relying solely on technology to educate their children is not enough. In recent years, with the development of technology, many parents have turned to online courses and educational software to supplement or even replacetraditional teaching methods. However, this cartoonsuggests that such an approach may not be effective, as it neglects the importance of human interaction and guidancein the learning process. In my opinion, while technology can certainly be auseful tool for learning, it should not be seen as a substitute for human teachers. Teachers play a crucial role in not only imparting knowledge but also inspiring students, fostering critical thinking skills, and providing emotional support. These are all things that technology cannot replicate. Therefore, parents should be cautious about relying too heavily on technology and should instead prioritize finding high-quality, well-trained teachers for their children. In conclusion, this cartoon serves as a timely reminder that technology should be used as a supplement, not a replacement, for traditional teaching methods. As we continue to integrate technology into education, we mustnot forget the vital role that human teachers play in shaping the minds and hearts of our children.。

Title: Embracing Challenges: A Path to Personal Growth。
In today's dynamic world, challenges are inevitable. They come in various forms, testing our resilience and determination. While some may perceive challenges as obstacles, I firmly believe they are opportunities for personal growth and development.Firstly, confronting challenges cultivates resilience. When faced with adversity, individuals have two choices: to succumb or to stand tall. Those who choose the latter develop resilience, the ability to bounce back fromsetbacks stronger than before. This resilience is a crucialtrait in navigating life's uncertainties and achieving success.Secondly, challenges foster innovation and creativity. In the face of obstacles, individuals are compelled tothink outside the box and explore unconventional solutions. This process of innovation not only helps in overcoming immediate challenges but also drives progress and advancement in various fields. Moreover, challenges provide invaluable learning experiences. Through overcoming obstacles, individuals acquire new skills, knowledge, and perspectives. These experiences not only enhance personal development but also contribute to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.Furthermore, embracing challenges builds character and fosters personal growth. It is through overcomingdifficulties that individuals discover their strengths, weaknesses, and true potential. Each challenge conquered becomes a stepping stone towards self-improvement andpersonal fulfillment. However, it is essential to acknowledge that embracing challenges is not without its difficulties. Fear of failure, self-doubt, and external pressure can often deterindividuals from taking risks and stepping out of their comfort zones. Yet, it is precisely during these moments of uncertainty that the most significant opportunities for growth arise. In conclusion, challenges are an integral part oflife's journey. Rather than avoiding or fearing them, we should embrace them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Through resilience, innovation, and learning, we can transform challenges into catalysts for personal development and success. As we navigate through life's ups and downs, let us remember that it is in the face of adversity that we truly shine.---。

(SI units are strongly encouraged.) English units may be used as secondary units (in parentheses). This applies to papers in data storage. For example, write ―15 Gb/cm2 (100 Gb/in2).‖ An exception is when English units are used as identifiers in trade, such as ―3½ in disk drive.‖ Avoid combining SI and CGS units, such as current in amperes and magnetic field in oersteds. This often leads to confusion because equations do not balance dimensionally. If you must use mixed units, clearly state the units for each quantity in an equation. The SI unit for magnetic field strength H is A/m. However, if you wish to use units of T, either refer to magnetic flux density B or magnetic field strength symbolized as µ0H. Use the center dot to separate compound units, e.g., ―A·m2.‖V.H ELPFUL H INTSA.Figures and TablesBecause the final formatting of your paper is limited in scale, you need to position figures and tables at the top andPreparation of Papers for International Journal of Engineering Research and Management(IJERM) First Author Name, Second Author Name, Third Author Namebottom of each column. If your figure has two parts, include the labels ―(a)‖ and ―(b)‖ as part of the artwork. Please verify that the figures and tables you mention in the text actually exist. Do not put borders around the outside of your figures. Use the abbreviation ―Fig.‖ even at the beginning of a sentence. Do not abbreviate ―Table.‖ Tables are numbered with Roman numerals.Include a note with your final paper indicating that you request color printing. Do not use color unless it is necessary for the proper interpretation of your figures. There is an additional charge for color printing.Figure axis labels are often a source of confusion. Use words rather than symbols. As an example, write the quantity ―Magnetization,‖ or ―Magnetization M,‖ not just ―M.‖ Put units in parentheses. Do not label axes only with units. As in Fig. 1, for example, write ―Magnetization (A/m)‖ or ―Magnetization (A⋅m-1),‖ not just ―A/m.‖ Do not label axes with a ratio of quantities and units. For example, write ―Temperature (K),‖ not ―Temperature/K.‖Multipliers can be especially confusing. Write ―Magnetization (kA/m)‖ or ―Magnetization (103A/m).‖ Do not write ―Magnetization (A/m) ⨯1000‖ because the reader would not know whether the top axis label in Fig. 1 meant 16000 A/m or 0.016 A/m. Figure labels should be legible, approximately 8 to 12 point type.B.ReferencesNumber citations consecutively in square brackets [1]. The sentence punctuation follows the brackets [2]. Multiple references [2], [3] are each numbered with separate brackets [1]–[3]. When citing a section in a book, please give the relevant page numbers [2]. In sentences, refer simply to the reference number, as in [3]. Do not use ―Ref. [3]‖ or ―reference [3]‖ except at the beginning of a sentence: ―Reference [3] shows ... .‖ Number footnotes separately in superscripts (Insert | Footnote).1 Place the actual footnote at the bottom of the column in which it is cited; do not put footnotes in the reference list (endnotes). Use letters for table footnotes (see Table I).Please note that the references at the end of this document are in the preferred referencing style. Give all authors’ names; do not use ―et al.‖ unless there are six authors or more. Use a space after authors' initials. Papers that have not been published should be cited as ―unpublished‖ [4]. Papers that have been submitted for publication should be cited as ―submitted for publication‖ [5]. Papers that have been accepted for publication, but not yet specified for an issue should be cited as ―to be published‖ [6]. Please give affiliations and addresses for private communications [7]. Capitalize only the first word in a paper title, except for proper nouns and element symbols. For papers published in translation journals, please give the English citation first, followed by the original foreign-language citation [8].1It is recommended that footnotes be avoided (except for the unnumbered footnote with the receipt date on the first page). Instead, try to integrate the footnote information into the text.C.Abbreviations and AcronymsDefine abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even after they have already been defined in the abstract. Abbreviations such as SI, ac, and dc do not have to be defined. Abbreviations that incorporate periods should not have spaces: write ―C.N.R.S.,‖ not ―C. N. R. S.‖ Do not use abbreviations in the title unless they are unavoidable (for example, ―INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT‖ in the title of this article).D.EquationsNumber equations consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin, as in (1). First use the equation editor to create the equation. Then select the ―Equation‖ markup style. Press the tab key and write the equation number in parentheses. To make your equations more compact, you may use the solidus ( / ), the exp function, or appropriate exponents. Use parentheses to avoid ambiguities in denominators. Punctuate equations when they are part of a sentence, as in.)()()||(exp)]2(/[),(21122λλλλλμσϕϕdrJrJzzrddrrFiijr-∞--⋅=⎰⎰(1)Be sure that the symbols in your equation have been defined before the equation appears or immediately following. Italicize symbols (T might refer to temperature, but T is the unit tesla). Refer to ―(1),‖ not ―Eq. (1)‖ or ―equation (1),‖ except at the beginning of a sentence: ―Equation (1) is ... .‖E.Other RecommendationsUse one space after periods and colons. Hyphenate complex modifiers: ―zero-field-cooled magnetization.‖ Avoid dangling participles, such as, ―Using (1), the potential was calculated.‖ [It is not clear who or what used (1).] Write instead, ―The potential was calculated by using (1),‖ or ―Using (1), we calculated the potential.‖Use a zero before decimal points: ―0.25,‖ not ―.25.‖ Use ―cm3,‖ not ―cc.‖ Indicate sample dimensions as ―0.1 cm ⨯ 0.2 cm,‖ not ―0.1 ⨯ 0.2 cm2.‖ The abbreviation for ―seconds‖ is ―s,‖ not ―sec.‖ Do not mix complete spe llings and abbreviations of units: use ―Wb/m2‖ or ―webers per square meter,‖ not ―webers/m2.‖ When expressing a range of values, write ―7 to 9‖ or ―7-9,‖ not ―7~9.‖A parenthetical statement at the end of a sentence is punctuated outside of the closing parenthesis (like this). (A parenthetical sentence is punctuated within the parentheses.) In American English, periods and commas are within quotation marks, like ―this period.‖ Other punctuation is ―outside‖! Avoid contractions; for example, write ―do not‖ i nstead of ―don’t.‖ The serial comma is preferred: ―A, B, and C‖ instead of ―A,B and C.‖If you wish, you may write in the first person singular or plural and use the active voice (―I observed that ...‖ or ―We observed that ...‖ instead of ―It was observed that ...‖). Remember to check spelling. If your native language is not English, please get a native English-speaking colleague toproofread your paper.VI. S OME C OMMON M ISTAKESThe word ―data‖ is plural, not singular. The subscript for the permeability of vacuum µ0 is zero, not a lowercase letter ―o.‖ The term for residual magnetization is ―remanence‖; the adjective is ―remanent‖; do not write ―remnance‖ or ―remnant.‖ Use the word ―micrometer‖ instead of ―micron.‖ A graph within a graph is an ―inset,‖ not an ―insert.‖ The word ―alternatively‖ is preferred to the word ―alternately‖ (unless you really mean something that alternates). Use the word ―whereas‖ instead of ―while‖ (unless you are referring to simultaneous events). Do not use the word ―essentially‖ to mean ―approximately‖ or ―effectively.‖ Do not use the word ―issue‖ as a euphemism for ―problem.‖ When compositions are not specified, separate chemical symbols by en-dashes; for example, ―NiMn‖ indicates the intermetallic compound Ni 0.5Mn 0.5 whereas ―Ni–M n‖ indicates an alloy of some composition Ni x Mn 1-x .Be aware of the different meanings of the homophones ―affect‖ (usually a verb) and ―effect‖ (usually a noun), ―complement‖ and ―compliment,‖ ―discreet‖ and ―discrete,‖ ―principal‖ (e.g., ―principal investigator‖) and ―principle‖ (e.g., ―principle of measurement‖). Do not confuse ―imply‖ and ―infer.‖Prefixes such as ―non,‖ ―sub,‖ ―micro,‖ ―multi,‖ and ―"ultra‖ are not independent words; they should be joined to the words they modify, usually without a hyphen. There is no period after the ―et‖ in the Latin abbreviation ―et al.‖ (it is also italicized). The abbreviation ―i.e.,‖ means ―that is,‖ and the abbreviation ―e.g.,‖ means ―for example‖ (these abbreviations are not italicized). An excellent style manual and source of information for science writers is [9].VII. E DITORIAL P OLICYThe submitting author is responsible for obtaining agreement of all coauthors and any consent required from sponsors before submitting a paper. It is the obligation of the authors to cite relevant prior work.Authors of rejected papers may revise and resubmit them to the journal again.VIII. P UBLICATION P RINCIPLESThe contents of the journal are peer-reviewed and archival. The journal INTERNATIONAL JOURNALOF ENGINEERING RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT publishes scholarly articles of archival value as well as tutorial expositions and critical reviews of classical subjects and topics of current interest. Authors should consider the following points: 1) Technical papers submitted for publication must advancethe state of knowledge and must cite relevant prior work.2) The length of a submitted paper should be commensurate with the importance, or appropriate to the complexity, ofthe work. For example, an obvious extension ofpreviously published work might not be appropriate for publication or might be adequately treated in just a few pages.3) Authors must convince both peer reviewers and theeditors of the scientific and technical merit of a paper; the standards of proof are higher when extraordinary or unexpected results are reported.4) Because replication is required for scientific progress, papers submitted for publication must provide sufficient information to allow readers to perform similar experiments or calculations and use the reported results. Although not everything need be disclosed, a paper must contain new, useable, and fully described information. For example, a specimen's chemical composition need not be reported if the main purpose of a paper is to introduce a new measurement technique. Authors should expect to be challenged by reviewers if the results are not supported by adequate data and critical details.IX. C ONCLUSIONA conclusion section is not required. Although a conclusion may review the main points of the paper, do not replicate the abstract as the conclusion. A conclusion might elaborate on the importance of the work or suggest applications and extensions.A PPENDIXAppendixes, if needed, appear before the acknowledgment.A CKNOWLEDGMENTThe preferred sp elling of the word ―acknowledgment‖ in American English is without an ―e‖ after the ―g.‖ Use the singular heading even if you have many acknowledgments. Avoid expressions such as ―One of us (S.B.A.) would like to thank ... .‖ Instead, write ―F. A. Author thanks ... .‖ Sponsor and financial support acknowledgments are placed in the unnumbered footnote on the first page .R EFERENCES[1] G. O. 2014大学英语四级作文真题范文及答案
2014大学英语四级作文真题范文及答案English: With the rapid development of technology, online shopping has become increasingly popular in recent years. Many people prefer to purchase goods online for its convenience, variety of choices, and competitive prices. They can compare prices and read reviews easily without leaving their homes. In addition, online shopping allows people to shop at any time of the day, which is a huge advantage for those with busy schedules. However, online shopping also has its drawbacks. The main concern is the security of personal information and online transactions. Hackers are constantly finding ways to steal sensitive data, which poses a risk to online shoppers. Furthermore, the inability to physically see or try on products before purchasing may lead to dissatisfaction with the quality or fit of the item. In conclusion, while online shopping offers numerous benefits, consumers should also be cautious and vigilant to protect themselves from potential risks.中文翻译: 随着科技的快速发展,近年来网购变得越来越流行。

2014年英语四级作文参考范文:With the rapid development of technology, social media has become an indispensable part of people's lives. It is no doubt that social media has brought about significant changes to the way people communicate, interact and live. However, its impact on people's lives is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, social media has greatly facilitated communication and interaction among people. With the help of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and WeChat, people can easily connect with friends and family, no matter where they are. They can share their thoughts, experiences, and emotions with others, and receive instant feedback and support. Social media has also become a powerful tool for people to voice their opinions and express their concerns about social issues. It has played a crucial role in promoting social movements and raisingpublic awareness of various problems. On the other hand, the excessive use of social media has also brought about negative impacts on people's lives. Many people, especially the younger generation, are addicted to social media, spending hours scrolling through their news feeds, checking updates, and posting selfies. This has led to decreased face-to-face communication and interaction, as well as a lack of real human connections. Moreover, social media has also become a platform for cyberbullying, spreading rumors, and promoting unrealistic beauty standards, which has caused psychological harm to many individuals. In addition, the constant exposure to social media has also led to a decrease in productivity and an increase in procrastination. Many people find themselves unable to focus on their work or studies, as they are constantly distracted by notifications and updates from social media. This has led to a decline in overall performance and efficiency. In conclusion, social media has undoubtedly had a profound impact on people's lives. While it has brought about positive changes in communication and interaction, it has also brought about negative consequences such as addiction, cyberbullying, and decreased productivity. Therefore, it is important for people to use social media in a responsible and mindful manner, and to be aware of its potential impact on their lives. Only by using social media wisely can we truly benefit from its advantages and minimize its negative effects.。
英语2014专八作文范文
英语2014专八作文范文英文回答:In the face of the rapidly changing global landscape, the question of whether individuals should prioritize their own interests or the interests of society has sparked considerable debate. While both perspectives offer valid arguments, a balanced approach that acknowledges the importance of both self-interest and societal well-being is likely to yield optimal outcomes for individuals and society as a whole. On the one hand, it is undeniable that individuals have a responsibility to pursue their own interests and strive for their personal happiness and fulfillment. After all, each individual is the best judge of their own needs, desires, and capabilities. By prioritizing their own self-interest, individuals can optimize their potential, achieve their goals, and live a meaningful life. Moreover, the pursuit of individual interests can contribute to societalprogress by fostering innovation, creativity, and economic growth. On the other hand, it is equally important to recognize the importance of societal well-being. A healthy and just society provides a stable and supportive environment for individuals to thrive. By contributing to society, individuals not only benefit themselves but alsocollectively improve the quality of life for all. Social responsibility can manifest itself in various forms, such as volunteering, ethical consumption, and political participation. By engaging in these activities, individuals can make a positive impact on their communities and help shape a better future for all.Ultimately, the question of prioritizing self-interest or societal interests is a false dichotomy. A harmonious balance between the two is essential for both individual and societal flourishing. Individuals who are mindful of their own interests while also being cognizant of their social responsibilities can navigate the complexities of modern society and contribute to the greater good.中文回答:在瞬息万变的全球格局面前,“个人利益优先”还是“社会利益优先”引发了广泛讨论。

英语四级作文范文20142014年英语四级作文范文,My View on Internet Addiction。
With the rapid development of the Internet, people's lives have been greatly changed. However, some people, especially the young, are addicted to the Internet. In my opinion, Internet addiction has negative effects on young people.Firstly, Internet addiction can lead to physical problems. Many young people spend long hours sitting infront of the computer, which can cause eye strain, back pain, and other health problems. Besides, they may neglect their meals and sleep, which can weaken their immune system and make them more susceptible to illnesses.Secondly, Internet addiction can have negative effects on young people's mental health. Many young people become addicted to online games, social networking sites, andother online activities. They may spend so much time on theInternet that they neglect their studies, hobbies, and social life. As a result, they may become isolated, depressed, and anxious. Moreover, Internet addiction can have a negative impact on young people's academic performance. Many young people spend so much time on the Internet that they neglect their studies. As a result, their grades may suffer, and they may have trouble keeping up with their schoolwork. In order to address the problem of Internet addiction, I believe that both individuals and society as a whole need to take action. Firstly, individuals need to be aware of the negative effects of Internet addiction and take steps to limit their Internet use. They can set a time limit for their Internet use, take regular breaks, and engage in other activities such as exercise, hobbies, and socializing with friends. Secondly, society as a whole needs to provide support and resources for young people who are struggling with Internet addiction. Schools, parents, and other institutions can provide education and counseling on the dangers of Internet addiction and offer support andresources for young people who are struggling with this problem. In conclusion, Internet addiction has negative effects on young people's physical and mental health, as well as their academic performance. In order to address this problem, both individuals and society as a whole need to take action to limit Internet use and provide support and resources for those who are struggling with Internet addiction. By taking these steps, we can help young people lead healthier, more balanced lives.。

Hardy classified it with the other works in the "novels of Character and Environment. The critical studies of Thomas Hardy have always tended to find the root of Tess’s tragedy from the Marxist, consumerist or feminist perspectives. However, this paper will find out the tragic fate of Tess in Tess of the d’Urbervilles from the perspective of Ecocriticism. In his eyes, historical changes in transitional society don’t necessarily mean development and progress, but imply failure and regret.Industrial civilization and modern life separate them from nature. Throughout his writing career, he has given much attention to the relations between human and nature, men and women. He believes that the nature and human are closely linked, which means that natural is fertile ground for the survival of women, moreover, women are the symbol of natural. They are the unity of experience, and their fate is complementary. Not only nature can get rid of the fate of being exploited, but also women can get the complete liberation. This thesis just attempts to apply the theory of Ecocriticism to reinterpret and analyze Tess of the d’Urbervilles, namely, one of the masterpieces representing his highest achievements. By using the literary theory of Ecocriticism and Literature analysis, the author analyzes the root of Tess’s tragedy from the relationships between men to women and man to nature.Through the analysis of the root of Tess’s tragedy, readers can not only deeply understand the fact that civilization is built up at the cost of destruction of natural beauty and ecological equilibrium, but also realize the importance of being in harmonious relationship with nature.(Times New Roman小4号,单倍行距)Key words: Ecocriticism root of Tess’s tragedy female and nature harmony(Times New Roman体小4 加粗)(Times New Roman体小4)关键词之间无标点符号,空一个字符(即两格)目□□录(黑体小2 居中)(段前为0.5行、段后为0.5行)1□引言 (1)2□生态批评的核心理论简介(各章的名称黑体4号,其余宋体小4) (3)□□2.1□生态批评理论 (4)□□2.2□生态批评主义作为环境保护的原则 (5)3□基于生态批评理论分析苔丝悲剧的原因 (5)□□3.1□苔丝作为自然的象征反映了生态批评者的观点 (7)□□3.2□生态变化和苔丝生活的转变 (9)□□3.3□资本文明对苔丝命运的破坏 (13)4□女性和自然应有的和谐关系 (14)□□4.1□自然与女性的等值 (14)□□4.2□女性自然化 (15)结束语 (16)致谢 (17)参考文献 (18)(结束语、致谢、参考文献黑体4号加粗)注意页脚形式(此处即页码形式)和正文不一样CONTENTS1 Introduction (1)2 Brief Introduction of Ecocriticism Theory (3)2.1Ecocriticism theory (3)2.2 Ecocriticism as the princple of environment protection (4)3 The Analysis of Tess’s Tragedy Based on Ecocriticism (5)3.1 The connection between natural scenery and Tess’s fate (5)3.2 Seasons alternation combining with Tess’s life changes (7)3.3 The tension relationship between human and nature (9)3.4 The destruction of Tess’s normal life by capitalist civilization错误!未定义书签。
