2016浦东新区初三,初三英语一模卷作文

2016浦东新区初三,初三英语一模卷作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Best Friend TimmyHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm gonna tell you all about my very best friend in the whole wide world - Timmy! Timmy and me, we've known each other forever it feels like. Our moms are best friends too, so we've been hanging out together since we were still little babies.I remember back when we were just starting kindergarten, Timmy was really scared on the first day. He was crying and didn't want his mom to leave. But I went right up to him and said "Don't worry Timmy, we can play together!" And from that day on, we've been inseparable besties. We do absolutely everything together. At school, we always pick to be partners for projects and stuff. We sit together at lunchtime and trade snacks - I like his Cheez-Its and he likes my Goldfish crackers. During recess, we're the coolest dudes on the playground, playing tag or climbing the jungle gym. After school, our moms take turns having us over at each other's houses to have playdates.Timmy's house is really fun 'cause he has a big basement with a zillion toys and video games. We can play for hours down there pretending to be superheroes or racecar drivers or whatever we feel like that day. I like it when we make bases out of blankets and pillows and have nerf gun wars too! He always lets me be the good guy which is awesome. At my house, we have a trampoline in the backyard that we jump on a ton. We take turns doing flips and seeing who can jump the highest. We crack up laughing whenever one of us falls off in a silly way. We also like playing basketball out back, even though the hoop is kinda broken. Timmy's not as good at sports as me, but he tries his best which is what matters. On the weekends when the weather is nice, our families will go to the park together. Timmy and I have so much fun running around chasing squirrels and playing frisbee. Sometimes other kids come up and wanna play too which is cool with us. The more the merrier! We love taking turns pushing each other super high on the swing sets.Last summer, we got to go to camp together for a whole week! That was the funnest time ever. We stayed up late everynight whispering and telling spooky stories in our cabin. We did all kinds of fun activities during the day like swimming, hiking, canoeing, and making lanyards and stuff. I felt kinda homesick at first, but having my best buddy Timmy there with me made it so much better. We made a bunch of new friends at camp too which was really cool.I could go on and on about all the adventures Timmy and I have been on, but I'll stop here. Having a awesome best friend like Timmy makes life so much more fun. We may drive our moms kinda crazy sometimes with how loud and hyper we get when we're together. But they're just happy we have each other. I'm sure Timmy and I will be best bros until we're old and wrinkly! We'll always have a million amazing memories to look back on.篇2Of course! Here's an essay of around 2,000 words, written in English from the perspective of a primary school student:My Awesome School DaysHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm a 10-year-old boy studying in the 5th grade. I want to tell you all about my super cool school days!School is like my second home. I spend most of my day there, learning new things, playing with friends, and having loads of fun. Our school building is pretty big and has lots of classrooms, a huge playground, a library, and even a swimming pool! How awesome is that?My favorite part of the day is when the bell rings in the morning. I love seeing all my friends and catching up on what they did the previous evening. We chat and joke around until our teacher, Mrs. Wilson, asks us to settle down.Mrs. Wilson is the best teacher ever! She makes learning so much fun. Instead of just reading from textbooks, she uses games, activities, and even songs to teach us. Math used to be my least favorite subject, but now I really enjoy it because of the cool ways Mrs. Wilson teaches it to us.After our morning lessons, it's time for recess! That's when we get to go out and play in the playground. There are swings, seesaws, monkey bars, and even a big field where we can play soccer or frisbee. My best friend Jacob and I usually race each other to the swings because those are our favorites.Sometimes during recess, we have special events like sports competitions or talent shows. Last month, I participated in the school's annual spelling bee and made it to the final round! I wasso nervous on stage, but Mrs. Wilson had prepared me well. Even though I didn't win, I was still really proud of myself for trying my best. After recess, we have a few more lessons before lunchtime. Our school has this really cool cafeteria where they serve all kinds of yummy food. My favorite is pizza day – the cheese stretches so far when you take a bite! Sometimes I pack my own lunch from home too. My mom makes the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In the afternoon, we have fun classes like art, music, and P.E. Art is my absolute favorite because I love drawing and painting. I'm really good at drawing animals, especially dogs. One day, I want to be an artist or maybe even a cartoonist!P.E. class is also a blast. We get to play games like dodgeball, capture the flag, or do fun exercises. Our P.E. teacher, Coach Roberts, is really nice but he does make us run laps sometimes. I don't mind though, because staying fit is important. Before we know it, the final bell rings and it's time to go home. The school day just flies by because it's so much fun! I always feel a little sad when I have to leave. On my way out, I always stop by my favorite spot – the little garden area near the entrance. It has beautiful flowers, butterflies fluttering around, and even a tiny pond with fish in it. Taking a moment to appreciate nature calms me down after a hectic day. Some days, my parents are running late to pick me up. That's okay though, because then I get to spend time in the awesome school library. It has thousands of books on every topic you can imagine! I love reading adventure stories and comic books.Occasionally, I even stay after school for extra activities. There are so many fun clubs and classes to choose from like art, chess, dance, robotics, and more. My current favorite is the science club where we get to do all kinds of cool experiments!I really love my school and all the wonderful experiences I've had here so far. Even though there's still homework and tests, which can be stressful sometimes, I appreciate how caring and supportive my teachers are. They truly want us to succeed and are always willing to help.My time in primary school is almost over, but I'll never forget all the amazing memories I've made. From winning the class handwriting competition in 1st grade to performing in the school play last year, it's been an incredible journey. I've learnedso much, both academically and about myself. Most importantly, I've made lifelong friends who I'll cherish forever.Well, that's my school life in a nutshell! It has its ups and downs for sure, but I'm grateful for all the opportunities it has given me to learn, grow, and have loads of fun along the way. I can't wait to see what adventures await me in middle school and beyond. But for now, I'm just soaking up every moment of being a kid. School days are the best days!篇3My Life as a Third GraderHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in the third grade. I'm nine years old and I go to Oakwood Elementary School. Third grade has been a lot of fun so far, but also kind of challenging at times. Let me tell you all about what my life is like!First off, I absolutely love my teacher, Mrs. Anderson. She's really nice and funny, but also strict when she needs to be. We do a lot of fun activities and projects in her class. Just last week, we made these really cool dioramas for our science unit on ecosystems. I made a rainforest diorama with a little stream, trees, and plastic animal figures. Mrs. Anderson loved it and put it up on display in the hallway! My favorite subjects are probably art and gym class. In art, we get to do all sorts of crafty projects like painting, drawing, sculpting with clay, and more. I'm a pretty good artist if I do say so myself! I especially like painting and making things out of clay. Gym is just pure fun - we play all kinds of games and sports like kickball, soccer, basketball. I'm really fast so I'm decent at the running games. Not so much at basketball though since I'm still pretty short!Recess is definitely the highlight of my day. I love getting out of the classroom for a while and running around on the playground with my friends. We play tag, hide and seek, pretend games where we're superheroes or characters from our favorite movies and shows. Sometimes we also just hang out and chat about video games, movies, our favorite snacks, you know (i)stuff! Then there are the not-so-fun parts of third grade...like math.I just find it so boring and hard to pay attention. All those numbers and equations make my head spin! I really have to work at it to get decent grades. My parents are always telling me how important math is though, so I try my best. Writing can also be tough when we have to do reports and essays. Thinking of whatto write and getting all my thoughts down on paper is a struggle sometimes. One of the biggest challenges this year has been making new friends. I was kind of shy at the start of third grade and didn't really know many people in my class. It took me a little while to start opening up and talking to the other kids. Slowly but surely though, I've made some awesome friends like Jake, Emma, and Ryan. We've gotten really close and do everything together at recess and lunch. Friends just make the whole school experience so much better!Speaking of lunch, the food at school...well, it's not the greatest. Practically everything tastes bland or mushy. The pizza is okay, but the veggies are always overcooked and tasteless. I'd way rather have my mom's homemade meals! At least we get snack time in the afternoon which is always something to look forward to. Gotta keep that energy up after using our brains so much. After school, I really enjoy having free time to just relax and have fun. I'll typically have a snack, maybe do a little homework if I have any, then go outside and play if the weather is nice. Video games are another big pastime of mine - I play a lot of platformers, adventure games, and racing games on myNintendo Switch. Building with Legos is another favorite activity. I've made some epically cool spaceships, vehicles, and buildings over the years. On weekends, my parents will sometimes take me and my little sister somewhere fun like the zoo, a museum, the park, or an arcade. We also go on hikes a good amount which I don't mind since I have a lot of energy to burn off! Every now and then, we'll go on a short road trip which is awesome. I love exploring new places and seeing different cities and landscapes out the car window. You know, despite some of the not-so-great parts, I really do love being in third grade overall. Elementary school just has such a fun, carefree vibe. My parents always get nostalgic when they talk about their childhood years saying "These are the good old days!" I can definitely see why - I get to spend practically all my time playing, using my imagination, and having fun without too many real worries or responsibilities. I know things will get more challenging and serious as I get older, so I'm trying to just enjoy every minute of this time!Well, I think that's a pretty thorough overview of mynine-year-old life for you. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for reading all about my adventures in thirdgrade. It's been fun reminiscing and I hope you got a good peek into what it's like being a kid my age. We may be little, but we've got BIG personalities!篇4My Life as a 9th Grader in PudongHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm a 9th grade student at one of the top middle schools in Pudong New District, Shanghai. Life has been pretty hectic lately with preparing for the zhongkao (the high school entrance exam) coming up soon. But I'll try my best to give you a glimpse into the daily life of a 9th grader like me!A Typical School DayMy day usually starts at around 6am when my mom knocks on my door to wake me up. I'll admit, I'm not a morning person at all but I have to drag myself out of bed or else I'll be late for school. After a quick breakfast, I hop on my bike and cycle the 10 minutes to school. The roads are always so crowded in the morning with cars, buses, bikes and people all rushing to get to work or school on time.Classes start at 7:30am sharp so I have to be in my seat by then. The first two periods are usually core subjects like Math, English or Chinese. I really enjoy English class as my teacher Mr. Wang makes it fun with lots of activities and discussions. But then we get slammed with so much homework and test prep that it takes the joy out of learning sometimes. We get a 20 minute break after the first two periods to grab a snack or hang out in the playground. My favorite snacks are jianbing (crepe with egg and sauce) and xiaolongbao (little steamed buns). During this time, a lot of students will be cramming and doing last-minute homework too. The playground gets super crowded so I prefer to stay in the classroom and chat with my deskmate. After break, we have another two periods before lunch at 11:30am. Lunchtime is probably my favorite part of the day as I get to go to the cafeteria with my best friends Jin Hao and Mei Mei. The cafeteria ladies make pretty decent food - my favorites are the fried rice, dumplings and stir-fried veggies. We'll wolf down our food quickly then spend the rest of the break period playing basketball or just idling around talking about random things. In the afternoon, we have self-study period followed by two more class periods before we're finally released at 5pm. Phew, it's been a long day! Some days I have after-school tutoring classes that last till 7 or 8pm for extra math, English or Chinese lessons. Those days are really exhausting. After School ActivitiesIf I don't have tutoring, I'll either go home and work on my mountain of homework or hang out with friends. My parents have signed me up for piano lessons twice a week in the evenings too. I've been learning piano since I was 6 and while it's not my favorite thing in the world, my parents insist it's good for developing discipline and creativity. On weekends, I try to get out and about in Pudong as much as I can to take a break from school work. Sometimes I'll go to the movies or shopping at the big malls like Super Brand Mall or Cloud Nine Mall with my friends. We take the metro which is really cheap and convenient. Other times, we'll just walk around Lujiazui area and hang out at cafes or bubble tea shops. I also love visiting Century Park and just chilling on the grass or riding bikes there.Living in PudongPudong is an awesome place to grow up in because there's always so much to see and do. It's such a modern and international area compared to other parts of Shanghai. You see crazy futuristic skyscrapers right next to traditional lane neighborhoods. Glitzy malls and highrises stand beside little hole-in-the-wall shops selling dumplings or fried snacks. There's a mix of people from all over China and the world here too which makes it a very diverse community. At the same time, the pace of life here is super fast. Everyone is always rushing around, working hard to achieve their ambitions and make money. The competition for school and jobs is intense. Pudong parents especially tend to be quite demanding of their kids in terms of academics and extracurriculars. My parents are always nagging me about getting good test scores!Looking AheadAs for my future plans, I'm really hoping to get into one of the top high schools in Pudong after the zhongkao. The exam prep has been so stressful but I know it will be worth it if I can make it into a good high school. That will then pave the way for getting into a prestigious university down the road.My dream is to eventually get into a top university like Fudan or Jiaotong, and then work at one of the big companies in Lujiazui financial district. How cool would it be to work at a篇5My Life as a KidHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Pudong Elementary School here in Shanghai. Today I'm going to tell you all about my life as a kid growing up in one of the biggest cities in the world!Every morning, my mom wakes me up around 7am for school. I don't like getting up that early, but she makes me! After I get dressed in my school uniform, I eat breakfast. My favorite is jianbing, which is like a crispy crepe with egg and veggies inside. Yum!Then I take the school bus to campus. The bus is always SO crowded with kids. We're all squished together like sardines! My best friend Mei Mei sits next to me and we chat the whole way. School starts at 8:30am sharp. My favorite subjects are art and P.E. I love painting and drawing pictures. And I'm really good at running and playingbasketball and soccer too. Math is okay, but I'm not a huge fan of it. Reading and writing are kind of boring to me as well. For lunch, the school cafeteria has pretty decent food. They have all sorts of Chinese dishes like fried rice, dumplings, noodles, and veggie stir-fries. Sometimes they have pizza or pasta too which is fun! I try to avoid eating too many deep-fried foods though since they aren't very healthy. After school gets out around 3:30pm, I either go home or stay for one of my afterschool activities. On Mondays I have Chinese calligraphy class. It's really hard to write those tiny characters neatly! Tuesdays I have piano lessons. I've been playing piano since I was 6 and I'm getting pretty good at it now. Wednesdays is my big soccer practice day. I'm the striker on my team and I score tons of goals! When I get home in the late afternoon, I have a snack like some fruit or a few cookies while I work on my homework. Homework can be such a drag sometimes! I definitely don't like having hours of it to do every night. For dinner, my mom or dad cooks for us. We have a lot of stir-fries with veggies, tofu, and meat. My little brother David is 5 and he's a pretty picky eater - he doesn't like anything that looks "weird" to him! After dinner, I have some free time to watch TVshows, play video games, or hang out with my neighbors who are also my good friends. On the weekends, I really look forward to sleeping in past 8am. Such a luxury! My parents like to take me and David to fun places around the city like museums, parks, the aquarium, or the science museum. Shanghai has SO many awesome things to do.Sometimes we go on little weekend trips outside of Shanghai too. We've visited places like Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, and even been to Beijing once! I love traveling around and seeing new cities. In the summer, I attend a day camp at my school for most of the holiday. We have all sorts of activities like arts & crafts, cooking, sports, music, and field trips to fun places. Last summer we went to Happy Valley amusement park - it was a blast! The best part of summer though is being off from school for 2 whole months.Well, that's a pretty good overview of what life is like for me as a 10-year-old kid here in Pudong. Writing this has made me realize how lucky I am to live in such a cool city with lots of opportunities. Even though I grumble about school and homework sometimes, I know I'm getting a great education. And my parents make sure I have a nice mix of study, activities, funtimes, and just being a kid. Shanghai is an amazing place to grow up!篇6My Life as a Primary School StudentHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm a 12-year-old student in the last year of primary school. I know I'm still just a kid, but I've already learned so much in my life and I thought I'd share some of my experiences with you.First of all, let me tell you about my family. I live with my mom, dad, and younger sister in a cozy apartment in the city. My dad works really hard as an engineer at a big company, and my mom is a teacher at a nearby primary school, which is actually the school I go to! Having your mom as one of your teachers can be kind of embarrassing sometimes, but I know she just wants the best for me. My little sister Xiao Mei is only 6 years old and is already really smart and cheeky. She loves playing games and making messes, but I still love her a lot.School takes up a huge part of my life, as I'm sure it does for most kids my age. I wake up bright and early at 6am every morning to get ready for class. The school day starts at 7:30am and doesn't end until 5pm! We have classes in all the coresubjects like math, Chinese, English, and science, as well as classes for art, music, and PE. Phew, it's a lot to take in for a little kid like me! But I actually really enjoy learning new things every day.My favorite subjects are definitely math and English. I've always been pretty good at math and I love the challenge of solving tough equations and word problems. English is really interesting to me because it's such a different language from Chinese. I get to learn about another culture and way of life through learning English. My English teacher is really fun and makes the classes really engaging for us students. After school, I usually have a short break for an hour or two before I start my homework and prepare for the next day of classes. Once that's done, I finally have some free time in the evenings to relax and do whatever I want. I really enjoy reading fiction novels, drawing and painting, or sometimes just watching TV shows or movies. Every few weeks, my parents will take me and my sister out for a special dinner or activity as a treat. My favorite is when we go to the museum or the aquarium to learn about history, science, and nature in a fun way.The weekends are definitely the highlight of my weeks. On Saturdays, I usually go to extracurricular classes in the morningsto learn skills like coding, robotics, music, or art. I know it sounds like even more school, but I actually look forward to these special classes a lot because they let me explore subjects that really interest me. In the afternoons, my friends and I might go to the park, see a movie, or have a video game competition at someone's home. Sundays are my true free days to sleep in late (yay!), and just relax and recharge from the hectic school week.As I prepare to "graduate" from primary school and head to junior high soon, I'm definitely feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. I'll miss the cozy familiarity of my current school, teachers, and friends. But I'm also thrilled about all the new opportunities waiting for me to grow, learn, and explore new subjects and interests. Junior high will be loads of work for sure, but I feel ready to take it on after all I've experienced and learned in primary school so far. Wish me luck!So there you have it, a little window into my life as Xiao Ming the primary school student. Being a kid definitely isn't all just。

This essay will explore the positive and negative impacts of technology on education and discuss the balance that needs to be struck to ensure a productive learning environment. On the positive side, technology has made education more accessible. With the advent of online courses and virtual classrooms, students from all over the world can now access quality education without the constraints of geographical location. The use of multimedia tools, such as videos, animations, and interactive software, has made complex subjects more digestible and has catered to different learning styles.
