EPON的核心技术介绍EPON为以太无源光网络,PON为其缩写,该技术属于新型的光纤接入网技术,属于点到多点应用的光接入技术,主要使用无源光纤及多点结构传输,可以满足以太网的多种业务需求。

无源光网络主要由光线路终端(OLT)、光网络单位(ONU)及光分配网络(ODN)组成,可以将其本质特点看作ONU所有均由无源器件组成,信号可通过分光器将光纤传输给用户。

1、EPON的技术特点与传统以太网相比,主要具有几方面特点:(1)OLT与ONU使用光分路器、光纤等连接,不需要有源设备维护人员、机房及配置电源,节省了较多的建设成本,实际应用效果较显著;(2)上下均使用单纤波分复用技术操作,只需光纤和OLT就可得到理想的传输距离。

在ONU侧,可应用光分路器将其传输给各个用户,减轻了光纤耗费成本。

(3)EPON具有传输IP数据、TDM及视频广播的能力,其中IP 与TDM主要应用IEEE 802.3采用以太网方式操作,并设置有网管辅助系统,提高了传输质量。

(4)上下行均为千兆速率,上行应用时分复用共享带宽,下行使用用户加密方式共享带宽,高带宽有效满足了接入网客户需求,而且可结合用户需求合理的分配带宽。

(5)点对多点结构一般采用增加ONU 数量及设置用户侧光纤方式实现系统升级,保证了运营商的投资安全。

2、EPON核心技术(1)动态带宽分配的DBA动态带宽分配算法表示实时改变EPON各OUN的带宽机制。

如果EPON带宽为静态分配,此时就不能进行数据通信业务变速,如果采用峰值速度静态分配带宽,容易在短期内用尽带宽,而且降低了带宽利W率。

从另一方面分析,动态带宽分配的实现提高了了系统带宽利用率。

一般可利用DBA实现ONU业务要求,在ONU之间开展动态调节带宽可有效提升PON的上行带宽效率。

随着效率的提升,可以给PON 上增加跟多W用户,用户可W到的带宽峰值完全超过传统固定分配带宽。

动态控制经常进行集中控制,该种方式可让发送所有ONU 上行信息,而且都必须给LOT提出带宽申请,然后OLT结合ONU等相关要求满足带宽W授权,分配准则的主要思想是,任意一个ONU都可分割实习信元到达的时间分布,并能进行带宽请求操作,OLT可根据ONU 要求合理、公正的分配带宽,并能处理好细细乱码、超载及信元丢失等情况。
