2.能听、说、读、写number、visitor、world等单词,认读medal、bronze、proud、won、bought 等词语,并能进行描述。
3.能够正确理解课文对话,获取课文中的相关信息,能够正确朗读课文,表演对话。
4.能够了解北京奥运会的相关知识,表达自己的自豪之情以及对祖国的热爱。
二、教学重难点1.教学重点:(1)学习询问在过去做某件事的数量:“How many…did…?”并能做出相应的回答。
(2)了解北京奥运会的相关历史、知识。
2.教学难点:(1)运用“How many…did…?”询问在过去做某件事的数量,并做出相应的回答“They/I/….”。
(2)词汇win及其过去式won的认读和使用;world的发音。
三、教具准备教学课件、单词卡片、录音机、北京奥运会的有关图片,如:金、银、铜奖牌等。

2.学习对话(1)认识图中人物。
·教师出示并引导学生观察主题图,逐一指着图中细节获取信息:如北京奥运会的会徽、奖牌、奥运场馆、火炬传递圣火等,引导学生尝试用英文描述图片内容。
·请学生继续观察图片,认识图中人物Sara和Yangyang,并提问:“Where are they?”学生会说:“In the Bird's Nest.”教师继续提问:“What are they talking about?Can you guess?”学生猜测答案。
教师带着学生听对话录音。
(2)初听理解对话。
·播放对话录音两遍,请学生听一听对话谈论的话题“What are they talking about?”然后说一说听懂的词语及对话的大概内容。
·重复播放Sara的第1段话,选择灵活的方式解释host、great、success等单词,帮助学生理解“They were a great Suc-cess.”的句意。
·播放Yangyang和Sara的第1轮对话,理解重点句“How many medals did Chinese atheletes wi n?”及其答语。
教师板书gold/silver/bronze medals并重复Sara的问题,请学生回答并在黑板上写出各种奖牌的数量,向学生介绍“金牌榜”,引导学生表达:“China was No.1 in the gold medal table.”·播放Yangyang和Sara的后一轮对话,提出问题:“What did Yangyang see at that time? What did Yangyang think of the Beijing Olympics?”请学生开展group work,结合问题讨论理解两位小朋友的对话内容。

(二)Listen,look,and learn分析与提示·本部分内容为学生提供了爸爸在商场买衬衫、小女孩从图书馆借图书等两幅图片及bought 3 shirts、borrowed 6 books等相应短语供学生认读词语。
练习运用buy、bor-row的过去式bought、bor-rowed。
仿照例句进行替换、活用练习。
达到熟练语用的目的。
1.词句学习(1)教师出示北京奥运会金牌榜的图片,然后提问:“How many medals did Chinese atheletes win?”引导学生说出:“They won 51 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.”(2)教师出示爸爸在商场买衬衫、小学生从图书馆借图书等图片,请学生观察图片,尝试用英文就图片上信息进行表达。
(3)请学生边看书中的图片边听录音,跟读图下面的单词。
(4)提示学生注意,在问句和回答中动词buy及过去式bought、borrow及过去式borrowed 的区分使用。
(5)开展team work,朗读图旁的单词及过去式,记忆单词bought。
2.巩固练习(1)请学生阅读例句:“How many medals did Chinese athelete s win? They won 51 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.”注意句中的黑体字部分。
(2)请学生将所给名词及动词的过去式替换句中的黑体字部分。
如:How many shins/books did the man/girl buy/borrow?He/She bought/borrowed... .选择灵活的方式提示学生,在做替换练习时要注意句子的主谓一致。
3.拓展运用开展pair work,请学生创设情景,用所学交际用语展开情景对话。
教师巡视指导,请准备好的学生在全班表演对话。
(三)Listen and match分析与提示·本部分为学生提供了根据所听内容将奖牌与数字进行连线的一道练习题。
培养学生的听力、理解力和判断力。
本练习的难度不大,可采用检测的方式由学生独立完成。
(1)请学生认真观察图片,了解图片内容,做好听录音的准备。
(2)播放录音,播三遍。
第l遍请学生认真听,第2遍请学生根据所听内容,将相应的图片与数字连线。
第3遍,再听录音检查自己的答案。
(3)组织学生订正答案。
(4)请学生看所连线的图片,跟读录音,注意语音、语调。

教师在引导学生说一说的时候。
可以先画一个思维导图或是表格的形式,帮助自己梳理信息点之间的条理和逻辑性,注重语言知识和语言技能的相结合。
