一、单元内容整体分析:

本单元的话题是职业表达,主要功能是能简单介绍人物职业。主要语言结构为:What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? 并围绕主题引出一系列词汇:singer,actor,actress,engineer,policeman,cleaner,accountant等。

二、本单元教学目标:

(一)知识目标:

1、能够掌握A、B两部分Let's learn,Let's talk中的四会单词singer,writer,actor,actress,artist,engineer,accountant,policeman,salesperson,cleaner,where,work,TV reporter和四会句子What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work?

2、能够听、说、认读A、B部分Let's talk,Let's read中的白体句子。

(二)能力目标:

1、能够简单介绍人物职业,如He's / She's a / an ...

2、能够运用句型“What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”等询问他人的工作情况,并给出相应回答。

3、能够按要求较好完成Group work等活动。

(三)情感、策略、文化等有关目标:

1、情感态度:热爱生活、尊重他人劳动。

2、学习策略:能积极与他人合作,运用所学英语进行交流,共同完成学习任务。

3、文化目标:了解英语中职业名称对于不同性别的差异(Good to know)。

三、本单元教学重、难点:

重点:使学生掌握一些职业的英语表达并就此展开相关讨论。

重点句型是“What does your father / mother / ... do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”。

难点:让学生在任务活动中熟练运用不同句型进行交流。

Step1: Warm-up

1.Greeting

2.Enjoy a chant before class.

3.Ask and answer.

Step2: Presentation

1) Review the words of jops by playing a guessing game.(从简笔画过渡到明星)

2)Read and say

She cleans streets. She is a ...

If you like working with numbers and money. You can be an ...

If you like drawing and math, you can be

3)Review the sentences

Brain Strom:

WYN? —— What's your name?

WDYMD? —— What does your mother do?

WDSW? ——Where does she work?

HDSGTW? —— How does she go to work?

Step3: Practice

1)明星零距离

T: Look at the man . He is very funny. He is about 40 years old. He works at CCTV. Who is he?

S: He is Li Yong.

T: Who is in the picture too?

S: Liu Huan, Yao Ming, Zhao Wei.

T: What do they do? Where do they work? How do they go to work?

Can you make a dialogue like this?

2)Each group choose one picture to make a new dialogue. First give an example.

And then there is no example, there are four pictures, choose one and make a new dialogue.
