一、Warming up
创设chant的情境(出示一张北京的照片,从而引出欢迎外国游客来中国旅游的情景),学习welcome, welcome to ……..
Look at this picture: Do you know where this is? Yes, it’s Beijing.
Look at these people, they are foreigners. Let’s say welcome to China for them. And say welcome to Beijng.
如果你想询问对方坐火车来的,坐飞机来的,可以这样问。Did you come by train?/plane How do you answer this question? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t, I came by ship.课件出示练习问与答。

二.教学活动二
1、Do you like to travel? 教学travel. Today I take you to travel the US. How about t he US. Look, It’s a map of the US. US also is USA. Look, this is New York, this is W ashington DC, and here is San Francisco. They are very famous cities.
2、出示课件:进一步认识这几个城市。

3.揭示课题。Daming has a cousin. 教学cousin. He lives in the US.He is on holida y in New York. 教学on holiday Does he live in New York?并提出该问题。并分析这句话解决问题。
4.再次提出问题Did he live in New York last year?播放录音,孩子听,并寻找答案。
5、Daming’s cousin sent him a postcard from US. 教学cousin postcard。课件出示,It’s a postcard. Now let’s have a look.What did it say. (Open your book, please.)
