Lesson 11.I love animals !(我爱动物)关坪九年一贯制学校毛竹青一、说教材。

本课是陕西旅游出版社六年级下册内容的第11课,本节课主要谈论的是关于动物的话题,低年级时同学们已学了一些常见的、简单的动物名称。

例如:dog,duck,cat等等。

这一课我们将要继续学习关于动物名称。

例如:lion,zebra 等。

还要能用句型I can see……来描述你所看到的动物以及句型I like…best 描述你喜欢的动物。

二、说教学目标。

[知识技能目标]1、学习关于动物的单词。

2、能够听、说、读、写动物的单词,并能在实际情景中灵活运用。

3、能用句型:I like to……\I like ……best.\How interesting they are! 对动物进行简单的描述。

[方法过程目标] 交际法、情感鼓励法、练习法。

[情感、态度、价值观目标]1、使学生对学习新知识充满兴趣。

2、让学生懂得要爱护大自然,保护动物的思想情感。

三、说教学重难点本课的重难点有两个。

1、能够听、说、读、写动物的单词,并能在实际情景中灵活运用。

2、掌握重点句型:I like to……\I like ……\How interesting they are!四、说教学策略1、图片教学法:用展示图片的方法来学习单词,简单直观,通俗易懂,加深学生单词的记忆。

2、情感鼓励法:用情感鼓励法来教育学生要不怕失败,不放弃的学习态度,增强学生学习的信心。

3、练习法:交际法。

教师与学生交流,促进师生之间的和谐,活跃课堂气氛,提高教学效率。

五、说教学过程首先是导入部分,通过聆听音乐视频观看来让学生发现其中的动物,并从中感受人类对动物的破坏,用这个方法导入,首先达到了两个目的:一是复习了旧知识。

二是给学生灌输了思想情感教育。

其次是直接揭示出本课的课题。

其次是新知识学习部分,在这一部分,我采用图片教学法来教授新单词。

首先出示图片,并用英语进行简单的对话,以此来学习新单词,掌握新单词,落实本课的教学目标。

3.培养学生的观察力,注意力等综合能力,激发学生积极思维,挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力,同时培养学生喜爱动物、保护动物的美德。

4.“四会”词句:snake,zebra,girsffe,lion,elephant,hippo,monkey,kangroo,deer,fox,wolf,tiger,panda.I can see┉I saw┉I like┉best教学重、难点(Key points and difficult points):1.熟练掌握本课的“四会”词句。

2.学会用句子 I can see┉I saw┉表达自己看到或见到过什么动物,用句子I like ┉表达自己喜欢什么动物,并且学会描述动物的特征。

3.培养学生“爱护动物”,“保护动物”的美德。

教学过程(Teaching process):一、复习导入1.老师可以和学生一起唱歌,最好是上节课所学的那首歌。

2.老师指着学生身边的某件实物,说句子:How ┉they are /it is!让学生做同样的活动。

3.全班同学一起朗诵上节课所学的日记内容。

It’s my honor to stand here and show you my speaking lesson draft. Today, my topic is primary school English students’ book eight lesson 11 ‘I love animals.’Ⅰ、Teaching material1、Teaching contents:In this lesson, we mainly talk about animals. Students are required to speak and write the animal names and use the structure ‘I can see something’ freely.The knowledge we will learn this class plays a very important part in primary school and early english learning. It lays the foundation for further study in junior high school.2、Teaching important and difficult points:Master the sentence structure ‘I can see something.’Ⅱ、Teaching goals1、Knowledge goals :Be able to speak, write and use the animal names.eg: snake, tiger, panda, giraffe, monkey and so onBe able to use the sentence structure ‘I can see something.’2、Ability goal:Be able to communicate with others about animals by using the new words and sentence structure freely.3、Moral goal:Cultivate students’ virtue of loving animals and the nature.Ⅲ、Teaching method:1、Teaching design:English learning should have a good language environment. So I will design some specific scene for them to learn English. In order to inspire students’ interest and initiative, I will teach them by playing games and guide them to make many conversations.At the same time, I will bring the new knowledge by reviewing the old knowledge, from words, phrases to structures and conversations, from easy to difficult, step by step. They will master the new knowledge easier, faster and firmer in this way.2、Learning methods:The students I teach are from Grade Six. They have already had some English learning skills and thinking ability. Therefore, I will get rid of the force-feeding teaching before and increase the interaction of teacher and students. Though my guiding, students learn to explore and master new knowledge by making sentences and conversations, comparison and observation. This may improve students’ initiative in learning and make them become the learning agents.3、Teaching methods:In order to teach the class well, I will insert some related pictures and music during the teaching process to create a lively environment. Also, I will use group competition, interesting games and some other activities to attract students’ attention. In this way, they will participate in the class actively. They will study happily in a free and relaxing environment and enjoy the happiness of learning.Ⅳ、Teaching process:1、Situation Leading:In order to ease students’nervous feeling and create a free and relaxing learning environment, I will start free talks with students.Eg: How are you today? I am fine. What is the weather like today? It is sunny, isn’t it?Then I will play an english children’s song about animals for we have learned some animals names in last class. Students can remember the knowledge learned last time in music and guess what will learn today.2、words games:I will guide students to review the animal names which we learned in the last class. Now we will play a game. I will devide the class into two groups, boys and girls. I will ask a student to come to the platform and tell him an animal name quietly. Then he is supposed to imitate the voice and action of the animal. Other students will guess what the animal is. The group which gets the right answer will get a smiling face.I review the animal names with them through this game. During the game, I may find that some students forget the words or they can not pronounce them correctly. I will correct their pronounciation one by one. I will show the pictures of animals with words to them by powerpoint. Then I will teach them to read. Now we have seen so many lovely animals. So we should love animals and protect them.Now let’s listen to the tape from the textbook and tell me the animals you hear after listening. It can practice students’ listening and speaking.4、Happy learning:I will show all kinds of animal pictures to them. Then I will ask them: ‘What can you see in this picture? ’ When showing a picture, I will guide them to answer the question by using ‘I can see something.’ Then practice by groups. Boys and girls will compete with each other. First show a picture, boys ask: ‘What can you see in this picture?’Girls answer the question. Then showanother picture, girls ask and boys answer. I will show four groups of pictures for them to practice. If they still can not master the drill well, I will show some more pictures appropriately and guide them to make sentences.Next, I will ask them: ‘ Have you been to the zoo? Do you want to go to the zoo with me? Ok, let’s go now!’ I will show them a picture of many animals for several seconds. Then I will close the picture and give them ten seconds to remember what they saw just now. After that, students will tell the animals they see by using the drill we are learning today. I will see which group says more and better, boys or girls. Then they will get a smiling face too.Now make conversations with your partner. Eg: One asks: ‘What can you see in this picture?’The other answers. I will give them some time to practice.5、Chant:Through the activities before, I will know if they really master the knowledge. If they still can not master it well, I will consolidate it by a chant below.Pandas, pandas, I can see pandas.Lions, lions, I can see lions.Tigers, tigers, I can see tigers.Giraffes, giraffes, I can see giraffes.This is a simple poem written by myself. It contains the new words and the important sentence structure we are learning today.I will write some sentences like this and teach them to read. At the same time, students can clap their hands and desks or use other body gestures to create a lively atmosphere. To make the chant more interesting, I will devide the poem into two parts. Boys say: ‘ pandas, pandas.’ Girls say: ‘I can see pandas.’ Then change the roles. I will see who plays better, boys or girls. Of cause, they will get a smiling face.6、Review:I will get rid of the way to sum up the knowledge we have learned by myself. Instead, I will guide them to sum it up by themselves, including new words, sentence structure and so on. This may make them feel happy to gain knowledge. Also I can test them the degree of understanding the knowledge. If students still can not understand it completely, I can explain it appropriately.7、HomeworkAs I told you before, the students I teach are from Grade Six, so the homework to them should not be too much or too difficult.A、Read and write the new wordsB、Make five sentences by using the sentence structure ‘I can see something.’C、Discuss with each other what kind of animals you like. We will learn another sentence structure of this lesson, that is ‘I like something.’ So this discussion is a way to preview what we will learn in next class.8、Blackboard DesignLesson 11 I love animals.Ⅰ、words:Panda, giraffe, wolf, snake……Ⅱ、Drill:I can see something.Eg: A:What can you see in this picture?B: I can see monkeys.This blackboard design is very clear and concise, Also, the most important knowledge of this class is on the blackboard. Lesson11 I love animals本课谈论的是有关动物的话题,是在以前学习过又关动物(dog,duck,cat)等的基础上继续学习其他一些动物的名称及形态特征。

通过本课的学习,要使学生学会运用来描述所看到的动物,会用来描述最喜欢的某种中动物。

完成这个活动后,复习已学过的几种动物的名称(dog,duck,cat),互相询问都喜欢什么样的动物。

2. 新课展示(New presentation)¤.动物名称的学习:Snake(蛇) zebra(斑马) elephant(大象) giraffe(长颈鹿) lion (狮子) hippo(河马) fox (狐狸) wolf (狼) tiger(老虎) kangaroo (袋鼠) monkey (猴子) deer (鹿) panda(熊猫) 注意以上单词的单复数形式一般名词的复数都是在词尾加-s,如:panda—pandas;以x\ch\sh结尾的单词加es,如:fox—foxes;还有部分单词是单复数同形,如:deer—deer:还有的单词变化是单词完全变形,如mouse—mice(老鼠)。

¤.用英语描述自己看到了什么动物、喜欢什么动物和最喜欢什么动物时,一般要用到句型: What can you see in…? 教师叫一个学生到黑板前面,在耳边轻轻说一个动物名字,让这个学生通过模仿这种动物的声音和动作,其他同学来猜,猜到的同学将会给他们组得一分。

做完这个活动,教师和学生快速复习这些动物的名称。

复习完动物名称,教师可以和学生之间进行随机对话,询问互相都喜欢什么动物,对下面的学习内容做好铺垫。
