After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. He had lived inside for 40 years. 肖生克的救赎观后感英文版After watching the movie "The Shawshank Redemption," I was deeply moved and inspired by the powerful message it conveys. The film, directed by Frank Darabont and based ona novella by Stephen King, tells the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary. Throughout the movie, Andy's unwavering hope, resilience, and determination to maintain his dignity in the face of adversity left a lasting impact on me.One of the central themes of the film is redemption. Andy's journey from despair to redemption is a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and transformation. Despite facing unimaginable hardships and injustices in prison, Andy never loses hope or faith in himself. He uses his intelligence, resourcefulness, andinner strength to survive and eventually find his way to freedom. Andy's redemption is not just about escaping from prison; it is about finding inner peace, forgiveness, and asense of purpose in life.Another powerful aspect of the film is the friendship between Andy and Red, a fellow inmate played by Morgan Freeman. Their bond transcends the confines of the prison walls and serves as a source of support, companionship, and hope for both men. Red's narration throughout the film adds depth and poignancy to the story, highlighting the enduring power of friendship and human connection. The Shawshank Redemption also explores themes of institutionalization, corruption, and the search for justice. The prison system depicted in the film is rife with brutality, injustice, and cruelty, yet Andy's unwavering spirit and integrity stand in stark contrast to the corruption and moral decay of the institution. The film challenges viewers to question the nature of justice, the power of redemption, and the importance of maintainingone's humanity in the face of adversity.Overall, "The Shawshank Redemption" is a timeless masterpiece that resonates with audiences across generations. Its powerful storytelling, memorable characters, and profound themes make it a film that stays with you long after the credits roll. Watching AndyDufresne's journey from despair to redemption is a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and thetransformative power of hope, friendship, and inner strength. It is a film that inspires us to never lose faith in ourselves, no matter how dire the circumstances may seem.。

肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇1Everyone is the god of his own. If you have succumbed to yourself, then who can be your savior all through the world? ---Form The Shawshank RedemptionThe story begins with the trial of a young banker called Andy, who victimized by circumstantial evidence and be put into the Shawshank prison. Ellis and many other prisoners had been in the prison for so many years that they had accustomed to this kind of life. Even they did not want to go out. It’s not only because they can’t, but also that they lived here for years without hope. You see, they lived just in the small prison living a boring life, it’s a gray world where nobody knows what their dream was, what their hope was. However, as the old man said: Some birds aren't meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it. Though they tried too many times, they never finished it, so they gave up. Nonetheless, Andy tried. He has the smart brain, the never fading persistent, as well as the most important thing----hope. With a small hammer to dig through the tunnel to drainage pipe, and then climb over the drainage pipe outside to the river, Andy succeed in escaping the constraint .The scene impressed me most is when Andy got out of jail, he extended his arms in front of him in the heavy rain as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment,I saw the confidence win the darkness, bright light dazzles the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could feel my recreant heart being shivering as his voice said: “Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever d ies!”It’s obvious that hope is a good thing. Whatever difficulty it is, we can’t lose the hope. Hope is enduring. Why we study? Because of the hope. We don’t hope us to be the man who nobody knows, so we go ahead for the dream. That it is , hope is worthy to be kept on the way to realize our dreams.肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇2I think this movie is very meaningful. I like it very much. You must think so too. You must all have a lot to say. But according to what we have appointed, I’m the Chair, so please let me show you my opinion first. The story begins with the trial of a young banker, Andy Dufrense, victimized by circumstantial evidence, resulting in a conviction for the murder of his wife and her lover. After a quick conviction, Andy finds himself serving a life sentence at Shawshank prison, with no hope of parole. He exists in this prison only in appearance, keeping his mind free from the drab walls around him. His ability to do this results in the gaining of respect from his fellow inmates, but most of all from Ellis Redding. Ellis, commonly referred to as Red, finds gainful use of his entrepreneurial spirit within the drab walls of Shawshank by dealing in contraband and commodities rare to the confines of prison. Andy's demeanor and undeniable sense of hope causes Red to take a deeper look at himself, and the world around him. Andy proves to Red and the other inmates that in the conventional walls of Shawshank prison convention will find nohome in his lifestyle. As far as I’m concerned, this movie shows us three th ings: freedom, friendship, and hope. If we take a movie as a novel, thenis a great novel without doubt. It reflects the real social life, and creates several typical characters with Classic Quotes and a few kinds of modifications. This movie organizes the main scenario of the story in a simple way and at the same time using some petty lines. It expresses the subject in a very artistic way. There were three words, the first is freedom. However, what impressed me is nearly everyone in the prison got accustomed to the prison life. What’s more, an old man even suicide after he was set free. I have a very deep feeling of friendship. The second word accrued to me is friendship. Friendship is a necessary in our life. In this movie, the friendship between Andy and Red moved me. It gave me an idea: getting a real friendship is more important than money and power. Friendship is really important, and in my opinion, it is very hard to get a real friendship. When we don’t have a real friend, we will feel very lonely. I may have this feeling during these days. That is really incredibly hard. Also there are some sentences in the movie that really impressed me. The sentence I like most is “hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” Because I think, it encourages people appreciate the beauty of life, to keep their hope in heart forever. “It was as if some beautiful birds had flapped into our drab little cage and made these walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.” From this sentence, I start to know that, in fact, something cannot be noticed at all. That is like the freedom of our heart. We need it, just like you have never forgotten it.Another one is: “Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can se t you free. A strong man can save himself. A great man can save another.” I like this sentence because it teaches me to let me full of courage and hopes. It urges me to have the determination to succeed. In the end, I want to use a sentence to summarize this movie: Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇3Based on the Stephen King (non-horror) novella “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption”, this is a simple story of hope made remarkable by the interaction between the two lead characters. Just imagine you are caught by police one day for some reason. All the evidence show that you have killed someone, but actually you are innocent, somebody else is responsible. Finally, you are sent into prison for a sentence of several years. What will you do No evidence can prove your innocence. All of you can think about this question, because it does happen in our real life. what do you thinkNow this happens to the hero in this 's see what the hero will do.This is our hero,Andy, a banker , whowas wrongly accused of murdering his wife, and is sentenced to two consecutive life sentences at is Norton, thewarden,a cruel man . Here is Red ,if you're sensitive enough, you can find Red is the first three letters of Redemption, rightRed is rejected for parole after having served twenty years of his and Andy gradually became friends. Red is able to get some small goods for the prisoners, so Andy asked Red for a rock hammer because of his interest in carving rocks with this hammer, Andy escaped from the is amazingAndy dug a big hole on the wall for 19 years and hid it with a poster, just beyond our imagination. He crawled through 500 yards and then a pipe full of shitsmelling dirty water lly he got freedom. You know, the freedom is waiting for you out of theshawshank. Consequently, If i were Andy ,i can break through the dirty water. But what about 19 years to dig a big you do it Another thing is , do you think Andy is just keeping digging every day during the 19 yearsOf course not. I think this is the most amazing part of the movie. He played music, every man felt free;he expanded the library by writing one letter per weeks to the government to ask for money to rebuild the liberary; he helped T ommy to read from ABC's.What's more,he helped the guards do tax returns, evenincluding course, he would help Norton, because Norton killed y can prove his of the prison ,Andy mailed norton'sevidence of crime to the government, and then his judgment will unavoidable come. He killed himself.Red was faced with the same situation with Brooks, after he was out of the prison. That is he cannot adapt himself to the life out of the prion, and even worse, he have no hope about his new life out theshawshank. But, finally, because of Andy, Red found a different way of life, full of once said,"hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies." so he decided to go to Buxton and start a new met again in the coast of Pacafic Ocean.Because time is limited, i can't mention all the details of the 'd better watch it yourself, everyone could find something precious ks foryou attention!肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇6Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!Andy in the film there is such a word: " Don't forget that there are ... Places ... In the world that are not made up of stone, there is something ... Inside ... That they can not get to ... That is hope ( don't forget the world through walls, all things, there's something inside, that they cannot get to, that they cannot touch, that is hope ) ". Indeed, as ANDY said, the wall can bind our body freedom, even in the system that can bind our spiritual freedom, but only hope can not give up. Lose hope of life is dull, lifeless, and even there is no significance. ANDY in my heart has not abandoned the desire for freedom, but he has also been hope for their own efforts -- every night to use the hammer to dig RED that hundreds of years to dig through the wall. And for RED and BROOKS, they had to give up hope, because in their view of hope can only make yourself more pain, even think hope is the source of the pain. A man in the 19 years of painful prison life, do not give up longing for freedom, this is a kind of spiritual beliefs, so he succeeded, recapturing their freedom, the judgment of the Lord fell quickly.肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇7Shawshank Redemption is a film co-operated by white people and black people. On the contrary, they arise from the inner needs of human beings, thepursuit of eternal values, and the inspection and discovery of the constantlychanging objective world. And only then will God, or religion and faith, guideyou through your own salvation and your own breakthrough. Ive been readingbuddhist altar sutra, six ancestors huineng founded to "sex" sees the Chinesezen Buddhism, the root is also mastered chan is no longer a way, a kind oftheory, a kind of discipline, is no longer the outward things, but of lifeexists in the deep hearts core, which reflects the rationality of religiousnature. Unlike eastern Buddhas who seek ethereality and transcendence, WesternGods may be more fixated on original sin and redemption, but both are productsofthe human mind.Andy with their wisdom and perseverance, finally completed the miracle ofthe escape, and let the warden get the deserved punishment. After he got out ofprison, why did he leave instead of following the usual Hollywood logic andtrying to prove his innocence?Because God exists within. Sin and non-sin, at the level of the soul, thereis no need to prove but to constantly examine oneself! When asked again if hehad been reinvented before being paroled, Rhett said frankly, "Reinvented? Idont quite understand the meaning of this word. I used to repent every day, notbecause I was here, or because you thought I should repent. I tried to tell theyoung man who had sinned in the past what was right and wrong, but he could notfind it. Only the old man was left with white hair. The Shawshank Redemptionpointed out the way to salvation. God walks with the human soul at alltimes! In the name of religion, doctrine, law and even justice, many people inmodern society, like The warden NORTON, have lost their basic honesty andcharacter as a human being in the name of personal and group self-interest, inthe name of exculpation, rhetoric and sophistry. When a man is accustomed toacting and without introspection, he has fallen into the hell of eternaldamnation, let alone redemption!肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇9The story took place in 1947.the banker Andy, had misjudgment committed the crime of murder which suddenly pushed Andy’s life to a world of hell.He was sentenced to life imprisonment, sent to Shawshank . However, Andy did not give up hope successfully escaped from prison and gave free. The story may sound simple, but the truth behind the wordsis remarkable. When I heard the name of the film first time, I considered the Shawshank to be a man’ name, but in face it is a jail——a hell in the world. Not only for the inhumanity of the jailors——they behaved rudely but also for the jail gnawed at people’ heart by keeping them waiting and waiting as life passed. It seemed that only those utterly worthless people who gave up everything could survive. That’s where the story happened. The part impressed me most is when Andy got out of the jail. He extended his arms in front of him in the heavy rain as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I saw the faith win the darkness, discharging light dazzling the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could feel my recreant innermost being shivering as his voice said: “Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!”That’s why I like this film: it encourages people to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important is to keep hope forever. Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether busy living or busy dying.肖申克的救赎英语读后感篇10Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!I can’t agree with it any more. In the film, the walls of the prison can bind people’s freedom. But they can not deprive people’s hope. The hero, Andy, never abandons the desire for freedom, and he keeps up working for his hope. Every night andy u ses the little hammer to dig the wall that in others’ opinion, it will takes hundreds of years to dig through. He makes allpreparations for leaving the prison. So he succeeds, and regains the precious freedom. It is hope that helps Andy get through painful prison life and regain the freedom. At the same time, hope saves his friend’s life too. Therefore, in real life, no matter how difficult the situation is, we shouldn’t give up our hope. We should stick to work hard for the hope. In this way our life will not lose its significance. So please remember, Hope is a good thing, and no good thing ever dies!。

肖生克的救赎观后感英文版

肖生克的救赎观后感英文版Firstly, the film masterfully portrays hope as a powerful force that transcends the bleak confines of prison. Andy Dufresne, played with quiet resilience by Tim Robbins, embodies this notion. Despite being wrongfully convicted and subjected to brutal conditions, Andy never loses sight of his hope for freedom. His meticulous planning of an escape, symbolized by the iconic tunnel excavation, becomes a metaphor for the persistence of hope even in the darkest moments. This resonates universally, reminding us that hope is not just a passive sentiment, but an active choice that can shape our reality.Secondly, the film underscores the transformative power of genuine friendship. The unlikely bond between Andy and Red, portrayed poignantly by Morgan Freeman, exemplifies this. Their friendship transcends racial barriers and defies the dehumanizing nature of prison life. It is their unwavering support for each other that sustains them through years of hardship, offering solace, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose. Their story emphasizes that even in the most oppressive environments, authentic humanconnections can nourish the soul and provide a glimmer of light amidst darkness.Lastly, the film celebrates the irrepressible human spirit that refuses to be broken by external circumstances. Both Andy and Red demonstrate remarkable resilience and dignity throughout their ordeal. Andy's intellectual prowess, artistic pursuits, and his audacious acts of defiance against the corrupt prison system showcase his unyielding spirit. Meanwhile, Red's journey towards self-reflection, acceptance, and ultimately, his embrace of hope, illustrates how even those who have resigned themselves to their fate can rediscover their will to live and break free from their metaphorical prisons. In conclusion, "The Shawshank Redemption" is a cinematic masterpiece that profoundly explores hope, friendship, and the resilience of the human spirit. It reminds us that even in the bleakest of situations, these intangible qualities can sustain us, liberate us, and ultimately, redeem us. The film serves as a testament to the enduring power of hope, the transformative nature of friendship, and the irrepressible spirit within each of us, leaving an indelible mark on viewers' hearts and minds.。

But the warden killed the young prisoner the only man that knewAndy was innocent. Then he knew the prison he could not stay any more. It took him 20 years to tunnel secretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. When he got free, Andy sent the evident which could prove the warden corruption, briber and murdering to the policy agency. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. This film impressed me a lot. A sentence was said in the film: ’Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.’In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. So unfortunately he chose to commit suicide. However, on the contrary, Andy said a converse sentence:’ Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, that"s all. Their feathers are just too bright’ He long for the freedom and strive for it! What I remember very clearly is someone said that These wallsare kind of funny things like that. First, you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That is institutionalizing. But Andy hadn’t been affected. He insisted on his faith of freedom. He dared to pursue his deserved freedom! That’s the first point I appreciate. What’s more, anothe r thing I think is friendship. Of course, Andy’s perseverance and endeavor is the main reason that he succeed in escaping. But it can’t be denying that friendship is also a important reason. Without the friends’ help in the prison, especially red’s, He can’t break the prison, too. Even in the jail which is the most evil place that Andy could make it a significance place. He had transformed a storage room smelling of turpentine into the best prison library in New England. Then the prisoners read the books and got knowledge from it. Andy also helped them to pass the high school equivalency. The glitters of him lighted others’ life. That helps him built many sincere friendships in the prison. He just too bright that didn’t belong to the prison .Then he escape and gained the freedom.Furthermore, the patience, courage and b willpower are the keys to escape. 20 years, not a short ordeal time, but he endured. He made his plan day by day, week by week and year by year. He never gives up. he took nearly twenty years to dip a tunnel with a little rock hammer which Red said it would take a man 600 years to tunnel under the wall with one of these to fight for his free .And he did it finally. Please imagine, crossing the tunnel he dup, he still should crawled through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness. That is the length of five football fields. Then is the last but not least, I think. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent, and the most important thing----hope. Just as Andy said to Red: Hope is a good thing, may bethe best of things. In this film, Andy show us that how good thing the hope is. Yes , hope is a good thing. Whatever it is, it can’t lock the hope. We all have dream. We all have hope. We all have it and please never give up, like Andy. This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.。

肖申克的救赎英文版读后感

肖申克的救赎英文版读后感"The Shawshank Redemption" A Tale of Hope and Redemption. After reading "The Shawshank Redemption," I was deeply moved by this extraordinary story. The main character, Andy Dufresne, is a man who is wrongly convicted of murder and sent to Shawshank prison. At first, it seems like he's doomed to a life of despair in that cold, gray prison. But Andy is different. He doesn't let the prison walls break his spirit. He has this unwavering hope that just shines through all the gloom. One of the things that really struck me was how Andy managed to create a sense of normalcy and beauty in the most unlikely place. He set up a library in the prison! Can you believe it? He was like a ray of sunshine in that dark cell block. He got the other inmates interested in reading and learning, which was like bringing a little bit of the outside world into Shawshank. It made me think that no matter how bad your situation is, you can always find a way to make it better.Andy's friendship with Red was also really heartwarming. Red was a long time inmate who had sort of given up on the idea of ever getting out. But Andy's hope was contagious. Their conversations were full of wisdom and a sort of unspoken understanding. Red was the narrator of the story, and through his eyes, we could really see how much Andy changed the lives of those around him in the prison. The whole idea of redemption in this story is so powerful. Andy was not only redeeming himself in a way, by holding on to his dignity and hope, but he was also redeeming the other inmates, at least in spirit. He showed them that there was more to life than just the prison routine. And then, of course, there's the famous escape. When Andy finally made his break, it was like a victory for the human spirit. He had been digging that tunnel for years, bit by bit, with his tiny rock hammer. It was a symbol of his unwavering determination. He didn't let the long term nature of his plan stop him. He just kept at it, and in the end, he got his freedom. This book also made me think about the justice system. How could a man like Andy be wrongly put in prison? It made me realize that the systemisn't always perfect and that there are probably a lot of other Andys out there who are suffering unjustly.Overall, "The Shawshank Redemption" is not just a story about a prison break. It's a story about hope, friendship, and the indomitable human spirit. It tells us that no matter how deep you are in the hole, there's always a way out if you keep believing in yourself and never give up hope. It's a book that I would recommend to anyone who needs a little inspiration in their lives.。

Have you ever felt that way about hope? Hope is the only thing in the wild world not carved out of gray stone. Hope is a small place inside of us anyone can never lock away. That is what I’ve learnt from an excellent movie The Shawshank Redemption. The story begins in 1947, when Andy Dufresne, a city banker, is wrongfully convicted of his wife and her lover. He is sent to Shawshank prison and receives a double life sentence for the crime. In shawshank, Andy forms an extraordinary friendship with Red, a man who knows how to get things from the outside. Andy gets a 5 inches long rockhammer and a huge poster from Red, by which he secretly puts his pipedream into practice. After 20 years digging, Andy tunnels through the prison wall. Then he crawls 500 yards through the sewer and gets out into a ditch near the field beyond the ground of Shawshank, with no equipment, no one knows. On the first viewing, it’s the story of Andy and his struggle to maintain hope despite his circumstances. However, this is really a movie about Red and his struggle to find meaning and purpose. It seems that we are more or less similar with Red, because we’ve got used to the gray walls around us, which stand for routine, and then more routine. If one day, these wallsdessolve away, we’ll be afraid instead of free. We’re afraid of not being ruled? That sounds ridiculous, but we actually are! Fortunately, when Red is faced with the same situation as we are, because of Andy, he can find a different path—the path of freedom that is lit by hope.Sometimes, we feel many things have let us down and don’t hope for the good anymore. But I have to say, suffering is not always a bad thing. Suffering produces perseverance, character, and character, hope. If we can see hope through all the hardship, nothing’s gonna stop us marching tow ards victory!Hope is the chief happiness the world affords. Hope encourages people to keep fighting for dreams, freedom and dignity. Hope helps people to appreciate the beauty of life. “He once is born, that is die.” Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether you get a busy living or a busy dying. Remember we aren’t the birds that meant to be caged, when we spread our wings and fly away, we’ll appreciate the trembling of the heart, the singing of the mind, the flying of the soul and the hope to be free.《肖申克的救赎》观后感英文篇5Based on the Stephen King (non-horror) novella “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption”, this is a simple story of hope made remarkable by the interaction between the two lead characters. On the contrary, they arise from the inner needs of human beings, thepursuit of eternal values, and the inspection and discovery of the constantlychanging objective world. And only then will God, or religion and faith, guideyou through your own salvation and your own breakthrough. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and wha t’s their hope. Their feathers are just too bright’ He long for the freedom and strive for it!What I remember very clearly is someone said that These walls are kind of funny things like that. First, you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That is institutionalizing. But Andy hadn’t been affected. He insisted on his faith of freedom. He dared to pursue his deserved freedom! That’s the first point I appreciate. What’s more, another thing I think is friendship. Of cour se, Andy’s perseverance and endeavor is the main reason that he succeed in escaping. Just as Andy said to Red: Hope is a good thing, may be the best of things. In this film, Andy show us that how good thing the hope is. Yes , hope is a good thing. Whatever it is, it can’t lock the hope. We all have dream. We all have hope. We all have it and please never give up, like Andy. This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.《肖申克的救赎》观后感英文篇9The story took place in 1947.the banker Andy, had misjudgment committed the crime of murder which suddenly pushed Andy’s life to a world of hell.He was sent enced to life imprisonment, sent to Shawshank . However, Andy did not give up hope successfully escaped from prison and gave free The story may sound simple, but the truth behind the words is remarkable. When I heard the name of the film first time, I cons idered the Shawshank to be a man’ name, but in face it is a jail——a hell in the world. Under the light, I could feel my recreant innermost being shivering as his voice said: “Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing everdies!”That’s why I like this film: it encourages people to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important is to keep hope forever. Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether busy living or busy dying.。

《肖申克的救赎》电影观后感用英语

《肖申克的救赎》电影观后感用英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Shawshank Redemption is Super Awesome!I just watched this really old movie from 1994 called The Shawshank Redemption. My dad said it's one of the best movies ever made, and I have to agree with him - it's amazing! Let me tell you all about it.The movie is about this guy named Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. Andy is sent to prison for murdering his wife, even though he says he didn't do it. The prison he goes to is called Shawshank, and it's a really scary looking place with tall grey walls and barbed wire everywhere. When Andy first gets to Shawshank, the other prisoners are mean to him because they think he's too fancy and educated. But Andy doesn't let them push him around. He's determined to one day prove his innocence and get out of prison. I admire how brave and hopeful he is, even though his situation seems impossible. While in prison, Andy becomes friends with an older inmate named Red, played by Morgan Freeman. Red is really nice and helps look out for Andy. He gets Andy things from the outside world, like a rock hammer and some cold drinks. Their friendship is one of the best parts of the movie.Andy is really smart and he uses his brains to make things better at Shawshank. He helps some of the prison guards get out of tax troubles by doing their taxes for them. He also starts helping the warden with bookkeeping and financial stuff for the prison. But the warden is a total jerk! He's stealing money from the prison and using Andy to help cover it up. When Andy finds out, the warden gets super mad and throws him in solitary confinement for a long time as punishment. It's really sad seeing Andy get mistreated like that when he's such a good guy. While in solitary, Andy doesn't lose hope though. He starts slowly digging a tunnel through the wall, little by little each year. It takes him almost twenty years, but he eventually breaks through to the other side and escapes from Shawshank! His escape plan is so clever and well thought out. I was on the edge of my seat watching it happen. After Andy escapes, he sends the warden a note letting him know about all the crimes he committed. The warden gets so upset that he takes a bunch of cash and runs away too, before getting hit by a bus and dying! I didn't feel bad for him at all since he was evil.My favorite part is when Andy goes to this beautiful beach in Mexico after breaking out. He looks so happy and free finally. Red gets released from prison soon after and goes to join him, just like Andy hoped would happen. Their reunion on the beach at the end is really emotional and touching. By that point, you really feel like Andy deserved his freedom after all he went through.Overall, I think The Shawshank Redemption has a little bit of everything - friendship, suspense, injustice, perseverance, and ultimately triumph over adversity. The performances by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are amazing too. They seem so real, like you're watching actual people and not actors. The movie does have some inappropriate language and violent scenes, so I wouldn't recommend it for really young kids. But for someone my age, around 10 or 11 years old, I think it's totally fine as long as your parents are ok with the content. If you haven't seen The Shawshank Redemption yet, you are seriously missing out! It's considered one of the greatest movies of all time for good reason. I can't wait to watch it again soon. It's over two and a half hours long, but it goes by super quick because the story is so engaging and inspiring. After watching it, you'll feel hopeful about overcoming your own challenges in life, just like Andy did. What an uplifting and powerful film!篇2The Amazing Movie - The Shawshank RedemptionHi everyone! Today, I want to tell you about a super awesome movie that I watched called "The Shawshank Redemption." It's a really cool movie that I think all of you would enjoy. The movie is about a man named Andy Dufresne, who is sent to a prison called Shawshank for a crime he didn't commit. Even though he is innocent, he has to stay in prison for a long time. Life in prison is tough, but Andy doesn't lose hope. He shows us that no matter how hard life gets, we should always stay positive and never give up.One of the things that I loved about this movie is the friendship between Andy and Red. Red is another prisoner whobecomes Andy's best friend. They help each other through tough times and always support one another. It teaches us the importance of friendship and how it can make our lives better.Another thing that I found really interesting was how Andy tries to bring hope and happiness to the other prisoners. He starts a library in the prison and helps the prisoners learn new things. He also plays beautiful music over the loudspeakers, making everyone feel free for a few moments. It shows us that even in the darkest of places, we can find ways to bring light and joy.The movie also has some really exciting moments. There are times when Andy has to be really clever and think of creative ways to solve problems. It made me think that no matter how big or small our problems are, we can always find a solution if we use our brains and think outside the box."The Shawshank Redemption" taught me some important lessons. It showed me that even when life is unfair, we should never lose hope. It taught me about the power of friendship and how it can make our lives better. It also reminded me that no matter how difficult things may seem, there is always a way to overcome them.I would highly recommend this movie to all of you. It's not just a movie for adults, but for kids like us too. It's a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and most importantly, think. So gather your family and friends, grab some popcorn, and enjoy "The Shawshank Redemption"!Remember, even in the toughest of times, we can find hope and make a difference in the world, just like Andy did.篇3The Shawshank Redemption: A Kid's ReviewWow, what a movie! The Shawshank Redemption is a really long but really good film about a guy named Andy who goes to prison for something he didn't do. I just saw it with my parents and I have to tell you all about it!The movie starts off kind of sad. Andy is a banker who gets arrested for murdering his wife and her boyfriend, even though he says he didn't do it. The police don't believe him and he gets sent to this super scary prison called Shawshank. It's a terrible place with mean guards and really bad people locked up. I wouldn't want to go there! When Andy first gets to Shawshank, the other prisoners are not very nice to him. They take his stuff and make fun of him for being new. But then he meets a guy named Red who becomes his friend. Red is really cool - he can get things from the outside world, like a rock hammer and some nice posters for Andy's cell. I wish I had a friend like Red at my school!Despite the horrible conditions, Andy never stops hoping that he'll get out of Shawshank one day and prove his innocence. He is always trying to look on the bright side of things and keeps his mind active by reading, writing letters, and even helping the guards with taxes and legal stuff because he used to be a banker. Andy is probably the nicest and smartest guy in the whole prison! After many years of being stuck in Shawshank, Andy comes up with an incredible plan to escape. It involves digging a tunnel over the course of nearly 20 years! Can you imagine digging a hole little by little for that long? I can barely make it through my chores without getting bored. Andy must have been extremely patient and determined. The plan works and Andy manages to escape from the evil warden and angry guards chasing him. It's such an exciting scene with Andy crawling through a really gross pipe filled withhorrible smells and creatures. When he finally comes out the other side, he stands under a big raincloud feeling free for the first time in almost 20 years. I was so happy for him at that part! After escaping, Andy makes it to a beautiful beach in Mexico that he had admired in a poster on his cell wall for years. The movie ends with his friend Red also getting out of prison and joining Andy on that same pretty beach. They seem so relaxed and at peace after all their struggles. What a happy ending! My favorite part of the whole movie was seeing the awesome friendship that developed between Andy and Red over the decades they spent together in prison. Despite the terrible circumstances, they looked out for each other and kept each other going with little gestures of kindness and humor. Their bond was really inspirational to me. I hope I can find a best friend like that someday who sticks with me through thick and thin.Overall, I totally loved The Shawshank Redemption! It had me feeling sad, scared, excited, and overjoyed at different points. The movie shows that hope and friendship are really powerful things that can get you through even the darkest of situations, like being stuck in a bad prison for way too many years. I think both kids and adults can learn a positive lesson from Andy and Red's story about never giving up and being a good friend. If you haven't seen The Shawshank Redemption yet, I highly recommend you watch it! Just make sure to get some popcorn and snacks ready because it's pretty long at over 2 hours. But it's an amazing film that you'll never forget, full of awesome characters and an ending that will have you cheering! I can't wait to watch it again soon.篇4The Shawshank Redemption Movie ReviewWow, The Shawshank Redemption was such an awesome movie! It's a little long for a kid like me, but it kept me hooked the whole time. The story is about this guy named Andy Dufresne who gets sent to prison for murdering his wife and her boyfriend, even though he says he didn't do it. Can you imagine being stuck in jail for something you didn't even do? That would be the worst!Andy has to go to this super scary prison called Shawshank. The warden who runs the place is really mean and corrupt. A lot of the guards are bullies too and treat the inmates terribly. The living conditions are horrible - the cells are tiny, it's dirty and cold, and the food looks absolutely disgusting. I'd probably cry every day if I had to live there!Despite all the bad stuff, Andy refuses to let the horrible situation get him down. He's one of the toughest, bravest guys I've ever seen in a movie. No matter what, Andy holds onto hope that he'll someday prove his innocence and regain his freedom. I really admire his resilience and positive mindset.Andy's best friend at Shawshank is a guy named Red. At first, Red doesn't have much faith that Andy is innocent. But over time, Red sees what an amazingly good person Andy is on the inside. Andy uses his skills to help out his fellow inmates like giving them financial advice and doing taxes for them. He's generous, intelligent, and treats everyone with respect, even the mean guards. One of the coolest parts is when Andy gets beers for the inmates and they have a huge beer party while tarring the prison roof. Andy gets the old record player working and blasts music across the yard! I can't imagine how incredible that must have felt for the prisoners to experience a simple joyful moment like that after being trapped for so long.Andy comes up with this brilliant plan to escape by slowly digging a tunnel over decades with just a tiny rock hammer. He's so smart and patient to chip away at the wall for years and years.I don't know if I could ever have that much self-control anddetermination. AndyFINALLY manages to pull off the escape through the tunnel and leaves Shawshank a free man after nearly 20 years! It's such a victorious, fist-pumping moment when Andy escapes and sticks it to the horrible warden.Andy's friend Red gets released from prison not long after. There's a really emotional scene where Red finds a box Andy left for him with a note telling him to go to a certain hayfield. Red gets there and Andy was already there waiting for him! They give each other a huge hug after being best friends for decades. I don't care how tough you are, that scene would make anyone cry happy tears. In the end, Andy and Red sail away to live in freedom and peace in Mexico or somewhere tropical. They made it through one of life's toughest challenges and never lost hope. The Shawshank Redemption has such an inspiring story about perseverance, hope, and friendship. I think everyone should watch this movie, kids and adults alike. It's now one of myall-time favorite films and I can't wait to watch it again!篇5The Shawshank Redemption Movie ReviewWow, The Shawshank Redemption was such an awesome movie! It's one of my new favorites for sure. At first, I didn't think I would like it because it's kind of an old movie from 1994 and it's really long at over 2 hours. But my parents said it was a classic movie that I had to watch, so I gave it a chance. I'm so glad I did!The movie is about this guy named Andy Dufresne who gets sent to prison for murdering his wife, even though he says he didn't do it. The prison he goes to is called Shawshank and it's a really scary, tough place. There are mean guards and dangerous prisoners everywhere. Andy has to learn how to survive and not get beaten up or worse. At first, Andy seems scared and out of place in the harsh prison environment. But eventually, you see that he's one of the smartest, bravest guys in there. He uses his brains and integrity to earn respect from the other inmates and even some of the guards over time. My favorite parts were seeing how heout-smarted the crooked prison workers and finally got his revenge on them in the end.The friendship between Andy and his best friend Red was the heart of the whole movie for me. Red is this older prisoner who has been in Shawshank for a super long time already when Andy arrives. At first, Red doesn't think Andy will last longbecause he seems too innocent and weak for prison life. But they become best friends and look out for each other over the 20 years they're locked up together.Red helps Andy get things from the outside world, like a rock hammer and books. And Andy helps Red by giving him hope that he can one day get out of prison and experience life as a free man again. Their friendship is so strong that even when Andy escapes from the prison, he promises to help get Red out too once he gets settled on the outside. I loved seeing how these two good guys stuck together through thick and thin.My jaw dropped during the scenes where Andy escapes from Shawshank! First, he spent almost 20 years digging a tunnel through the prison wall little by little every night. Can you imagine having the patience and determination to chip away at a wall for that long? Andy definitely had grit! Then, he crawled through a disgusting sewer pipe filled with nasty stuff to finally break free. When the warden and guards realized Andy was gone, their faces were priceless! The ending was just perfect when Red finally got released from prison too after almost 40 years inside. I was so happy he followed the clues Andy left for him and made it to the beautiful beach in Mexico to reunite with his friend. They really deservedto spend their remaining years together in paradise after all the unfair suffering they went through. What I loved most about The Shawshank Redemption was the message that you should never give up hope, no matter how tough things get. Andy could have just accepted his fate and rotted away in that horrible prison for decades. But instead, he spent all those years coming up with an ingenious plan to escape and expose the corruption of the evil warden and guards. His bravery, integrity, and hope in the face of injustice was really inspiring.Even though this was mostly a serious, dramatic movie, it had some funny and heartwarming moments too that kept it entertaining the whole time. My favorite funny part was when Andy locked the rude guards out of the prison and played that loud opera music over the loudspeakers. He showed those mean bullies what for! It was cool seeing the prisoners all together cheering and feeling free for once.Overall, The Shawshank Redemption gets five huge stars from me! It had everything - amazing characters, a fascinating story, big life lessons, some laughs, and a rewarding ending where the good guys prevailed. Even though parts were sad or violent, the movie ultimately fills you with hope and inspiration. Ican't wait to convince all my friends to watch this modern classic too. It deserves to be seen again and again!篇6The Shawshank Redemption: A Movie That Will Make You Believe in HopeWow, what a movie! "The Shawshank Redemption" is one of the best films I've ever seen. It's a little bit long, but it's totally worth it. Let me tell you all about it!The story is about this guy named Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. Andy is a really smart guy who used to be a banker. One day, he gets arrested for murdering his wife and her boyfriend, even though he says he didn't do it. The police don't believe him, and he gets sent to a tough prison called Shawshank. At first, Andy has a hard time in prison. The guards are mean, and the other inmates try to bully him. But Andy doesn't let them get him down. He's really good at staying calm and being patient. That's one of the things I really liked about Andy – no matter how bad things got, he never gave up hope.Andy becomes friends with an older prisoner named Red, played by Morgan Freeman. Red is really wise and has been in Shawshank for a long time. He knows all the tricks for getting things done in prison, like smuggling in goods from the outside world. One of the coolest things about the movie is how Andy comes up with a plan to escape from Shawshank. It's really clever and takes him years and years to set it up. I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say it involves tunneling through the prison walls and crawling through a really gross pipe! While Andy is working on his escape plan, he also does a lot of nice things for the other prisoners. He helps them get books for a little library, and he even gets them beer for a little prison party. Andy is such a cool guy – he never lets the mean guards and prisoners get him down. The movie has some really sad parts too. Andy's friends in prison get hurt or die, which made me cry a little bit. But even when things seem really bad, Andy never stops believing that one day he'll be free and have a good life again. Finally, after like 20 years in prison, Andy's escape plan works! He crawls through the gross pipe and escapes from Shawshank. It's such an exciting moment when he finally gets out and tastes freedom again. I was cheering for him!Andy goes to this beautiful beach in Mexico and lives like a free man again. His friend Red eventually gets out of prison too, and they reunite on the beach. It's such a happy ending!I think the main message of "The Shawshank Redemption" is that you should never give up hope, no matter how bad things seem. Andy went through so much suffering in prison, but he never stopped dreaming of being free again. His hope and patience are what helped him get through it all.The acting in the movie is amazing too. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are so good as Andy and Red. You really believe that they're best friends who would do anything for each other. The other actors who play the mean guards and prisoners are also really convincing. The movie is kind of old (it came out in 1994), but the story and messages are still really powerful today. I think kids and adults can both enjoy "The Shawshank Redemption" and learn something from it.So if you haven't seen this classic film yet, you totally should! Just make sure you have some tissues ready, because parts of itare really sad. But in the end, you'll feel so happy and inspired by Andy's journey. "The Shawshank Redemption" is a movie that will make you believe in hope, no matter what life throws at you.。

“肖申克的救赎”英文观后感No.3The Shawsha nk Redempti on“The Shawshank Redemption” is a movie about time, patienee and loyalty -- not sexy qualities, perhaps, but they grow on you duri ng the subterra nean progress of this story, which is about how two men serv ing life senten ees in pris on become frie nds and find a way to fight off despair. The story is narrated by “ Ree f Redding (Morgan Freeman) , who has bee n in side the walls of Shawsha nkPris on for a very long time and is its leading entrepreneur. He can get you whatever you need: cigarettes, candy, eve n a little rock pick like an amateur geologist might use. One day he and his fellow inmates watch the latest busload of prisoners unioad, and they make bets on who will cry duri ng their first ni ght in pris on, and who will not. Red bets on a tall, la nky guy n amed Andy Dufres ne (Tim Robb ins) , who looks like a babe in the woods. But Andy does not cry, and Red loses the cigarettes he wagered. Andy turns out to be a surprise to every one in Shawsha nk, because with in him is such a powerful reservoir of determ in ati on and stre ngth that nothing seemsto break him. Andy was a banker on the outside, and he's in for murder. He's appare ntly innocent, and there are all sorts of details inv olvi ng his case, but after a while they take on a kind of un reality; all that counts in side pris on is its own society -- who is strong, who is not -and the measured passage of time.Redis also a lifer. From time to time, measuring the decades, he goes up in front of the parole board, and they measure the len gth of his term (20 years, 30 years) and ask him if he thinks he has bee n rehabilitated.Oh, most surely, yes, he replies; but the fire goes out of his assurances as the years march past, and there is the sense that he has been institutionalized -- that, like another old lifer who kills himself afterbeing paroled, he can no Ion ger really env isi on life on the outside.Red's n arrati on of the story allows him to speak for all of the prisoners, who sense a fortitude and integrity in Andy that survives theyears. Andy will not kiss butt. He will not back down. But he is not violent, justformidably sure of himself. For the warden (Bob Gunton), he is both a challe nge and a resource; Andy knows all about bookkeep ing and tax preparation, and before long he's been movedout of his prison job in thelibrary and assigned to the warden's office, where he sits behind an adding machine and keeps tabs on the warden's ill-gotten gains. His fame spreads, and eve ntually he's doing the taxes and pension pla ns for most of the officials of the local pris on system. There are key momentsin the film, as when Andy uses his clout to get somecold beers for his friends who are working on a roofing job. Or when he befrie nds the old pris on libraria n (James Whitmore) 。

肖申克的救赎影评英文

肖申克的救赎影评英文

肖申克的救赎影评英文导语:肖申克的救赎影评英文I think this movie is very meaningful. Andy\'s demeanor and undeniable sense of hope causes Red to take a deeper look at himself, and the world around him. Andy proves to Red and the other inmates that in the conventional walls of Shawshank prison convention will find no home in his lifestyle. As far as I’m concerned, this movie shows us three things: freedom, friendship, and hope. If we take a movie as a novel, then is a great novel without doubt. It reflects the real social life, and creates severaltypical characters with Classic Quotes and a few kinds of modifications. That is like the freedomof our heart. We need it, just like you have never forgotten it.Another one is: “Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.A strong man can save himself. A great man can save another.” I like this sentence because it teaches me to let me full of courage and hopes. It urges me to have the determination to succeed. In the end, I want to use a sentence to summarize this movie: Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.。

After watching The Shawshank Redemption, there are many ideas in my mind. One idea is if Andy did not hear those remarks in Tommy, he would choose jailbreak or not.I think he would,The reason why Andy in Shawshank prison, is atonement for his own fault, because they do not receive proper care about his wife and lost her, as time passed by, Andy accept the fact he killed his wife, then seek forgiveness of his sinsWe have been in doubt with Andy’s crimes .many years have passed, in prison Andy has also have a good life.So we slowly forget the original doubtsTommy's emergence is a turning point, so that gradually sinking mystery suddenly surfacedWe all know Andy was innocent, Although he is wrong, the punishment is too harsh, Andy had already cleaned his sins, he was not belong thereAndy had been getting ready to leave since the moment he came inIt's quite right to say that:I have to remind myself that some birds aren’t meant to be caged.

‘Brooks was here’
Brooks’s hands were shaking slightly while he was carving, with a solemn look, in a western dress and lether shoes.
It was an old man who had stayed in prison for a few decades. Once he left the cage of prison, he chose to die instead of showing any happyness. Freedm and factual society seemed prison to him, just no walls. It was much more horrible than the prison with walls. He woke up in the midnight and was awake because of fear. Nobody gave him a guidance, no group he belonged to. He really had no way to adjust the strange and totally new world. When he was packaging in the supermarket, his fear could be find in every wrinkle. He was fading hopelessly. When he was sitting on the bench in the park, the loneliness was stronger than those grids iin the prison. His only wish was if the bird with freedom will come to have a look at the lonely old man.
I can’t believe it that this was the purpose of punishing a prisoner. Years ago, he might be leyond redemption. But, after a few decades,he was just a old man without abilities. When he was in the society which was decades away from that he knew, he can't adapt to it, filled with all kinds of new technology. At this moment, if you have the desire to walk into the film to comfort the old man? Wasn’t he the same age as our grandpas? He had no abilities to harm the society any more.
There is no doubt that when we watch the film The Shawshank Redemption, most of us are deeply impressed by Andy’s personal heroism. As a matter of fact, there is the first row in a classroom, and also the last row. All these seats must be filled with people. There are great men in the society, and also prisoners. Someone promote historical progress, and someone drag its heels. What we should do is to improve the level on the whole, rather than let everyone admire great men. After all, great men take up a pretty small part, so are heroes. It’s unrealistic to spend all the power to foster a hero. Because you need to satisfy others as well. So, it's better to let everyone try to make progress.
So I prefer to believe that the director aimed to encourage humanistic care in the way of telling heroism. He said, ‘Some birds are not meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright…’However, such birds are not common to see. There is only one The Shawshank Redemption in the world, or, you can say Prison Break as well. Yeah, ‘Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free. A stronger man save himself, a great man can save another.’ When Michael carried out it, he also showed an altitude that they were trying for inocence. If the law system was perfect as to no grievances, they wouldn’t exist. It is the society’s ignorance of this aspact that made them show up tragically. Just as there won’t be hate without reasons, no revolt without revolt.
I think that I will always cherish the memory of the sadness and loneliness when Brooks left the prison. That was a kind of silent struggle which was ignored by a group. Red and Brooks lived totally different lives with the same loneliness. I think that what made the difference was the power of hope. Andy was a representitive of the power of thoughts, an altitude of tenacious self-saving, a kind of struggle consciousness more than a great man of guidance. We don’t want to see the ‘wonder’created by the director became a swan song. So the film was spreaded for several decades. Everyone can experience the hope brought by the film. Everyone can save himself and others, if he wants to. At the end of the film, there was large area of blue sea which formed bright comparison with the depression in the prision. That was the most
shiny and cosy blue I have ever met. That was the colour of freedom. When you step over what you thought it was impossible, you will posses the beauty of the bloom in prosperous during your life.。
