新概念英语第一册讲义
新概念英语第一册讲义The journey of language learning often begins with the first step, and for many, that step is marked by the pagesof New Concept English Book 1. This venerable textbook, with its timeless lessons and classic examples, has served as a launching pad for countless English learners aroundthe globe. Its popularity is not just a testament to its enduring quality but also a reflection of the value itbrings to the learning process. The book's approach is both practical and systematic, focusing on the building blocks of language proficiency: vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. Each lesson is carefully crafted to introduce new concepts in a gradualand manageable manner, ensuring that students can build a solid foundation upon which to expand their language skills. The lessons are not just dry exercises; they are designedto engage the student's interest and imagination, makingthe learning process more enjoyable and less intimidating. The vocabulary lessons, for instance, are not justlists of words and their definitions. Instead, they present each word in the context of a sentence or a short paragraph, illustrating its meaning and usage. This approach helps students to understand not just the dictionary definitionof a word but also how it fits into the larger language landscape. Similarly, the grammar lessons are explained ina clear and concise manner, with examples that are easy to understand and apply. The practice exercises in the book are also animportant part of the learning process. They range from simple fill-in-the-blanks to more complex composition tasks, gradually increasing in difficulty as the student's proficiency grows. These exercises not only help to consolidate the knowledge learned in the lessons but also provide an opportunity for students to apply their newfound skills in practical situations.Beyond the basic language skills, New Concept English Book 1 also introduces students to the rich culturalcontext of English. The lessons often include references to British history, traditions, and way of life, providing a window into the culture that lies behind the language. This cultural insight is invaluable in helping students tounderstand and appreciate the nuances of the English language and its usage. The beauty of New Concept English Book 1 lies in its accessibility and adaptability. It can be used as a standalone textbook for beginners, or as a supplementary resource for more advanced learners. Its lessons are structured in such a way that they can be easily integrated into any language learning program, making it a versatile tool for teachers and students alike. In conclusion, New Concept English Book 1 is not just a textbook; it is a gateway to a world of language learning and cultural exploration. Its comprehensive approach, clear explanations, and engaging lessons make it an ideal choice for anyone embarking on the journey of English language proficiency. As students flip through its pages, they are not just learning a language; they are also embarking on a journey of discovery and personal growth.**探索新概念英语第一册:语言学习的基石**语言学习的旅程往往始于第一步,对许多人来说,这一步的标志是新概念英语第一册的篇章。

Who’s Paul’s new neighbour?

新概念英语diana胡金铭主讲第1册
新概念英语diana胡金铭主讲第1册全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Learning English with Diana's LessonsHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 3rd grader. I just started learning English this year and it's been such an exciting adventure! My teacher uses these really cool textbooks called "New Concept English" to teach our class. The books were written by this guy named L.G. Alexander a long time ago, but we watch video lessons taught by a lady named Diana Hu Jinming. She's awesome! In the first lesson, Diana introduced herself and explained that she would be our English teacher for Book 1. She has a very kind voice and smile. Diana said the New Concept English books are special because they use a "situational approach" to teaching. That means the lessons are like little stories about people's daily lives. By reading the stories, we learn vocabulary and grammar in context, just like native English speakers do when they are little kids. Isn't that neat?Diana walked us through the first story called "Pm Lesson." It was about a girl named Pat who was feeling lazy and didn't want to do her homework after school. Her mom got a little upset but then promised to help Pat with her studies later that evening. I understood most of the words but there were some new ones like "homework" and "arithmetic" that Diana stopped to explain. She's really good at defining things clearly so we can understand. As we worked through the stories, I could feel my English getting better and better! The stories are simple but so engaging. Like the one called "The Tobacco Story" about a man who wanted to stop smoking. Or "A Dreadful Accident" where a lady accidentally puts her bloomers (that's an old word for underpants!) in her friend's shopping basket. So embarrassing but hilarious! By lesson 12, I could read little narratives all by myself. What I really love are all the fun practice exercises and games Diana has us do. Like putting vocabulary words in alphabetical order, or filling in the blanks to complete sentences. Sometimes we split into teams and have competitions to see who can answer verbal questions the fastest. Diana makes everything into a game so learning never篇2My Exciting English Lessons with Teacher DianaHello everyone! My name is Lily and I am a primary school student here in China. I just started learning English this year and it has been such an amazing adventure! Our teacher for English class is Mrs. Diana Hu and she is simply the best. I want to tell you all about the fun and engaging way she teaches us using the New Concept English books. When I first walked into the English classroom on the first day of school, I was a little nervous. I had never studied English before and it seemed like such a difficult and strange language. But as soon as Teacher Diana greeted us with her warm smile, I felt instantly at ease. "Welcome, my dear students!" she said in both Chinese and English. "We are going to have so much fun learning English together."Teacher Diana started off slowly, introducing us to basic vocabulary words like colors, numbers, fruits, and classroom objects. Instead of just lecturing at us, she used a lot of visuals, games, songs, and interactive activities to make it easy to remember the words. We would point to pictures, toss a ball around the room and say the English word, or sing goofy little songs. It was all so lively and engaging!Once we had learned enough vocabulary, Teacher Diana began walking us through the dialogs and stories in our New Concept English Volume 1 textbooks. These lessons followed the daily lives and conversations of an American family - the Huangs.I really enjoyed listening to the recorded dialogs and trying to understand the context and meaning.Even though the situations were very simple, like asking for different foods or talking about household chores, I found them so fascinating. It was my first glimpse into American daily life and culture. Teacher Diana would go through the dialogs line-by-line, acting out the different roles with enthusiasm. We would repeat the phrases after her, practicing the pronunciation and intonation. After listening to the dialog, Teacher Diana would ask us lots of questions to make sure we understood the main idea and key details. She would have us identify the different speakers, explain what was happening, and pick out the new vocabulary words we had learned. I loved raising my hand to answer - it felt like unlocking piece by piece this mysterious English code. The stories included after the dialogs were my favorite part! They were such captivating little narratives, following the Huang family members as they went about their days. From a motherscolding her son for being rude to guests, to a boy losing his pet mouse at school, the stories always sparked my imagination and made me excited to know more.Teacher Diana would read the passages aloud in English, pausing occasionally to explain phrases or idioms we didn't know yet. We could all follow along in our textbooks too. Then we would take turns reading sections aloud practicing our pronunciation. I was a little shy about my English at first, but Teacher Diana was so patient and created such a warm, supportive environment. After reading the stories, we had to answer comprehension questions that challenged us to dig deeper into the vocabulary and events we had learned. Teacher Diana would put us into small groups and have us discuss and debate our answers with each other. I loved working collaboratively like this and seeing how my classmates interpreted things differently. At the end of each lesson, we did fun reinforcement games and activities related to the dialog and story. Sometimes we would do role-plays re-enacting the scenes as the different characters. Other times we would create posters, drawings, or diagrams to depict the key events visually. Teacher Diana alwaysfound such imaginative ways to cement what we had learned into our brains and make it stick. In just the first few months of English class, I have already learned sooo many words and grammar concepts through the New Concept English curriculum. From basic nouns and adjectives to present tenses and question formations, each new idea builds logically on the previous ones. The contexts of the stories and dialogs make it easy to understand how the words and patterns are used in real life. What I love most about Teacher Diana's approach is how she makes English feel so fun, engaging and alive - not just lists of vocabulary or rules to memorize. The characters in the stories feel like friends whose lives I am excited to follow week after week. Mrs. Diana Hu is so passionate about teaching too, always smiling and laughing with us as we practice together. I can't wait to continue my journey of exploring the English language through the New Concept English books. It truly has opened up a whole new world for me!Looking back, I can't believe how far I have come in just a short time. From barely knowing the English alphabet, to being able to read stories, answer comprehension questions, and engage in simple dialogue - all thanks to Mrs. Diana Hu'snurturing guidance. I feel like English is becoming second nature which once seemed like an impossible dream. I am so grateful for these wonderful lessons and am more excited than ever to keep learning. Who knows, maybe I'll be an English teacher like Mrs. Hu myself one day! But for now, I'm just a young student with so much more to discover. See you next week for our next adventure, class!篇3My Name is Lily and I'm in 5th Grade!I just started learning English this year and my teacher gave us this really cool book called "New Concept English" by Diana Hu Jinming. It's Volume 1 and I'm so excited to learn from it! The book is bright red and has a picture of Diana Hu Jinming on the cover. She looks really friendly. My teacher says Diana Hu Jinming is an expert at teaching English to Chinese students. She made these books to help us learn English in a simple but effective way. I can't wait to dive in!The first lesson was all about basic conversations. Like how to introduce yourself and ask someone's name. We learned sentences like "Hello, what's your name?" and "My name is Lily." Simple stuff but so important!Next we moved onto families. We learned words like mother, father, sister, brother, etc. I have one younger brother named Tommy so this lesson was extra helpful for me. Now I can tell my English friends all about my family. One of my favorite lessons so far was on colors. The book had all these bright, beautiful pictures to help us remember. My favorite color is purple so I definitely won't forget that one! We also learned colors like red, blue, green, yellow, and more.Another fun lesson covered numbers. We started with the basics like 1, 2, 3...all the way up to 20! I felt so accomplished counting that high in English. My teacher says we'll keep going higher as we progress through the book. Some of the other topics we've covered so far are animals, food, daily routines, and telling time. Everything is introduced slowly with lots of examples and practice conversations. Diana's writing is so clear and easy to understand. The best part is how the book tells little stories to make the lessons fun and memorable. My favorite one so far was about John going to the park and feeding the birds, squirrels, and fish. Picturing those scenes in my mind helps me remember all the animal words.Overall, I'm having a blast learning English from Diana's book! My teacher is so patient and makes sure we all understand before moving ahead. She says we'll keep working our way through Volume 1 this year.I feel like I'm picking up so much practical English for daily life. Pretty soon I'll be able to read kids' books, watch cartoons, and hopefully make some English-speaking friends! Who knows, maybe I'll even travel to an English-speaking country someday. For now, I'm just really grateful to have such an engaging, well-designed book to learn from. Diana Hu Jinming did an amazing job putting it all together. Volume 1 is the perfect start for young learners like me. Once I finish it, I'll be so eager to continue my English journey with Volume 2!I'd recommend "New Concept English" to any kid wanting a solid foundation. The lessons are fun, the stories are delightful, and Diana Hu Jinming's expertise shines through on every page. Wo xihuan Yingyu! (That means "I love English!" in Chinese.) Thanks Diana!篇4My Favorite English BookHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 8 years old. I just started learning English this year in school and it's been really fun so far. My favorite part about English class is our textbook - it's called "New Concept English" and it was written by this really nice Chinese teacher named Diana Hu Jinming. The book is bright red and has a picture of a bird on the front cover. I think the bird is supposed to be learning English too, just like me! When I first got the book, I was a little nervous because I didn't know any English at all. But my teacher said "Don't worry, this book will teach you everything you need to know. Just listen carefully and practice a lot." And she was right! The first few lessons started off really easy. We learned simple words like "book", "pen", "chair", and how to say "Hello, how are you?" I practiced saying all the new words over and over again until I had them memorized. My mom and dad even helped me go through the lessons at home. Pretty soon, I could recognize all the vocabulary words just by looking at the pictures. But then the lessons started getting a little harder. We had to start putting the words together into sentences and learning verb tenses like "is" and "was." That's when I realized English has way more grammar rules than Chinese! Like why do we say "Iam" but "you are"? So weird! I got pretty mixed up in the beginning trying to remember all the different verb conjugations.Thankfully, the textbook has really clear explanations and lots of examples for each new grammar point. Whenever I got confused, I could just re-read the explanations and practice the examples over and over until I got it. The book also has tons of practice exercises at the end of each lesson, so I got plenty of chances to drill the concepts. My favorite part of the book is all the cute story passages and dialogues. The stories are really engaging and have funny characters like an owl, a squirrel, and a naughty little boy named Bobs. As I learned more vocabulary and grammar, I could slowly understand more and more of the story lines. It felt so rewarding to finally comprehend an entire passage after working so hard on the vocabulary and sentence structures! The dialogues are also super useful for learning practical English conversation. They teach you how to greet people, introduce yourself, talk about your family, describe objects, and more. My teacher has us practice the dialogues by role-playing with partners, which is a little embarrassing at first but really helps cement the language patterns. Thanks to all that practice, Ican now easily have basic back-and-forth conversations in English!Overall, I absolutely love this New Concept English book. The lessons are clearly organized from easy to hard, with constant practice and review to hammer in the concepts. The vocabulary lists are varied and interesting, the grammar explanations make sense, and the stories and dialogues are fun ways to apply what I've learned. More than anything, this book has made me feel confident and capable when it comes to understanding and speaking English.I may only be in Volume 1 right now, but I can't wait to continue working my way through all the other volumes in this series. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be an English expert just like Diana Hu Jinming! For any other kids out there struggling to pick up a new language, I highly recommend checking out New Concept English. You'll be speaking like a pro before you know it! Thanks for reading my essay - gotta run, time for English class!篇5My New English BookHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you about the new English book I just got. It's called "New Concept English" and it's writtenby this really awesome teacher named Diana Hu Jinming. I just started learning from Book 1 and I already love it!The book is really colorful and has lots of fun pictures. On the very first page, there's a big picture of a happy family waving hello. The mom, dad, boy, and girl all have big smiles on their faces. I think they must be really excited to start learning English too! Each lesson in the book has a cute little story about the family. The first story is about the dad, John, and what he does for work. It turns out he's a doctor! How cool is that? The story uses really simple words that I can understand like "doctor", "hospital", and "help". Even though the words are easy, the stories are still really interesting. After the story, there are vocabulary words to learn related to the topic. For the doctor story, some of the new words are "nurse", "illness", and "patient". The book shows pictures for each word to help me remember what they mean. My favorite way to practice is by quizzing my parents and having them try to guess the words from the pictures! Then there are exercises for practicing grammar, like putting words in the right order to make sentences. These exercises aren't too hard, which makes me feel really confident. And myteacher Diana gives lots of examples and explanations so I understand what I'm learning. One of the coolest parts are the language practice sections. In these, Diana uses funny jokes, rhymes, and chants to help me practice speaking English. Like for the doctor lesson, there's a rhyme that goes:"A nurse for a purse,A doctor for a scoffer.Which will you have for your fever?I'll take the doctor!"Isn't that cute? I love reciting these out loud and doing all the funny gestures and movements that go along with them. It makes learning English feel more like a game than hard work. What I like best about Diana's book though, is how encouraging and supportive she sounds. At the end of each lesson, she gives me a sweet little message of praise and motivation. Things like "Well done! You're making excellent progress." Or, "Keep working hard and I know you'll master English easily."With such a kind and patient teacher, I feel like learning this new language won't be too difficult after all. Whenever I get frustrated or stuck, I can just reread Diana's words of wisdom and it puts me in a positive mindset again.I'm only a few lessons in so far, but New Concept English is quickly becoming my favorite book. The simple stories and vocabulary are perfect for my level. The exercises give me just the right amount of practice without being overwhelming. And Diana's supportive teaching style makes me excited to keep learning.I can't wait to continue my journey through Book 1 and then on to all the other books in the series. Who knows, maybe by the time I finish, I'll be almost as good at English as Diana herself! But for now, I'm just taking it one lesson at a time and having tons of fun along the way. Thanks Diana!篇6My New English TextbookI was so excited when my mom brought home the new English textbook for me - it's called "New Concept English" by L.G. Alexander. I've heard the older students at school talk abouthow good this book series is for really learning English properly. Finally, I get to use the famous "New Concept English" too!The book looks pretty plain on the outside, it's just a navy blue cover with the title in yellow text. But I know they say you can't judge a book by its cover. Inside is where the real treasure is! On the very first page, there's a letter from the author, L.G. Alexander. He explains that this book teaches "a new concept" of how to properly learn English through practice and repetition. I'm not totally sure what that means yet, but I'm eager to find out.The first lesson is all about verb tenses - present, past and future. The examples use really simple sentences like "He works in an office" and "They watched TV last night." I already know a lot of these from my previous English classes, but I can tell the lessons are going to build up step-by-step. Mr. Alexander's method must get more advanced as the book goes on.What I like already is how everything is explained clearly in English, with just a few annotations in Chinese if I need them. The exercises have me putting the sentences into the right tenses and filling in blanks. At first I thought it seemed too easy, but Mr. Alexander does remind students to "take pains" and not rush through sloppily. Slow and steady practice is the way to mastery.By Lesson 10, I've covered present continuous tense, past tenses, future tenses, and different types of verbs like stative verbs. The sentences are still simple, but I'm using more vocabulary and there are notes explaining grammar concepts. Like how we use present continuous for temporary actions, but simple present for permanent states. Fascinating little details I never knew before!Around Lesson 20, I'm working with conditionals, reported speech, questions, and negatives. Now the example sentences are more complex and varied. Things like "He said that if it rained the next day, the match would be cancelled." See, not just "I am happy" anymore! I have to practice transforming these longer sentences, e.g. changing a conditional to reported speech. It's tricky at first, but that's why we have to do all the exercises, over and over. Repetition, repetition, as Mr. Alexander emphasizes.Midway through the book, I'm feeling more and more comfortable using all these foundational English grammar patterns. Lessons in the 30s and 40s cover topics like modals, passive voice, infinitives, and gerunds. Honestly, before this book I didn't even know what some of those terms meant! Like what's the difference between "I am going to Beijing" and "I am goingto go to Beijing"? Simple examples at the start helped me see the difference, before working through tons of practice sentences. What also helps are all the beautiful drawings and photos accompanying the lessons. Like a cute picture of a dog for sentences about pets. Or an image of kids playing baseball for practice about sports. The visuals make it more fun and help me remember the language.I have to admit, around three-quarters of the way through, some of these lessons can feel quite dense and repetitive. Lesson 60 on verb patterns, Lesson 65 on nominals, Lesson 70 on compound sentences - it's getting challenging! But Mr. Alexander reminds me in his notes that "obedient persistence" is key. I'm developing the habit of using good, grammatical English. My parents are so impressed with my progress too. The other day, my dad asked me a question and I automatically answered using reported speech - "My teacher said that if we don't submit our homework on time, we won't get good grades." He looked surprised and told me my English has really improved. Thanks, Mr. Alexander! Now I'm towards the last couple dozen lessons, which pull everything together. Lessons on articulation, inversion, emphasis, formality. Long exercises to show I've truly mastered English grammar. I have to be careful not to make silly mistakes after all this hard work! Finally, I've reached the very last lesson - number 90 on idioms and proverbs. Pieces of advice and wisdom like "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched." How fun to culminate with learning these quirky English sayings! The exercises ask me to rephrase the idioms and discuss their meaning. A terrific way to apply my skills with higher-level vocabulary and phrasing. As I work through that final lesson, I feel a sense of accomplishment. Who knew that plain blue book would turn out to be such an incredible journey? I've gone from simple sentences to complex grammar, from basic vocabulary to sophisticated idioms. All thanks to the "obedient persistence" Mr. Alexander prescribed. In his last few notes to students, he reminds us that we've only mastered the "primary" stage of English. There's still so much more writing, speaking, and literature to explore as we continue our studies. But Mr. Alexander's New Concept English has given me a rock solid foundation. A new concept for learningindeed! I'll always be grateful for this special book that taught me to truly think in English.。

Activity: I do, you say
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again.
