本节课是一节读写结合课，阅读材料是一篇关于Mark的间隔年游记，通过对Mark间隔年游记的学习,了解间隔年的内容，输入写作所需信息，以读促写，以此来培养学生收集整理信息以及传递信息的能力，进而提高学生的写作能力。
二、学情分析授课班级此时处于高一下学期，他们正处于英语知识、阅读和写作技能积累的基础阶段，在课堂上基本能够根据教师的指示完成相关活动。
不过本班学生普遍缺乏自信，不敢大胆表现自己，不敢张口说英语，英语程度层次不齐。
所以除了自主学习以外，两人一组以及四人一组活动是必不可少。
为了降低写作难度，在讲解写作技巧时候，运用白板遮盖功能，直接在范例上呈现出写作要点以及结构。
并且在文本学习时，要求学生画出一些表达方式，并要求他们运用在自己的作文中，帮助学生轻松写作。
三、教学目标根据新课标要求英语学习既是学生逐步掌握知识和技能，提高语言实际运用能力的过程；又是他们开发思维能力的过程这一要求，将本节课的教学目标确定为：1. 知识与技能目标①提高语篇理解能力，通过查读把握文章细节信息及其重点句型和表达方式；②正确运用间隔年游记的写作技巧，综合运用英语进行书面表达。
2. 过程与方法目标①在培养学生发散思维能力的同时，提高其写间隔年游记的写作能力；②通过寻读活动，训练学生的阅读微技能；③在小组合作互动中，增强团体协作意识。
