步行穿过丛林英语作文

步行穿过丛林英语作文

步行穿过丛林英语作文Walking through the jungle is an adventure that offers a unique blend of excitement and tranquility. The dense foliage and the symphony of nature's sounds create an atmosphere that is both enchanting and humbling. Here's a composition that captures the essence of such an experience:Journeying Through the Jungle: An Adventure of DiscoveryAs the first rays of sunlight pierced through the canopy, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor, I embarked on a journey that would take me deep into the heart of the jungle. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and the promise of adventure. The path was not clearly marked, but the sounds of the jungle guided me. The rustling leaves whispered secrets of the flora and fauna that thrived in this untouched paradise. Each step was a dance with the unknown, as I navigated the tangled roots and slippery stones. The jungle was alive with a cacophony of sounds. Birds chirped melodious tunes, monkeys chattered in the distance, and the occasional rustle in the underbrush hinted at unseen creatures. The symphony of life was a constant reminder of the jungle's vibrant ecosystem. As I ventured further, the sunlight became a precious commodity, filtered through the dense foliage above. The jungle floor was a mosaic of greens, with ferns and mosses thriving in the shade. The occasional splash of color from a blooming flower was a welcome sight amidst the verdant backdrop. The journey was not without its challenges. The humidity was oppressive, and the mosquitoes were relentless. Yet, the beauty of the jungle was a reward in itself. The sight of a waterfall cascading into a crystal-clear pool, or the sight of a family of deer grazing peacefully, made every discomfort worthwhile. As the day drew to a close, the jungle transformed into a different world. The nocturnal creatures began their nightly rituals, and the calls of the owls and the howls of the wolves echoed through the night. The stars shone brightly above, and the jungle seemed to come alive under their watchful gaze. The walk through the jungle was more than just a physical journey; it was a journey of the soul. It was a reminder of the interconnectedness of life and the importance of preserving the natural world. As I made my way back to the edge of the jungle, I carried with me the memories of a place that was wild, beautiful, and full of life. This composition is a narrative of a personal experience, capturing the sensory details and emotional impact of walking through a jungle. It encourages readers to appreciate the natural world and the adventure that comes with exploring it.。

I live in a very old town which is surrounded by beautiful woods. It is a famous beauty spot. On Sundays, hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods. Visitors have been asked to keep the woods clean and tidy. Litter baskets have been placed under the trees, but people still throw their rubbish everywhere. Last Wednesday, I went for a walk in the woods. What I saw made me very sad. I counted seven old cars and three old refrigerators. The little baskets were empty and the ground was covered with pieces of paper, cigarette ends, old tyres, empty bottles and rusty tins. Among the rubbish, I found a sign which said, 'Anyone who leaves litter in these woods will be prosecuted!'

林中散步用英语作文

林中散步用英语作文

林中散步用英语作文As I walk through the serene forest, the gentle breeze caresses my face, carrying the scent of the verdant foliage. The sun's rays filter through the canopy of lush trees, casting a warm glow upon the earth below. The sound of rustling leaves and the melodic chirpingof birds create a soothing symphony that captivates my senses. The path before me winds through the dense undergrowth, inviting me to explore the hidden wonders of this enchanting realm. Each step I take is accompanied by the crunch of fallen twigs and the soft cushion of the forest floor, a tactile reminder of the natural world that surrounds me.As I venture deeper into the forest, the towering trees seem to stand as silent sentinels, their branches reaching towards the sky like outstretched arms. The diversity of plant life is astounding, with ferns, mosses, and wildflowers adorning the landscape in a vibrant tapestry of colors and textures.Occasionally, I catch a glimpse of the elusive wildlife that call this forest home. A squirrel scurries up a nearby trunk, its bushy tail swishing with agility. A butterfly, its delicate wings fluttering in thebreeze, dances from flower to flower, its iridescent beauty captivating my gaze. The air is filled with a serene tranquility, a sense of timelessness that seems to slow the passage of time. I find myself slowing my pace, savoring each moment, and allowing my senses to fully immerse in the beauty that surrounds me.As I wander along the winding path, I am struck by the sense of interconnectedness that pervades this forest ecosystem. The trees, the plants, the animals, and the very soil beneath my feet all coexist in a delicate balance, each playing a vital role in the intricate web of life.I pause to admire the intricate patterns of the tree bark, the mosaic of greens and browns that seem to tell the story of the tree's life. The gnarled roots that protrude from the earth serve as a reminder of the resilience and strength that lies within this natural world.Occasionally, I come across fallen trees, their once-mighty trunks now providing a home for a new generation of life. Mosses and fungi cling to the decaying wood, transforming it into a rich source of nutrients that nourish the surrounding vegetation. As I continue my journey, I am struck by the sense of timelessnessthat pervades the forest. These trees have stood witness to the passing of countless seasons, their silent presence a testament to the enduring power of nature. In this serene and tranquil setting, I find myself shedding the stresses and worries of the outside world. The forest's embrace envelops me, offering a respite from the demands of daily life. I feel a sense of peace and renewal wash over me, as if the forest itself is replenishing my spirit. The longer I linger in this enchanting realm, the more I come to appreciate the intricate web of life that sustains it. Every living creature, every plant, and every element of the soil plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of this ecosystem. As I reluctantly prepare to depart, I take one last look around, committing the sights, sounds, and scents of the forest to memory. I know that I will carry this experience with me, a reminder of the beauty and wonder that can be found in the natural world. In the end, my walk through the forest has left an indelible mark on my soul. It has reminded me of the importance of connection, of slowing down, and of appreciating the beauty that surrounds us, even in the most seemingly ordinary of places. As I step back onto the path that leads me out of the forest, I feel a renewed sense ofgratitude and a deep appreciation for the gift of this natural sanctuary.。

在森林中漫步的英语作文

在森林中漫步的英语作文

在森林中漫步的英语作文Taking a Stroll in the Forest。

As a nature lover, I always find myself drawn to the beauty of the forest. There is something magical about the way the sunlight filters through the trees, the rustling of leaves underfoot, and the chirping of birds in the distance. It's a place where I can escape the hustle and bustle ofthe city and immerse myself in the tranquility of nature. One of my favorite things to do is to take a stroll in the forest. It's a simple activity, but it's one that never fails to bring me joy. I love to wander along the dirt paths, taking in the sights and sounds of the forest around me. Sometimes I'll bring a book or a sketchbook with me and find a quiet spot to sit and read or draw. Other times,I'll simply walk and let my mind wander. One of the things I love most about the forest is the way it changes with the seasons. In the spring, the forestis alive with new growth and vibrant colors. Flowers bloom, birds sing, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of blossoms. In the summer, the forest is lush and green, and the shade of the trees provides a welcome respite from the heat. In the fall, the leaves turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow, and the forest floor is covered in a carpet of fallen leaves. And in the winter, the forest is quiet and still, with snow covering the ground and the trees standing tall and bare against the sky.No matter what season it is, there is always something to discover in the forest. I've spotted deer and foxes, watched birds building nests, and even stumbled upon hidden streams and waterfalls. Each time I visit, I feel like I'm discovering a new part of the forest, even though I've been there countless times before.Taking a stroll in the forest is not only a great way to connect with nature, but it's also good for the soul. It's a chance to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us, to breathe in fresh air and clear our minds. It's a reminder that there is more to life than the hustle andbustle of our daily routines, and that sometimes the simplest pleasures are the most meaningful. In conclusion, taking a stroll in the forest is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the natural world. It's a chance to escape the stresses of daily life and connect with the beauty around us. So the next time you're feeling overwhelmed or in need of some fresh air, why not take a stroll in the forest? You might be surprised at how much it can do for your well-being.。

英语散文:A Walk In The Woods(林中漫步)

英语散文:A Walk In The Woods(林中漫步)

英语散文:A Walk In The Woods(林中漫步)I was puzzled! Why was this old woman making such a fuss about an old copse which was of no use to anybody? She had written letters to the local paper, even to a national, protesting about a projected by-pass to her village, and, looking at a map, the route was nowhere near where she lived and it wasn't as if the area was attractive. I was more than puzzled, I was intrigued. The enquiry into the route of the new by-pass to the village was due to take place shortly, and I wanted to know what it was that motivated her. So it was that I found myself knocking on a cottage door, being received by Mary Smith and then being taken for a walk to the woods."I've always loved this place", she said, "it has a lot of memories for me, and for others. We all used it. They called it 'Lovers lane'. It's not much of a lane, and it doesn't go anywhere important, but that's why we all came here. To be away from people, to be by ourselves " she added. It was indeed pleasant that day and the songs of many birds could be heard. Squirrels gazed from the branches, quite bold in their movements, obviously few people passed this way and they had nothing to fear. I could imagine the noise of vehicles passing through these peaceful woods when the by-pass was built, so I felt that she probably had something there but as I hold strong opinions about the needs of the community over-riding the opinions of private individuals, I said nothing. The village was quite a dangerous place because of the traffic especially for old people and children, their safety was more important to me than an old woman's whims."Take this tree", she said pausing after a short while. "To you it is just that, a tree. Not unlike many others here". She gently touched the bark. "Look here, under this branch, what can you see?""It looks as if someone has done a bit of carving with a knife" I said after a cursory inspection."Yes, that's what it is!" she said softly. "There are letters and a lover's heart".I looked again, this time more carefully. The heart was still there and there was a suggestion of an arrow through it. The letters on one side were indistinct, but on the other an 'R' was clearly visible with what looked like an 'I' after it. "Some budding romance?" I asked, "did you know who they were?""Oh yes, I knew them", said Mary Smith, "it says RH loves MS".I realised that I could be getting out of my depth, and longed to be in my office, away from here and this old lady, snug, and with a mug of tea in my hand. She went on …"He had a penknife with a spike for getting stones from a horse's hoof, and I helped him to carve my initials. We were very much in love, but he was going away, and could not tell me what he was involved in the army. I had guessed of course. It was the last evening we ever spent together, because he went away the next day, back to his Unit. "Mary Smith was quiet for a while, then she sobbed. "His mother showed me the telegram. 'Sergeant R Holmes ….. Killed in action in the 9)invasion of France'"."'I had hoped that you and Robin would one day get married" she said, "He was my only child, and I would have loved to be a Granny, they would have been such lovely babies'- she was like that! ""Two years later she too was dead. 'Pneumonia, following a chill on the chest' was what the doctor said, but I think it was an old fashioned broken heart. A child would have helped both ofus."There was a further pause. Mary Smith gently caressed the wounded tree, just as she would have caressed him. "And now they want to take our tree away from me." Another quiet sob, then she turned to me. "I was young and pretty then, I could have had anybody, I wasn't always the old woman you see here now. I had everything I wanted in life, a lovely man, health and a future to look forwards to".She paused again and looked around. The breeze gently moved through the leaves with a sighing sound. "There were others, of course, but not a patch on my Robin!" she said strongly. "And now I have nothing - except the memories this tree holds. If only I could get my hands on that awful man who writes in the paper about the value of the road they are going to build where we are standing now, I would tell him. Has he never loved, has he never lived, does he not know anything about memories? We were not the only ones, you know, I still meet some who came here as Robin and I did. Yes, I would tell him!"I turned away, sick at heart.

Writing from ReadingThe first step when you write from what you read is to be sure you understand what you have read. To ensure your understanding, you should be an active reader. This means that you should read more than once with a different purpose each time, you should ask questions before, during, and after you read, and you should make notes as you read.Once you have read actively, you will be prepared to write in a number of different ways. You will be able to summarize what you have read. That means you are accurately re-telling the author's main ideas in your own words. A summary also gives the major supporting details the author has used to support the main ideas. Once again though, summaries are written in YOUR words not the author's words.Another method of writing about what you have read is to respond to the reading. When you respond to a reading, you pick out a particular point or idea that the author has made and then brainstorm to develop your own ideas based on the author's thought. Unlike summarizing, you are generating your own ideas based on the author's original thought.Rather than generating a new idea, you may also choose to respond to an idea in the reading. You may agree or disagree with a point the author has made. In your writing, you will explain why you agree or disagree with that point. Once again, you are coming up with your own reasoning and your own wording in response to something you have read.A particular type of writing you will be required to do is writing answers to essay tests. Essay test questions often ask you to read material and then either summarize the material or respond to it in a particular way. The one thing that makes essay test writing different from other writing situations is the time limit. In a testing situation you will carefully monitor your use of time and you won't put all of the polishing touches in that you would if you had unlimited time to complete the writing. These are some of the ways you can tie the material that you read to the material you write. You will find that if you follow the advice given in this chapter that you will never be at a loss for a topic to write about.Speak out Your LoveThere was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can’t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?”She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there. He said, “Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD.”He picked one out and gave her money for it.“Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again. He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn’t. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store as usual. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn’t looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...RRRRRING!!!One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?”It was the girl!!! The mother started to cry and said, “You don’t know? He passed away yesterday...”The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy’s mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy’s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would sta rt by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all these CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn. The mother was deeply moved and opened another CD...Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.Love is... when you’ve had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You.”从前,有一个少年患了癌症,根本无法治愈。
