“皖南八校”高三第二次联考读后续写--偶遇流浪汉参考范文五篇

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

The city circle was quiet when my van pulled up to Two's pany cafe. It was 8:00 A.M.,and the momandpop businesses wouldn't be open for another three hours. As the film crew of student moviemakers hopped out of the van and started unloading a ton of equipment,I sat in the driver's seat reading a book.I learned a long time ago that I was not wanted or needed on the set.Sometimes, that made me feel a bit sad. These kids used to need a parent's advice, help and caring. Now,as older teens, they were making their own decisions, helping each other and supporting their friends through whatever assignments they were given.Emptied of its movierelated contents, the van now became the place to leave personal items. My job, as the driver, was to stay within calling distance with the keys so that if anything was needed I could open the van, Knowing that I could crawl(爬行)into a corner somewhere and finish reading the book that a friend asked me to critique, I looked for a place to sit down. Against a wall, in the shade, just twenty or so paces away, I spied a beautifully carved park bench.I noticed that a man was sitting on one end, but there was plenty of room for at least two more bodies.Walking over, I set my drink on the ground near the leg of the bench and sat on the end seat so that I could rest my elbow(肘) on the arm. The man on the other end looked at me oddly but remained seated.I quickly discovered that he'd probably spent the night on the bench. His clothes were untidy, his hair was messy, and I was soon confronted(使.…面对)with a strong and very unpleasant smell of body sweat. I looked at him and smiled, and he smiled back with a mouth of misshapen and blackedout teeth. That was it. He wasn't bothering me, and I guessed I wasn't bothering him. We both sat there for over an hour. I was reading. He was intently watching the filming.第一段:He then stood.__________第二段:I was shocked.___________Possible versions:1.第一段:He then stood up, stretching his limbs in a way that suggested he hadn’t moved in hours. I couldn't help but watch as he cautiously approached the film crew, his hesitant steps betraying a mix of curiosity and shyness. Thestudents seemed too absorbed in their work to notice him at first, but as he inched closer, one of the teens looked up. I expected a look of annoyance or disfort, yet what came was a warm smile and a greeting. Surprisingly, they began to chat, and the man's guarded manner seemed to melt away with the attention and kindness being shown to him. It was a small interaction, but it spoke volumes about the passionate spirit these young adults possessed.第二段:I was shocked by how easily the man blended into the scene. It was as though he transformed from an overlooked stranger to an appreciated observer in an instant. One of the students even handed him a spare headset so he could listen in. As they continued filming, I marveled at how this man's ragged appearance stood out against the backdrop of youthful energy and creativity. His face, once tired and lined with the hardships of life, now displayed a look of genuine interest and enjoyment. This unexpected connection between him and the students was a beautiful reminder that, despite our differences, there is a shared humanity that can bring us together in the most unexpected places.2.第一段:He then stood up abruptly, his movements catching my attention. I closed my book, curious about what he was going to do next. To my surprise, he began picking up small pieces of trash scattered(散落) around the park. His actions were deliberate and careful, as if he was tending to his own garden. I watched him move around the bench, his untidy appearance contrasting sharply with the thorough care he was giving to the environment. It struck me then that everyone, regardless of their situation, has a story and a capacity to contribute in their own way. His dedication to cleaning up the area, despite his apparent hardships, was both humbling and inspiring.第二段:I was shocked when he suddenly approached me and handed me a small, crumpled piece of paper. Hesitantly, I opened it, revealing a crudely drawn map of the park with a big X marked at a particular spot. He pointed towards a nearby bush and nodded encouragingly. Interested, I stood up and walked over to the location. There, hidden among the leaves, was a small, beautifully painted rock with the words "Keep Smiling" carved on it. I realized then that this man, who seemed to have so little, had chosen to share a piece of joy with a stranger. This unexpected gesture of kindness from someone who appeared to have so little, yet gave so much, deeply touched my heart.3.He then stood. As he did, he stretched his arms out wide and yawned loudly. I noticed his ragged clothes and worn shoes as he moved. He leaned down to pickup a old worn suitcase that had been sitting by his feet, hidden from my view. With the case in hand, he drifted away slowly, heading towards the nearby park. I watched him go, wondering about his life and situation. Where was he headed on this sunny morning? Did he have a place to stay tonight? My heart ached for this stranger.I was shocked when he suddenly turned and came walking back in my direction. He stopped right in front of me and set his case down. From his pocket he pulled out a crumpled one dollar bill. "Get yourself something nice," he said in a rough voice as he held the money out towards me. I hesitated before taking the offering with a quiet "thank you." With a nod and toothless grin, he lifted his case and turned away again. I looked down at the dollar in my hand, overwhelmed. It wasn't the amount that moved me, but the kindness behind it. I saw past the dirt and nasty smell to the heart of the man. Though he had little, he wanted to give me something. This small act was a gift I would never forget.4.He then stood. “May I sit next to you, ma’am?” he asked respectfully.I hesitated briefly, but then moved aside and nodded. He sat down, careful not to e too close. We were silent for a while until he suddenly spoke. “My life hasn’t always been this way,” he said quietly, eyes down. “I made some bad choices when I was younger. Now I’m trying to get back on my feet.” I saw the sadness in his face and felt passion well up within me. “It’s never too late for a new beginning,” I said gently. He gave me a grateful look. We sat without speaking again, two strangers on a bench finding a moment of human connection.I was shocked when the director suddenly called “Cut!” and the filming stopped. The "homeless man" instantly straightened up and walked over to review the footage (镜头)with the crew. He wasn't really homeless after all, but an actor they'd hired for the student film. They all looked over at me and laughed at my obvious surprise. I had to laugh too when I realized the joke was on me. Still, I was thankful for those moments on the bench which reminded me that we all have stories and struggles, and sometimes all we need is someone to listen without judgment. My small act of passion toward a "homeless man" turned out to be the best scene in the students' little film.5.第一段:He then stood. As he started to walk away, I noticed a crumpled(皱巴巴的)paper bag lying on the ground where he had been sitting. He stopped,。

This theory had been widely accepted by scientists. But one question remains: how do these animals manage to do that? After more than 150 years, scientists are finally able to answer that question-it is all down to a gene (基因) called “doublesex", according to a study published on March 6 in the journal Nature. In fact, scientists have long known that genes are responsible for this useful ability. But until the new study, scientists hadn't been able to find out which genes in particular were responsible.Scientists at the University of Chicago compared the genetic structures of the Common Mormons that changed their wing patterns with those of ones that did not. And all the results pointed to a single gene, “doublesex”.This was much to the scientists' surprise. They used to expect that something as complex as this would be controlled by many different genes. For example, one gene would control the color of the upper part of the wing, one would do so for the lower part. However, the “doublesex” gene doesn't quite do everything by itself. Instead, it acts like a switch-it “tells” other genes to change the wing patterns. Isn't that clever?Scientists believe that this special ability of the “doublesex” gen e on Common Mormon was developed throughout the long history of evolution. “The harmless species gains an advantage by resembling something predators (捕食者) avoid,”Sean Carroll, a scientist told Nature. “it was obvious evidence for natural selection. ”33. What genetic structures of butterflies have第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)How to prepare for exam? Here are some tips you can read with your child. The first step in preparing for examination is to set a fixed time each day to study and a schedule to say when to start the revision and for which subject. The plan should include how many chapters to revise and how many worksheets to work on. 36 . Parents who do not know the examination time schedule can search 'exam timetable' to see the official examination schedule. 37 .The second thing is to decide on the place to study. Some need total silence in a library before they can concentrate while others like to have some background music like in the cafeteria. 38 . So there is no need to tell your child to change the study place if he is producing the desired results.39 . For lessons, pupils must participate in lessons and discussions actively. For exercise, work on the simple ones in the textbook. For theory, pupils can use the mind map method to summarize the facts. At last, study smart. Focus on chapters that are the core of the subject or difficult chapters. 40 。
