教学中,我通过创设情境、互动交流、动手演示和操作,激发学生的主体性,使学生的主动性、积极性、创造性得以体现。
使学生们能够快乐地投入其中,运用所学知识参与更深层次的学习,师生一起构建新的.知识体系。
通过师生之间、学生之间的语言交流、思维碰撞、情感互动,来达到这节课的教学目标。
1、由于充分利用师生生活背景,拓展、重建课程内容,把原有的教材内容作了扩充,使教学内容更符合学生的兴趣爱好,学生们通过运用自己的五种感官,在不知不觉中巩固了教学重点。
由于教学活动是学生们感兴趣的,所以教学效果比较明显。

Use your five senses教学设计一、教材分析上海教育出版社、牛津大学出版社小学《牛津英语》5B Module 1 Unit 4《Use your five senses》。
本节课运用的教学方法是“小学英语多维互动教学法”。
本教学法系笔者在有关专家的指导下,结合自己多年的教学经验总结、整理而成。
“小学英语多维互动教学”是指在小学英语教学过程中,两个或两个以上的教学主体,主要借助于英语这个手段,积极主动地进行语言、思维、情感、态度、行为方式等多维度的相互作用、相互影响,旨在努力促进学生综合语言运用能力发展的教学活动。
本节课围绕着“五官”这个话题,通过创设情境、互动交流、动手演示和操作,激发学生的主体性,使学生的主动性、积极性、创造性得以体现。
使学生们能够快乐地投入其中,运用所学知识参与更深层次的学习,师生一起构建新的知识体系。
通过师生之间、学生之间的语言交流、思维碰撞、情感互动,来达到这节课的教学目标。
二、教学目标1. 掌握重点句型I do something with ____。
2. 运用重点句型,联系生活中遇到的事情,来表达自己的意愿和情感。
3. 正确运用已有知识和经验来解决生活中的问题,从而提高综合运用英语的能力。
4. 培养关心残疾人、乐于助人的好品质。
三、教学重点重点句:I hear with my ears. I smell with my nose. I look with my eyes. I touch with my hands. I taste with my tongue.利用重点句型I do something with my____.表达自己的想法,用英语知识和个人经验来解决生活中的问题。
四、教学难点学生通过观察和动手操作之后,利用知识积累和生活经验,清楚完整地表达自己的观点。
五、教学准备本课教学内容比较少,为了让学生充分利用语言材料,教师必须寻找其他教学资源,为他们创设一定的情境。
出于这方面考虑,笔者在进行教学设计时突破了教材内容,从师生生活背景入手,深入开发课程资源,合理地拓展、重建了教材内容。
并在课前与学生进行语言交流、思维碰撞的过程中,了解学生的知识需求,把那些受学生欢迎的、贴近生活的课程资源开发出来。
例如,在备课时,笔者就把与五官有关的活动(包括观察、比较、动手操作等)融入到了教学活动中。
除进行合理预设外,还根据所掌握的学情,对教学过程中可能生成新话题的地方进行了一定的准备。
本节课使用的教具主要有:实物(桔子、手套、巧克力、铃铛等)、五种液体(醋、牛奶、糖水、温水、盐水)。
六、教学过程1、Warm upReview five senses: eyes ,ears, nose, hands, tongue.T:Touch your eyes/ears/…要求学生按照老师的指令快速做出反应,指出五种感官。
【在快节奏的反复练习中,既通过热身使学生快速进入学习状态,又复习了旧知识,为接下来的新授课做好准备。
】2、Presentation出示一个纸盒,问学生:What’s in the box? 学生们在教师带领下,运用不同的感官来猜测里面的东西,并且引导学生说出重点句子:I hear /smell/look/touch/listen with….,教师适时地板书,帮助学生认读和记忆。
(1) Bell——让学生听到铃铛的声音,学生们很容易得到答案:It’sa bell. 紧接着问学生:How do you know?Which sense can you use? 启发学生说出重点句:I can hear with my ears. 练习重点词:hear(2) Orange ——先让学生听一听,得不出答案,再闻一闻,闻到什么?——桔子。
老师接着问:How did you get it? Did you hear? 启发学生表达:I can smell with my nose. 练习重点词:smell(3) 让学生告诉老师桔子的味道。
老师:Is it sweet? Taste it.尽量让学生表达完整:It is sweet. I taste with my tongue. 练习重点词:taste(4) Gloves ——听一听,闻一闻,得不出答案,摸一摸,摸到什么?How did you get it? Did you hear? Did you smell? 学生说出答案:I can touch with my hands. 练习重点词:touch(5) Chocolate——用同样的方法listen、smell、touch、look。
学生说出重点句:I can see it with my eyes. 练习重点词:see【在猜的过程中,学生会被盒子里的东西吸引,教师抓住学生的好奇心和学习兴奋点,把探讨的问题放置在学生的最近发展区,让学生借助自己已有的英语水平、生活经验和别人的帮助,来构建新的知识体系。
】3、Drills(1) Read the main sentences.(2) Game: Match the verbs and nouns.E.g S1:Eyes. S2: See. S1: Hands. S2: Touch(3) Let the students remember the main sentences as quickly as they can.【通过小游戏来巩固新单词。
朗读重点句子并鼓励学生在短时间内记住它们,为接下来的教学活动做好充分的语言准备。
】4、Practice(1) Talk about the use of hand.老师抛出问题,并带领学生讨论:What do you want to do with your hands? 本环节教师的示范作用不可忽视,教师可以先说说自己对“手”的用途的理解,示范如下:For example, I can touch and feel with my hands. I want to touch your hands with my hands. 关心地问某个学生:Can I touch your hands? Your hands are warm and soft.或者:Your hands are cold, you should wear warm clothes.(2) Talk about the uses of other four senses in groups.What can you do with your ears/ nose/ tongue/eyes?I can read books/ watch TV/ see a movie…….with my eyes.I can smell the flowers/ food…….with my nose.I can hear the bell/ birds/ring……with my ears.I can taste/ speak……. with my tongue.【经过教师和部分学生的示范后,大多数学生已敢于表达自己的想法。
教师抓住时机,让每个小组选择一种感官作为话题,讨论这种感官的作用并在小组之间进行比赛,引导学生们充分发挥想象力,用完整的话语来表达自己的意愿。
】5、ConsolidationUsing five senses to identify the five kinds of liquid.(用不同的感官来辨别五种液体)本环节是综合运用环节。
教师分给每个小组五种液体和五个标签:milk, vinegar, warm water, sweet water, salt water.小组讨论:你是怎样得出答案的?最后用英语表达整个辨认过程。
【各组学生分别通过眼观、鼻嗅、触摸等方式辨认这五种液体,然后把标签贴在杯子上,并且用完整的语言表达辨认过程,这是一个综合训练过程,有助于培养学生综合语言运用能力。
】6、Summary老师有意设计一个情境:让学生把刚才用到的巧克力一起分享,但是分巧克力的几个学生必须闭上眼睛,在另一位学生的搀扶下完成任务。
任务完成之后,让他们说说刚才的感受。
老师总结:Boys and girls, everyone of us has five senses, and we can do many things with them, so we know the world with our five senses. How happy we are!But some people in the world can’t see, some people can’t hear, some people can’t speak. What should we do for them?---- Help those who need help.【在传授英语知识的同时,结合学生的亲身体会,及时渗透品德教育,引导学生从小养成关心别人、乐于助人的好习惯。
】七、教学反思1、由于充分利用师生生活背景,拓展、重建课程内容,把原有的教材内容作了扩充,使教学内容更符合学生的兴趣爱好,学生们通过运用自己的五种感官,在不知不觉中巩固了教学重点。
由于教学活动是学生们感兴趣的,所以教学效果比较明显。
2、本节课的教学策略基本反映了“小学英语多维互动教学法”的要求,通过师生之间、学生之间的良好互动,以及对课堂中新生成问题的合理处理,有效地调动了学生的主动参与意识,引发了语言、思维、情感、态度、行为方式等不同维度的互动,学生们在这些互动活动中感受到了教师、同学对自己的关心、信任和尊重,从而以积极主动的状态参与整个教学活动。
例如,在讨论“手”的用途时,有个小姑娘对老师说:我喜欢你的头发,我能用手摸一摸你的头发吗?老师的配合让这位小姑娘很高兴,也调动了其他同学的情绪,整堂课情绪高涨。
3、课堂上的互动活动丰富多彩,有对话、讨论、游戏、竞赛、小组合作探究、动手操作等等,这些互动活动都是学生们喜闻乐见的,从而使课堂变得充满活力,尤其是最后一个环节的动手操作活动,每个学生都跃跃欲试,课堂充满着笑声、讨论声、欢呼声。
4、需要指出的是,本节课由于较多地关注学生的情感互动和思维互动,而且语言交际活动追求生成与发散,相比之下机械操练略显单薄,这是本堂课的不足之处。
