《Unit4 Then and now》B Let’s talk教学设计
【教学目标】
1.能够听懂、会说、认读词组或单词：different, grade, go cycling, exercise, change.
2.能够听懂、会说、会表演Let’s talk的内容，并且能够在现实生活中正确运用句型“ Before, I was...... Now, I’m ......”来谈论自己或别人的改变。

【教学重点】
1.句型：Before, I was quiet. Now, I’m very active in class. / Before, I was short, so I couldn’t ride a bike well. Now, I go cycling every day. I like it very much. / That’s good exercise.
2.词汇：different, grade, go cycling, exercise, change.
【教学难点】
1.人成长的过程，有些变化较为抽象，需要借助语言其他方式帮助学生理解。

2.一般过去时在日常生活中的具体应用。

【教具准备】教学配套的录音机，课件，单词卡片和照片。

【学法指导】通过听、看、读、说来逐步引导学生，发展其语言思维和运用能力。

【习惯培养】学会倾听，做到“四个到”。

逐步提高理解对话与语篇的能力。

【教学过程】
一、复习热身
1.Greeting.师生互相问候。

2.Revision.(复习动词过去式)
二、新课呈现
1.Lead in.
T:What’s your favourite sport? Basketball? Football?
S:......
T:Before, I didn’t like riding my bike. Now, I like riding my bike. It’s interesting. I go cycling every day.
2.Let’s try
Mike’s friends are visiting his home. Listen and circle.
What are they talking about? (A. Mike’s hobby. B.Mike’s old photos.)
What grade was Mike in? (A.Grade 1 B.Grade 5.)
3．Let’s talk.
(1) Listen to the tape, find some new words.
(2) Read and answer the questions.
Q1：What are they doing? (They are looking at Mike’s photos.)
Q2：What is Mike wearing? (He is wearing a pink T-shirt.)
Q3：Does Mike like pink now? (No, he doesn’t.)
Q4：How did Mike change? (Before, he was quiet. Now, he was very active in class.) Q5：How did John change? （Before, he couldn’t ride a bike well. Now, he goes cycling every day.
(3)Listen again, try to translate each lines into Chinese.
(4)Read and try to fill in the blanks.

三、趣味操练

(1)听录音，熟读P36 Let’s talk内容。

(2)以书面形式，编写一个新的对话。
