Introduction
Cooking is more than just following a recipe and combining ingredients. It is an art that requires patience, skill, and creativity. In order to become a great cook, you need to master the cooking techniques and methods that make up the foundation of cooking. In this lesson plan, we will discuss some essential cooking techniques and methods that will help you become a skilled cook.

1.Cutting – learning proper knife techniques and using the right

2.Mincing – finely chopping herbs or vegetables
3.Chopping – coarsely chopping ve getables or fruit
4.Slicing – cutting ingredients into thin, even pieces
5.Grating – using a grater to shred ingredients
6.Mixing – combining ingredients together
7.Whisking – vigorously mixing ingredients together to
incorporate air
8.Folding – gently com bining ingredients to prevent deflating
9.Kneading – working dough to develop gluten
10.Blanching – boiling ingredients briefly and then immediately
transferring them to an ice bath to stop cooking
