There be 结构

在英语中，There be结构是一种常见的表示“存在”的句型。

【观察】

1. There is some milk in the glass.

2. There are two pens and a pencil in his pencil box.

3. There aren’t any students in the classroom.

4. —Is there a river near the village? —Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.

【结论】

1. There be结构表示“某地或某时有某人或某物”，there在句中无实际意义。其中be动词的形式与其后的名词在数上要保持一致。如果be动词后面是单数可数名词或不可数名词，

要用_________；如果be动词后面是可数名词的复数形式，要用_________。

2. There be结构的否定形式是在be动词后加_________。

3. There be结构的一般疑问句是把be 动词提到there前，其肯定答语为：Yes, there is / are.；

否定答语为：No, there isn’t / aren’t.。

【区分】

There be结构表示“某地或某时有某人或某物”，强调客观上的“存在”关系；而have表示“拥有”，强调主观上的“从属”关系。如：
