一、Teaching contents: 6B Unit 7, Part A
二、Teaching aims:
1、从整体上理解A板块语篇内容,能朗读、表演对话。

2、在上下文中初步理解在语篇中出现,同时又是B、C板块需要重点突破的词汇。

3、培养英语阅读能力;能从语篇对话中体会并培养文明友善的美好口质。

三、Teaching focal points:
正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、表演对话。

四、Teaching difficult points:
1、正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、表演对话。

2、培养热爱朋友的情感;能运用本课所学知识,大胆用英文与友人交流。

六、Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Introduction
1. Greetings between T and Ss.
2. Talk show: today, friend
3. Try to introduce your friends:
________ is my friend.
He/She is __________(tall, short, fat, thin, strong…)
He/She lives in __________.
He/She likes __________.
We often __________________ together.
4. Discuss: How do friends contact with each other?
(Make a call, send short messages, send a post card, chat on line, write e-mails…)
5. T: Today we’ll learn Unit 7: A letter to a penfriend (Read together).
Step 2. Presentation
1. Learn the background.
(1) T: Look at the title, what questions do you have?
(2) Listen and answer:
Who wants to write the letter?
Whom is the letter for?
(3) T: How does Liu Tao know Peter?
(4) Read the sentences together.
2. The first reading:
T: What are Liu Tao and his mother talking about? Read and tick.
3. Learn the first part of the dialogue:
(1) What does Liu Tao need?
(2) Learn to say: some writing paper, an envelope.
(3) How to ask for the these we need?
(4) Listen and repeat. Read the sentences of the first part.
(5) How do you think of Liu Tao? (Polite.)
4. Learn to say the second part:
(1) Does Mum know why Liu Tao needs these things?
(2) Does Mum know Peter? How many questions does Mum ask? What are they?
(3) Check the answers.
(4) Listen and repeat.
5. The third part of the dialogue.
(1) What is Liu Tao going to tell Peter?
(2) Read and answer: He’s going to tell Peter about…, …, … and …
(3) Will they be good friends? Why?
(4) Listen and repeat. Read the sentences of this part.
6. Watch the cartoon, try to say the sentences.
7. Read the text together.
Step 3. Read and say
1. Let’s read!课文三段对话中你最喜欢哪一段?挑最喜欢的一段,同桌分角色朗读吧。

2. Let’s try!
尝试用自己的话介绍下列内容(可以选择一个、两个或三个哦。

也可以参照板书!)
Step 4. Write and say
1. If you want to find a penfriend, what are you going to tell him/her?
2. Choose a penfriend, try to write an e-mail to him/her.
3. Some students read the e-mails.
Step 5. Summary
1. Summary for this class.
2. Learn some proverbs of friends.
对于本节课的教学,本人主要还存在以下几方面需要改进之处:
1. 对于课文中较长的句子仍需加强指导朗读,在何处停顿、如何停顿及语气语调等需作进一步作指导;
2. “选择笔友并给他/她写信”这个环节最好能落实到位,以便激发学生学英语、用英语的兴趣;
3.课堂上需更多地关注后进生。

到了高年级,因课堂内容较多,在课堂上往往会没有时间去耐心等待学困生,所以少部分学生整节课都没有发过言。

在本节课上也有一部分学生参与表达的机率很少,需为他/她们提供更多的机会。
