efficiently. This stage is characterized by a high level of motivation and satisfaction among group members, as they experience a sense of accomplishment and success.
The final stage is adjourning. This stage is not always included in the original model but is often added to acknowledge that groups may disband or transition into new forms. In this stage, the group reflects on its achievements and experiences a sense of closure. Members may feel a mix of emotions, including sadness and nostalgia, as they say goodbye to their fellow group members. This stage is important for individuals to process their experiences and prepare for future group interactions.
