邀请外教参加学校五十年校庆活动英语作文
Dear Foreign Teacher Friends,
Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grade student at Sunshine Elementary School. I'm so excited because our school is turning 50 years old this year! That's really old for a school. We're going to have a huge celebration with lots of fun activities and special events. I can't wait!
Our 50th anniversary party is going to be the best party ever. We've been planning it for months and months. All the students, teachers, parents, and even grandparents who went to our school a long time ago are going to come. It's going to be like one giant Sunshine family reunion!
We have so many amazing things planned to make this a really special golden anniversary. First, we're going to have a big parade right through the streets of our town. All the classes will make floats decorated with the Sunshine School colors of yellow and blue. My class's float is going to be a giant sun that actually lights up! How cool is that?
After the parade, the real party starts on the school grounds. We're setting up tons of game booths, bounce houses, face painting, you name it! My favorite is going to be the dunk tank
where you can pay to try to dunk the principal or a teacher in the water. The teachers better watch out because I've been practicing my throwing arm!
There's also going to be a classic car show, an talent/variety show on the big stage, and even a fireworks show at night. Can you believe that? Actual fireworks at our school! I've never seen fireworks before except on TV. I'm a little nervous they might be too loud and scary, but I know I'm going to love them.
Of course, we'll also have lots and lots of delicious food. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy...I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! The best part is there will be dishes from all the different cultures that make up our community - tacos, dumplings, curry, you name it. I can't wait to try foods from all over the world.
But the thing I'm most excited about is the international village we're setting up. Teachers and parent volunteers from countries all around the globe are going to have little booths set up to represent their home cultures. You can learn about their traditions, play games, see shows, and even make crafts from their countries. I heard there's going to be a section with huts and activities just like a real African village!
That's where you come in, our amazing foreign teacher friends! We need your help to make the international village really awesome. We're inviting all of the English language assistants, international teachers, and guest instructors from overseas to join us. Pretty please with a cherry on top?
It would mean so much to all of us students if you could come be part of our 50th celebration. You could set up a booth about your home country and culture. You can share things like your traditional clothing, games, music, dances, arts, or anything else fun. Maybe you could even do a performance or lead us in learning an activity from where you're from. Don't worry, we'll give you plenty of space, supplies, and anything else you might need.
Just imagine - kids running around getting their faces painted with traditional designs, playing cultural games, trying on ethnic costumes, and learning all about your fascinating home country. It's going to be such an amazing way for us to experience the world right here at our little school.
Your international booths will definitely be the coolest part of the whole village. To us kids, you foreign teachers are like mini-celebrities who come from these mysterious distant lands. We're always so excited and curious to learn about your homes
on the other side of the globe. Getting to interact with you and experience your culture first-hand will make this anniversary celebration one we'll never, ever forget.
Speaking of not forgetting, after the party we're putting together a huge time capsule to bury at the school. We'll pull it up in 50 more years for the 100th anniversary! How crazy is that? I'll be an old lady by then. We want to include photographs, drawings, writings, and small crafts or objects from all the different cultures represented at our international village. That way, in 2073 the future kids at Sunshine Elementary can learn all about the beautiful diversity of our world and their ancestors' amazing celebration. What a great way to connect the past and future!
So what do you say, foreign teacher friends? Will you please come and represent your home country at our 50th anniversary party? We want you to be honored guests as important members of our Sunshine community. You've taught us so much about the world already, and now you can share your culture and homeland with hund reds of eager students and families. It's going to be such an incredible day full of pride, joy, appreciation, and celebration for our wonderful, diverse, international school community.
Thanks for considering joining us for this monumental anniversary! It will mean so much to have your bright smiles and the pieces of your home countries there making it an unforgettable multicultural experience. Our golden celebration just wouldn't be complete without your amazing selves there.
Let me know if you can come, okay? I'll be first in line to visit whatever awesome cultural booth you put together. This
10-year-old can't wait to learn about your traditions!
Your Student,
Lily。
