2. 能初步运用What’s special about this day? In many places people eat zongzi.关于中国传统节日习俗的用语,在特定情景中进行简单交流。

3. 能理解课文意思并分角色表演对话。

能深入了解中国传统节日——端午节以及其传统习俗,感受中国传统文化。

学情分析
(一)教学内容分析:
本课是北京版小学英语四年级下册第五单元Lesson17的教学内容,左页为故事,右页为重点句型和替换单词。

本单元的主题是围绕“节日及安排”这一话题展开,基于学生喜闻乐见的重要节日设计的对话场景。

呈现如何恰当地讨论节日、节日意义和相关活动安排,如何向外国朋友介绍中国传统节日。

本课内容讲的是Maomao和Sara在图书馆看到关于《中国节日》的书,Maomao问Sara是否知道端午节,Sara不知道,请Maomao给她介绍一下。

本课的重点句型是:
What’s the special about this day? In many places people eat zongzi.
(二)教学对象分析:
小学四年级孩子有了一定的英语基础,能够用一些简单的句型表达自己的情感和想法,对英语学习积极性较高,乐于表演和表达自己的想法和情感。

在本课之前,上一课时学习了关于五一劳动节、植树节、世界地球日、等节日,同时也练习到了相关节日要做的一些活动。

如植树节种树,儿童节去看电影等。

生根据生活经验和已学知识回答出:Chinese New Year, National Day等。

T:5 or 6 in a group, choose a festival, finish the mind maps and introduce to us.
