Lead-in Look at a video about helping.
Talk about the correct way to be helpful.
Step 1 Find out which activities are helpful and which are not helpful. Step 2 Listen to the tape of key words in listening.
Step 3 Free talk: What should we do when a fire happens?
Step 4 Reading:
1.Read Amy’s story and order the following events.
2.Read again and answer questions.
3.Read again and complete the sentences.
Step 5 Review: Talk about the story.
Try to understand the saying: Helping others is helping oneself. Step 6 Complete the Vocabulary.
Step 7 Choose some important phrases and explain them.
Step 8 Review:
