Unit 2 My favourite season
A Let’s learn教学设计
教学目标:
知识目标:
1、能够听、说,读、写本课时的主要生词:season、spring、summer、autumn、winter。
2、能够使用句型Which season do you like best?提问,并能够根据实际情况回答问题。
能力目标:
1、能够在语境中正确使用上述单词。
2、会询问并回答对季节的喜好,并简单陈述喜欢的理由。
情感目标:
1、让学生有兴趣用英语表达自己所喜爱的季节,并陈述理由。
2、培养学生热爱大自然的情操。
学情分析:
五年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用,既是四年级的衍生又是六年级的铺垫。
在学会准确说出表示四季的单词以及用句型描述自己喜欢的季节的基础上,学生会自然而然地产生表述喜好原因的需求,这正是他们遇到的难题之一。
因此,教师应针对该难点,分层次为学生设计完整的语言情境和操练活动,激发并满足学生获取知识的欲望。
教学重难点:
重点:掌握四个季节词汇的音、形、义及语用。
难点:在语境中的准确使用;autumn的发音和拼写。
教学过程:
Step1 Warm up
1 Greeting
What day is it today? What’s the weather like today?...
2 Read quickly.引导学生复习形容天气的单词cold, warm, hot, cool...
Step 2 Presentation
1 课件出示有关四季的动画,引出单词season,并带读。
(利用动画展示四季的图片,让学生初步感受四季,理解season 含义。
)
2 课件出示百鸟争鸣的声音,引出单词spring,并带读。
Talk about the weather and the activities.
T: What’s the weather like in spring?
Ss: It’s warm.
T: What can you do in spring?
Ss: I can fly a kite...
3 课件出示青蛙叫声,引出单词summer,并带读。
Talk about the weather and the activities.(同上)
4 课件出示歌曲“秋日私语”,引出单词autumn,讲解美式英语fall,并带读。
Talk about the weather and the activities.(同上)
5 课件出示北风呼啸的声音,引出单词winter,并带读。
Talk about the weather and the activities.(同上)
Step 3 Practice
1 听录音,并跟读,注意单词的发音。
2 游戏:火眼金晴
3 自编Let’s chant,学生有节奏的朗读。
Spring, spring, spring is warm.
Summer, summer, summer is hot.
Autumn, autumn, autumn is cool.
Winter, winter, winter is cold.
4 Guessing game:Which season do you like best?读句子,猜季节。
培养学生的阅读理解能力
①It is hot and sunny. And the days are long. I can swim.
①The flowers are red. The grass is green. It's warm and windy.
①Oh! It's very cold .We can play with snow and make a snowman.
①It's the harvest (丰收) season. It's cool and windy. Many leaves fall down from the trees.
Step 4 Presentation
T: There are four seasons in a year. I like spring best. What’s your favourite season?
S1: My favourite season is summer.
T: What’s your favourite season?We can say it like this: Which season do you like best? “which” means “哪一个”, “best” means “最”.
教师带读句型Which season do you like best?并作回答。
Step 5 Practice
1 听录音,并跟读,提醒学生注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
2 教师带读,然后分小组读,分男女生读。
3 两人一组,编对话,然后让学生上台表演。
Step 6 Consolidation/Extension
1 Read and match
课件出示Read and match,先让学生独立完成,然后师生一起核对答案。
2 Let’s chant
听录音,并有节奏的跟读。
3 T: We have
4 seasons in a year. Spring is green. Summer is bright. Fall is golden .Winter is white.Which season do you like best? There is no best, only better! It’s better for us:enjoy every season and happy every day!
4 Enjoy the song: What’s your favourite season?
Step 7 Homework
1.Draw the seasons.
2.Talk about your favourite season with your friends.。
