Issues for increased level of expectation from the industry
• High Field Call Rate and Cost of Non Quality • RoHS compliance still not 100% • Deployment need to be started for AQP and DfSS • Need more and more pro-activeness from our business
– Candidate Selection/Approval by Philips
– Experienced Individual with thorough knowledge of quality systems and supplier processes.
– Able to achieve Philips JQM certification requirements to include an understanding of the following (as a minimum):
6 months mission with rotating principle
Training program
Co-ordinate locally, supplier readiness activities during project (CROT, CROV impact)
–Auditing
• Full understanding y suppliers • Streamlined deployment within suppliers • Correct execution of the requirements • Continual monitoring • Closed loop corrective actions

INTRODUCTION
• Philips is committed to world-class quality, and to environmental and social performance.
• Philips and its supply base have to demonstrate competency and systematic approach in managing the businesses.
• Both Philips and supplier shall benefit.
• We would set the correct working goals, identify improvement gaps and training needs, and to interact structurally with the JQM.
Process and Product Readiness Assessments (including NPI), Product audits >> Reports Certification preparation

Field performance, Factory performance, Second tier supplier performance

Program Manager • Comes from BG / BLC / BL quality and/or supplier
