2007年南通中考英语试卷分析及今后复习策略巩王初级中学黄海东2007年南通市中考英语试卷的命题,遵循了教育部新颁布的《英语课程标准》、《英语教学大纲》,体现了新课程标准的理念,为初中英语教学起到了正确的导向作用。
相对与以往历年的中考来说，今年的英语考试的总分为150分，其中有10分的口语分数。
英语这门功课的重要性由此可见。

试卷有五大特点：一是评价观念新，注重基础，强调能力。
二是选材新颖，题材、体裁丰富多样，既涉及社会现状又涉及科普知识。
二是试卷题型结构趋于简约，更具综合性，今年的英语试卷在题型结构上作了进一步调整，增加了主观的比分，加大主观试题的开放程度，加大了考查考生综合运用语言能力的力度，加大了对学生身体审题能力的考查。
三是试卷难度适中，知识涵盖面广，命题时注意知识面的覆盖，双基并重，突出能力，分散难点，形成梯度，不出繁、怪、偏题。
四是版面的设计生动，活泼，有情趣。
今年英语试卷体现双基性，重视考查考生对英语基础知识与技能的掌握情况，以及在具体情景中运用英语分析和解决问题的能力。
同时，试卷也体现了时代性，把阅读能力作为主要考查内容，着重考查考生理解各种题材和体裁的书面材料的能力以及从各种材料中获取信息的能力。
此外，试卷还体现开放性，书面表达着重考查考生运用所学的语言知识与技能进行信息沟通，再现生活经历，并不是孤立地考查词汇和语法的掌握情况，给了考生更多自由发挥的空间试卷中，各个大题涉及的内容都与考生的日常生活息息相关，有很强的时代感。
材料来自于生活实际、外国文化等，既贴近学生生活实际，又能体现时代精神。
