本模块以seasons and weather即季节和天气为话题，课文内容是四张制作精美的海报，主题分别是一年四季。
Unit1主要学习春夏秋冬四个季节的英文表达法及在这些季节里会出现的天气状况，同时学习在四个季节里人们经常要做的事情。
本课重点是含有实义动词的一般现在时语句的巩固运用和天气词汇的学习。
二、教学目标1、知识能力目标：(1) 能理解运用单词：we,fly, spring ,summer ,autumn ,winter ,warm ,hot ,cool ,cold ,skating(2) 能够简单运用It’s warm in spring. We fly kites in spring .这类句型谈论季节特征以及不同季节发生的不同活动。
2、技能目标：能够在日常生活中谈论四个季节的基本特征以及不同季节发生的各种活动。
3、情感态度目标：(1) 培养学生享受美景，热爱生活的品格。

而要完成本课的学习任务，还需要借助原有的知识点，如：go swimming, play football等有关短语。
学生情况分析：小学三年级的学生在经过了上个学期的英语学习后，有了一定的英语基础，能进行一些简单的表达。
并且他们活泼好动，竞争意识和表现欲都比较强烈，对英语学习保持着浓厚的兴趣，他们非常熟悉各个教学环节的活动，对游戏、竞赛，chant 等各种形式的活动都有着强烈的兴趣。
但是但由于他们年龄较小，容易出现注意力不集中的现象，并且其注意力往往只能保持较短时间。
因此，对他们进行的听说训练效果较好,认读能力略差。
综合以上情况，我选择运用多媒体课件作为基本的教学手段，同时设计形式多样的教学活动，充分调动学生的积极性，的把学生当成课堂的主人翁,让他们在快乐地完成各项活动的同时掌握本课的重点知识，真正做到在玩中学，让学生感受到学英语的乐趣，从而更加喜欢英语。
