摘要： MWNT (where MWNT has a number of layers than two layers) a combination of and DWNT is, significantly improves the mechanical properties of the polymer
nanocomposite. Strengthening by a small amount of DWNT (<1wt%) is significantly improved bending strength of the epoxy matrix nanocomposites. Strengthening by
MWNT same amount or the same kind of amount significantly improves the flexural modulus of the epoxy matrix nanocomposites (stiffness). Both the flexural strength and flexural modulus of the epoxy nanocomposites reinforced both in MWNT and DWNT, compared with epoxy nanocomposites reinforced with either the same amount of DWNT or MWNT, is much improved. In the epoxy / DWNT / MWNT nanocomposite systems, SWMT also can function in lieu of the DWNT. In addition to the epoxy, it may also function other thermoset polymers.
