Many workers have had no choice but to adapt to working from home in recent months since offices shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic (新冠疫情). And the noisy situation and endless housework may result in a terrible emotion. A new option is waiting foryou. That is WFH: work from a hotel.
Hotel Figuero
A special program titled Work Perks aims to reposition some of 94-year-old Hotel Figuero’s 268 rooms as day-use offices.
According to Managing Director Connie Wang, the set-up launched in June and is a great opportunity to get out of their houses with high-speed Wi-Fi, unlimited printing privileges and free parking. The 350-square-foot rooms sell for $ 129 per day, with an option to extend to an overnight stay for an additional $ 20.
The Wythe
A boutique hotel inBrooklyn. The hotel recently announced a partnership with co-working office space company Industrious through which it is recycling 13 second-story guest rooms to serve as offices for up to four people.
Each of the rooms has a small outdoor platform, and dogs are welcome. Pricing starts at $ 200 and goes up to $ 275, depending on how many people use the space.
The Sawyer
The Sawyer, in Sacramento, California, is offering pool cabanas (更衣室) for use as outdoor offices, complete with fast Wi-Fi, free parking and catered lunch for $ 150 per day.
HotelsByDay
Yannis Moati founded HotelsByDay back in 2015. That company has grown to include more than 1,500 hotels, and has seen a significant increase in the number of inquiries for day-use bookings lately.

I am a part of the Windward Robotics team known as the Omnicats, one of the many clubs offered at my school. My eight teammates and I started out by watching the robotics qualifiers and finals of Chinese teams. We used these robotics videos for inspiration and drew up mind maps of what our team wanted to do.
We meet every day for two hours after school in order to build our robots. Typically, adultsoverseewhat students are building, but my school lets teens take control. It leaves room for more errors, but we're prouder of our final product.
Before our first real match, a practice was offered at the actual site. My sub-team had been further along than other teams but quickly fell behind. When we arrived on that big day, I immediately felt my teammates' nervousness. Our first match was in three minutes. All of us glanced around at each other since we were not prepared at all. Our robot was still sitting in a box. Two of our teammates rushed to take the robot for an official examination as the rest of us discussed our strategy (策略).
Our team captain explained that we all should try driving the robot now, while it was early in the season. She gave me the remote. I had only driven for a limited amount of time in practice so I was extremely nervous. Our autonomous code (自动代码) beganto run almost immediately after our short discussion. Despite all the drama, we ended up winning the match.
Not too bad for the first match! I was so proud. I did not enjoy the pressure of driving but liked building the robot behind the scenes instead.
We have transferred to a different type of robotics at the end of the semester, which involves the whole team designing one giant robot with large tools. I am a part of the electrical team now, so I make sure the motherboard (母板) can supply the robot's energy needs. We have all enjoyed the rest of the season and learned that robotics it never dull!

I'm sorry to learn that your mom read your journal and you felt annoyed. After all, it is up to you if to share what you write.
You'd better have a open discussion about how all of you feel. You should calmly tell her that you expect to have a certain amount privacy. If she feels the best of all way to know about you is to read your journal, and it means there is a lack of communication.
As we get old, we start to want more privacy, but this can lead to parents feel like they are left out of our world. You may as well understand what your mom does. I believe there must be a win-win solution to making your mom feel she is till strongly connecting with you.
Yours,

52.阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。

It was one o’clock in the morning. In the Rivesville town art gallery, a window opened and a man came in. His name was Harry Black, and he was a thief. It was dark in the art gallery, but Harry had a light. He looked across the room at a painting.
“There it is!” he said.
Harry moved quickly across the room. He stood and looked at the painting.
“A million dollars for this?” he thought. “I don’t understand it.”
But he took a knife from his coat. Then he took the painting very, very slowly from its frame. Harry went back across the room to the window, but he walked into a table. There was a beautiful blue glass vase on the table. It fell on the floor and broke into pieces. He ran across the piece of glass to the window.
Harry rented a room in Mrs. Allen’s house. He went quietly up to his room and closed the door. In his room, Harry took the painting from his bag. He wrapped it with a newspaper and put the newspaper under his bed.
In the morning, Janey Allen was putting old bottles into a box. On the TV, a reporter was at the Rivesville art gallery. He was talking about the lost painting and the broken glass vase. Janey glanced at the photo of the blue vase.
At that time Harry wasn’t in his room. He was talking on his telephone. Janey was looking for old newspapers. Every Friday morning, she took them from every room in the house. Then later, the newspaper recycling truck arrived.
Janey opened Harry’s door and looked into his room. She always took his old newspapers or bottles for recycling. She found a newspaper under Harry’s bed. She put the old newspapers into a black recycling box. Then she ran from the house and saw the truck. “Wait!” she said. And she quickly gave the box to one of the men.
Harry came back to the house. He saw the recycling truck, and he saw Janey.
“The newspaper—!Oh, no!” Harry said.
