A Dishonest Cat
There is a cat. It likes telling lies. It wants to catch the mouse, and the mouse runs away. But it says ,“The mouse is too thin. I want to catch a fat mouse.” It climbs up a tree to catch the birds. The birds fly away, and it falls off the tree. It says, “I’m doing exercises.” It comes to the river to catch fish. The fish swims away. It says, “I only want to wash my face.” It falls into the river. Everyone comes to save it, but is says, “I’m swimming.” But after a while, it sinks to the bottom of the river and doesn’t come up again.

一、动词的时态
1、现在进行时:表示说话人说话时正在进行的动作。(与now连用) 构成:助动词be的人称形式+现在分词
(am is are) (动词+ing)
第一人称 第二人称 第三人称
单数 I am walking. You are walking. He is walking. She is walking. It is walking.
时间状语连用。
一般现在时常以动词原形表示,但当主语是第三人称单数时(he she it),应用动词的单数第三人称形式。
4、一般将来时:表示将要发生的动作或未来的情况、状态,常 与表示将来的时间状语连用,如this afternoon, tomorrow, tonight, next week等。 构成:be going to +动词原形

1、名词前需要加an的单词:apple、elephant 、 eagle 、 ant 、 actor 、 actress 、 artist 、 engineer 、 egg 、 orange 、 eggplant 等 2、名词后需要加es的单词:tomato 、 potato

A Clever Crow
A crow is thirsty. He finds a bottle with a little water in it. But the neck of the bottle is too long, the crow can’t get the water. The crow thinks and thinks, and then he has a good idea. He puts some pebbles in the botttle, the water rises up. Now he can drink the water. What a clever crow!
Future Cars
In the near future, cars are going to be different. People will not drive them. A computer is inside every car. The computer will be able to driver the car. People just sit inside the car, listen to music, drink tea, or even sleep. But people must give orders to the computer before it starts to work.
What Happened?
