我长大了想当老师英语作文简单版
When I Grow Up, I Want to Be a Teacher
Ever since I was a little kid, I've known that I want to be a teacher when I grow up. I love learning new things and I love helping others learn too. Being a teacher seems like the perfect job for me!
My favorite teachers are the ones who make learning fun. Mrs. Green, my third grade teacher, always had the most exciting science experiments and creative art projects for us to do. I remember one time we made these really cool paper mache volcanoes that actually erupted with baking soda and vinegar lava! That was so amazing to see in person rather than just watching a video or looking at pictures in a book.
Mr. Lopez, who taught me in fourth grade, was also really good at getting the whole class engaged and participating. We would have energetic discussions where everyone shared their ideas and perspectives. He encouraged us to ask lots of questions if we didn't understand something. I never felt afraid to speak up in his class.
Teachers like Mrs. Green and Mr. Lopez have inspired me so much. They make me excited to go to school and learn. I want to
have that same positive impact as a teacher myself one day. I think it would be really rewarding to spark curiosity in kids and help them develop a true love of learning.
I know being a teacher is hard work though. My mom is a teacher and I see how much time and effort she puts into planning her lessons and grading all the assignments and tests. She frequently has to take work home with her in the evenings and on weekends. But even though the job is challenging, my mom always says it's worth it to help shape young minds.
I really admire how patient teachers have to be too. Kids can be a handful sometimes - we get antsy sitting still for too long, we blurt things out, we don't always listen. Teachers have to be prepared to deal with disruptions and silliness while still making sure everyone is learning what they need to learn. Having the patience and staying calm when things get chaotic in the classroom is a skill I'll need to work on.
Another part of being a teacher that appeals to me is getting to be creative. Teachers can't just lecture and assign readings and worksheets every single day or their students would get so bored! They have to come up with innovative, hands-on activities to teach concepts in engaging ways. Being able to get creative and think outside the box seems really fun to me.
I'm not 100% certain yet what grade level or subject I'd want to teach. In elementary school, I've enjoyed all my classes like math, science, reading, writing, social studies, and even PE and art. I could see myself teaching any of those subjects to kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Or maybe I'll want to be a teacher for older students in middle school or high school and specialize in one particular subject area that I'm really passionate about.
No matter what, I know I'll need to go to college and get my teaching degree and certification before I can become a teacher. My parents always emphasize how important it is to get a good education. I'll have to work really hard in school myself if I want to achieve my dream career. But I'm up for the challenge!
Being a teacher seems like such a meaningful way to positively impact the lives of children and help shape the next generation. When I'm standing in front of my own classroom one day, I'll think back to all the teachers who inspired me as a student. I hope I can be that passionate, engaging teacher who kids will remember years later as the one who sparked their desire to keep learning. To me, that's the greatest legacy I could leave.。
