摘要

本文阐述了现代物流的特点,从现代物流的角度分析了公路货物运输的重要性,并探讨了我国公路货物运输在现代物流发展中存在的受政府管理体制的制约;公路货物运输企业效率低;公路里程和路网等级低;货运装备水平低;环境污染严重等问题。提出采取资源整合,建立法规,加快信息化建设,大力发展现代绿色物流和加强人才等建议。

随着信息时代、知识经济时代和网络时代的来临,现代物流具备了信息化、网络化、自动化、柔性化、绿色化等特点。其追求的目标是把合适的产品,在合适的地点,以适当的数量,在所需要的时间和适当的价格提供给顾客。货物流通过程是借助于交通运输部门所提供的交通运输工具来实现的

现代物流在效率和成本方面对作为重要环节的运输提出了全新的要求,我国交通运输现状的发展水平已不能适应需要,为此,必须在政府管理、基础设施建设、运输组织管理技术、货运服务模式、企业组织形态等方面实现发展理论的创新。运输发展理论创新的核心是促进货物运输行业尽快实现产业更新、服务创新、技术和装备设施的进步,即要求实现货物运输的现代化,所以,以现代化为宗旨的现代货运的发展,就成为运输发展理论创新的根本所在。现代物流对运输服务提出的新要求无论从何种角度定义,无论实现管理的形式和手段为何,现代物流的基本实质似乎都可以用“降低成本、提高效率、改善服务”来概括。现代物流的这种实质内涵,对作为其管理与经营运作的核心环节的运输组织与服务,在上述三个方面较传统的运输提出了更高的要求,运输组织与服务能否适应这种新的要求,将在很大程度上关乎现代物流系统的构建和系统运转的顺畅。
