重点是学会通过常见词汇和句子简单的描述人物(第三人称)的外貌特征。

这些词汇词紧密贴近学生生活实际和好奇心强的特点。

在刚刚学过介绍教室(Unit 1)的基础上,很自然的引入本单元的学习。

本单元重点介绍如何简单描述他人(friends)的性格或外貌特征,由于三年级已经接触过一些介绍人物的知识,学生对本单元相对容易接受。

二、学情分析:四年级学生的年龄在10-11岁左右,生性活泼好动,好奇心强,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣。

而他们接触英语已有一年时间,已具备初步的听说能力。

再来,本单元将会接触到介绍人物的诸多词汇,相信必能很好地调动学生的学习积极性。

通过以上分析,我采用了创设情境法、TPR、表演法、交际法、游戏法以及小组合作等多种教学方法,通过多媒体的辅助教学,在课堂中促使学生多听、多读、多说,形成自主、探究式学习。

三、教学目标:(1)知识目标: 能听、说、认读tall、short、friendly、strong、quiet、thin 等描述人物的单词和词组。

(2)能力目标: 能够运用“I have a good friend. He is tall and strong. Who is he?His name is...”等句子向别人简单介绍自己的朋友及其特征。

(3)情感目标: 增加朋友之间的友谊,建立正确的互爱互助的朋友关系。

四、教学重、难点:(1)教学重点:掌握描述人物特征的词汇并能简单描述他人的体貌和性格特征。

(2)教学难点:①quiet的发音,不能发成[kwait],教师可借助手势帮助学生了解这个单词的意思;②能分辨he和she,his和her,并能正确使用它们。
