I loved childhood. With the exception of not being able to eat cookie dough whenever I wanted (an indulgence I submit to as an adult), it was fun. I’m a kid still, except now I have to act grown-up.My fondest memories were going to my grandparents’ house. They bought an old farm in Michigan when my mom about 8. They had animals, and orchard, a barn and lots of land. No crops though. My grandpa was an accountant but a farmer in his blood. He grew up with 11 brothers and sisters, on a farm, and knew everything about land, animals, plants, gardening and weather. And what he didn’t know, he made up. Grandma put up with it without complaining.By the time my siblings and I came around, the animals were gone, but the land, the barn, and the orchard were still there. They lived about an hour from us so we went there a lot.On rainy days we played all the indoor games in the big farmhouse. Or read their comic collection from the 1960s. (Which, I’m sorry to say, we did not leave in pristine shape.) Grandma made dough and other snacks, my sister helping her because again, I ate then. I did puzzles with grandpa. They had one bathtub, no shower. You had to use a cup to wash your hair. And the water was vile well-water. I hated drinking it.Most of the time though, we played outside. In the barn (until it collapsed), in the orchard, getting stomach aches from eating too many apples, and running around on trails that grandpa mowed with his tracker. He walked around with berries and nutsin his hand and scattered them as he went, he said he was ‘getting new plants to grow.’He’d walk with us, tell us what everything was, and pointed out footprints that he swore were bears. One time we made a sumac fort. It took all weekend. I don’t remember playing in the fort…but making it was fun as hell. The remnants of the structure were still there when my grandparents finally moved out of the house, more than 10 years later. One time I left my favorite stuffed animal at their house and I was inconsolable. Until Grandma wrote me a letter, from my bear, telling me what a good time she was having and how she was ‘helping grandma by eating cookie dough.’ I still have the letter. When they moved to a smaller place, the farmhouse was torn down to make room for a nearby school to expand their playground. Although that hasn’t happened yet.I went back to the property a few years ago, it is entirely overgrown. Hard to tell where anything used to be. No apple trees, house, or barn rubble. It is sad that nothing of the farm exists, but somehow I can’t help thinking that grandpa would be glad it has grown back. Back to from where it came.My grandparents are very much alive and kicking. We still do puzzles. I saw Grandpa at Spring festival and he told me about different types of potatoes and how to grow them. And Grandma told me (again) about the time I asked her why rabbit droppings were so round.I credit roaming those fields and forests with making me an introvert, and lover of nature.2. A little girl’s best friend... His name was Kurock, he was a sweet Doberman with a heart of gold.My childhood was a nightmare with a few bright spots. This amazing dog was one of them.Kurock slept in my bed and kept me warm on cold winter nights. We sought each other out when the house was loud with angry adults. I snuck him extra “people’food when we were out of dog food. Children and dogs were not priorities...We spent a great deal of time wandering in the woods, watching birds, squirrels and looking for something better than what was occurring in our home.Years after he passed away I would find his short black hairs embedded in my blanket fibers.I still miss him 37 years later...3.苦中看乐 mother when still alive母亲死于一场车祸,所以,关于母亲的一些回忆,变得尤为真切,温暖。

雅思口语Part2话题参考答案:童年趣回忆(a happy childhood memory)You should say:when and where the incident you remember happenedwho you were withwhat happened exactlyand explain why it is a happy memory. I grew up very far from most of my family so I only saw them once a year. Every summer I would go to stay with them, while my parents continued working. Although I missed my parents, I used to really enjoy spending time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. I spent all summer there, nearly two whole months, so from time to time my cousins and I would get bored. We would ask my grandparents if they had any ideas for interesting things we could do. Sometimes they suggested going for a bike ride, sometimes into town to do some shopping. At other times, they showed us a new game to play. Then we were happy again. One day - it must be about 12 years ago (doesn't time fly!) - all of us got really, really bored and we kept complaining to my grandparents. They were tearing their hair out, trying to think up ideas of where we could go and what we could do. Suddenly, my granddad came up with the idea of going to a new water park that had opened that summer. I hadn't heard about it but mycousins had, and they told me all about it. It was a park with vast numbers of different pools, some inside, some outside. There were water slides as well. And, on top of there was not one, but two playgrounds with swings, a merry-go-round, see-saws. We were so excited. We set off and on the way we were all singing songs and laughing. We couldn't wait to get there. When we arrived, my cousins and I ran into the park and changed into our swimming costumes. Then we went looking for the most exciting-looking pool, and we found it, one with brightly coloured tiles and slides, we jumped straight in. We played all day in the park and had a lovely lunch, sat on some benches in the sunshine. My granddad loved a pool that was filled with spa water. It was dark brown and stank of rotten eggs. I didn't want to go in but he eventually convinced me. I'm pleased he did because the water was really warm. I'd never swam in water that warm. I didn't want to get out, despite the terrible smell.I consider it such a happy memory because we enjoyed ourselves so much and I remember so vividly how I felt that day. But there's more to it than just that. When I look back now, I understand how caring my grandparents were and how much they wanted us all to be happy. They would have done anything to help us have a good time. I appreciate that more now that I'm older and have children of my own. I hope we thanked them; I can't remember. But, anyway, they were content, I'm sure, to just watch us have an amazing time, playing and laughing in the water. So, as you can see, it was a wonderful day and is one of my favourite childhood memories. Childhood is a time when everything is magical and pleasant. The possibility and dreams are vast and things become happier in childhood. Everybody has childhood memories and among them some are pleasant and some are sad. I have various childhood memories and I would like to talk about my childhood memory related to my first day at school.I was about 5 years old when my parents got me admitted ina local school. I had a fascination of going to school from 3-4 years as I recall and when my father finally announced that I'll get admitted in the coming January, I felt like being in heaven.I imagined school would be a great place and I would have lots of friends and I would study there. On the day, my parents took me to the school that I had saw many times from outside but never entered. After entering the school, I find myself anxious about everything.I was unsure what to do, who to talk to, what to do when the teachers would ask questions and many such things. After my father submitted some necessary papers and fees to the admission department, they gave me new books, a temporary Identity Card and a syllabus. I started feeling comfortable after I found that some of our neighboring kids were already in this very school and they came to me and talked to me. This took place at my hometown where I grew up and I had been to this school for the next 4 years. To my surprise one of the teachers asked my parents to leave me and told me to attend the classes. I was not at all prepared to join the class but I found I had little choice over that. My parents spent few times and advised me how to behave, how to listen to teachers and many more tips. After my parents abandoned me, I was frightened for few moments and sat at a corner of the class. The teacher asked to come forward and introduce myself. I found I was unable to walk and talk. But in few minutes my hesitation got away and I was talking about myself. The teacher appreciated me and some of the new classmates came forward and greeted me. I started enjoying the class and teachers and found that I started loving my school. Later on I got admitted in college, university and many other places but the memory of first day at primary school was totally different and I still remember the day evidently. Tips for answering this cue card topic:You are asked to talk about any event from your childhood which you still remember. While in the phase of 1-2 minutes for the cue card, many things from your childhood might pop-up in your mind.
What are the effects of playing indoor games on children。
例如,雅思口语Part1中有这样一题——What are the effects of music on people’s life and work, 这就是显性影响类的典型问题。

Looking back on childhood, many people have sunk into the depths of their minds due to the erosion of time, and what floats on the water is the memory of the fisherman's Wharf. After thinking for a long time, Tuoji finally assembled the memory fragments together to form a complete memory.I remember every time I went to the fisherman's Wharf, when the car just stopped on the parking space, I rushed out of the car, opened my arms and breathed the salty and fishy sea breeze wantonly. This is the entrance to the sea, so the sand is not golden sand, but dark brown sand; The sea is not a blue sea, but an earthy Yellow Sea. When I went there for the first time, I was disappointed that it was different from what I imagined. I came here more often and was slowly attracted by the charm here. After the ebb tide, I stepped into this mysterious land with my shoes. There are many uneven textures on the mudflat, which are the traces left by the embrace of waves and sediment. A striped road extends from the east to the west of the mudflat. Stepping on it is extremely hard, angular and uncomfortable. But it's good to walk more. My feet are numb and massaged thoroughly. Now I think of the feeling of massage flip flops that have been worn for a long time. The more you go down, the closer you get to the waves retreating below, the more gentle the sediment becomes. The soft feeling still lingers between the soles of your feet. I like to pick up my toes, "grab" a handful of sand, turn around, stretch out my legs, throw it on the ground, and "snap" the sand to theground, crisp and refreshing. There is always an impulse to scream at the sky, and the feeling of happiness spreads to the whole body at this time. The happiest time should be to explore the traces of small crabs in the sand. The mud beach is full of small holes, which are the breathing holes left by small crabs when they climb in. Dig down with a shovel and you will find the trace of the little crab. It's too slow to start. It's often dug up and let it drill back. I don't remember many details. I only remember that I was very happy.I only remember the unspeakable emotion when I finally released them. All this, although very far away, seems to have happened yesterday.2. Everyone has his own childhood. Childhood is a painting with our colorful life; Childhood is a song with our happiness and joy; Childhood is a dream with our imagination and vision. Today, I'll tell you about my childhood. Before the age of seven, I was a naive and lovely little naughty. At that time, many stupid things happened to me. When no one plays with me, I put on a pillow towel, hold a toy sword and wear a mask. I play armor warriors and monsters. I have a good time alone. When I was in grade one, I began to like playing chess. Start with the simplest checkers. Every Friday afternoon in the second class, I am very proud and proud, because I can always get off the teacher, and the teacher is convinced that I have lost.In my childhood, such an interesting thing happened. When I was five years old, my mother bought a big bag of Spiced melon seeds. I ate the fragrant and crisp melon seeds. I couldn't helpasking my mother, "Mom, how did you get the melon seeds so fragrant and crisp?" my mother patiently said to me, "melon seeds are obtained from sunflowers. If you plant a sunflower seed, you can produce many melon seeds." I listened to my mother, I came up with a plan in my heart. The next day, my parents went out. I took out a handful of melon seeds and planted them in the field in the hope that they would grow into sunflowers as soon as possible. So I looked forward to it. A week later, there were still no sunflowers and no grass on the ground. With a sad face, I told the whole family what had happened. Who knows, they laughed.I didn't know what to do, so I asked my mother, "what's the matter?" my mother smiled and said, "you planted ripe melon seeds. It won't take root and sprout, and it won't bear sunflowers. Only raw seeds can grow sunflowers. Don't believe you try." with the help of my mother, the sunflowers I planted finally grew seedlings. This matter has long been an old thing, but it is still like a luminous small shell, always on the beach of my memory.3. People's life is full of dreams and desires: some people are eager for holidays because they can play, and some people are eager for freedom because free life is unrestrained; Some people long for a good book because it is full of knowledge. Not only people, but also animals and plants have many desires: flowers are eager for bees to collect their pollen, birds are eager for a broad sky, fish are eager for a clear river... And I am eager for childhood and time to go back.Childhood is carefree, happy, happy and naive. Many people have happy memories of childhood, but timeis in a hurry. In the blink of an eye, an ignorant little doll becomes a little adult who can deal with difficulties, and the original young parents are covered with green silk and mixed with several silver hairs.Childhood is carefree. The little doll can go to a sweet sleep every day. She wakes up from her sleep and cries for a while. It's like nothing happened. She jumps and plays by herself.Childhood is happy. When someone teases me a little, I "giggle" and keep laughing. When sleeping, you may dream of something beautiful or fun, and the corners of your mouth rise slightly from time to time.Childhood is happy. A little boy was raised by his father's powerful hand, carried on his broad shoulder, and sat comfortably, not afraid of falling. The mother's warm hand also gently touched the doll's head. The warm embrace made people feel at ease and comfortable.Childhood is naive. Mother told fairy tales and thought there was really a fairy tale world; Dad said that when watermelon seeds were eaten in his stomach, he really thought that big watermelon would grow in his stomachChildhood life is missed and deeply remembered; Childhood is the most beautiful and pure fragment on the long road of life... Even if you know that time can't go back, you still hope to return to that carefree, happy, happy and innocent childhood one day. May I continue to grow and return as a child.。

This took place at my hometown where I grew up and I had been to this school forthe next 4 years. Later on I got admitted in college, university and many other places but the memory of first day at primary school was totally different and I still remember the day evidently.Tips for answering this cue card topic:You are asked to talk about any event from your childhood which you still remember. This event does not have to be a big event like a sporting success or a visit to a famous place. You can talk about virtually anything that you think was interesting and you can describe comfortably.Try to talk about something that you would be able to talk fluently. While in the phase of 1-2 minutes for the cue card, many things from your childhood might pop-up in your mind. But pick the thing that you would be able to talk in details. Some of the common things that we usually remember from our childhood and this list was made to help you generating some ideas to talk about:1. Your first day at school.2. Your birthday celebration that you enjoyed.3. A fight with a friend!4. A brave thing you did as a child.5. An expected gift that you got.6. Something interesting you did.7. Something naughty you did.8. A dangerous experience from your childhood. Not necessarily you have to talk about an interesting and enjoyable thing from your childhood. You can talk about any negative experience you have had in your childhood; like, a death of a relative could be a memorable event that you can’t forget.Try to make the description interesting and give an impression that you are reciting your memory. Being able to give much detail about the experience and making the topic interesting would help you get a good score. If you can answer this cue card topic, you should also be able to talk about the following topics:1. Describe one of the happy memories in your life.2. Describe a memorable event of your life.3. Describe a childhood friend.4. Describe a celebration that you enjoyed.5. Talk about your first day at school.6. Describe a negative experience you had in your childhood. You should say:when and where the incident you remember happenedwho you were withwhat happened exactlyand explain why it is a happy memory. I hadn't heard about it but my cousins had, and they told me all about it. Itwas dark brown and stank of rotten eggs. So, as you can see, it was a wonderful day and is one of my favourite childhood memories.雅思口语p2话题范文:童年回忆when and where the incident you remember happenedwho you were withwhat happened exactlyand explain why it is a happy memory. Childhood memories are strange things, because sometimes you can’t quite be sure if you really remember something, or if you just think you do because others have told you about it, or you have seen a photo of the event later on. I’m going to talk to you about a memory that I’m very confident is real. I’ll tell you what it is, when it happened, how it affected me and why I still remember it.The memory is the earliest one I have of me and my Dad. I was very small indeed, I’m not exactly sure how old, but I’dguess about three years old, maybe even younger. My Dad was not a particularly tall or strong man, but I was small enough, and by comparison, he was big enough then, for me to stand with both my feet on one of his, and to reach up with my arms and cling onto his leg. I would then hang on and laugh delightedly as he tried to go about his daily business, walking around the house with me gripping on tightly refusing to be budged. It was a favourite game.I don’t know that I can honestly say it affected me in my life. However, in m y family, we don’t really talk about things very much or do a lot together. We don’t live particularly close to one another so see each other rather infrequently. I suppose the way the incident affected me was by making me at a subconscious level feel close to my Dad even years later as we had shared that happy play time together when I was tiny.I didn’t know I had held onto this memory until quite recently. Sadly my Dad died, he had been very ill for a long time, so it wasn’t unexpected, but of course it was very sad. I wanted to say something about him at his funeral, and I wanted to pick a memory that was personal just to him and to me. For some reason that image of me tiny and laughing and him solemnly ‘pretending’ that he hadn’t noticed I was there cam e into my mind and it seemed very appropriate somehow to share that one. It was a happy memory, but also an intimate one. I think he would have been really pleased that I could recall it so many decades later. So why can I remember it? I’m not sure, but I like to think the memory was there dormant all the time just waiting for the moment when I needed to retrieve it. It is a comforting thing to recall. The human mind is an amazing thing!雅思口语素材:童年听过的故事用于话题“童年听过的故事”舍与得(双语)There once was a master who went to india. in those times, we didn't have the communications or airplanes or many kinds of transportation that we do now. so the master went to india on foot. he had never been to india before; perhaps he came from persia. and when he got there, he saw a lot of fruit. in india they have plenty of fruit to sell, but much of it is expensive because they can't grow much due to the water situation. so he saw one basket, a big basket of some very red, long fruit. and it was the cheapest in the shop, not expensive at all.

I must say that I have a wonderful childhood. All memories of my childhood are warm and sweet. As for an interesting experience, I want to say something about shaving. You may wonder that as a girl, why do I say "shaving'? Well, ithappened when I was 4 years old. I noticed that my papa shaving everyday in the morning. I dont have a clear idea of what he did. But obviously, I showed great curiosity about his manual shaver. One day afternoon, my mother was taking a nap, I sneaked into the bathroom and carried a stool there to fetch my fathers shaver. Then I followed my fathers steps, I put foam on my face and began to shave my "beard' on my chin. Then I suddenly felt there was something wrong with the process, I touched some blood although I didnt feel any hurt at all. Finally I was so scared and began to burst out crying. My mama rushed into the bathroom and saw what happened. She grabbed the shaver and helped me clean the wound on the chin. In the following days, she told every family visitor about the details of my story. I remembered that I was laughed at for a long time and I even began to hide myself in my room.I felt it was interesting and I realized the fact that my mother and all visitors made fun of my behaviour is well meant. They liked my innocence and my poor mockery. They thought I was adorable and good at observing. Apart from that, I think the best way for children to explore the world isto experience. The experiences could involve observations, imitations, imaginations and so forth. They may hurt themselves. But hurting is a sort of valuable experience in everyones life. So, you see, I began to know that only my father needs to shave his beard at my home. I have better recognition of gender and according distinctions.3 4雅思口语童年话题怎样回答Describe a game you enjoyed when you were a child. You should say:what the game waswhen, where and with whom you usually played ithow you played itand explain what was special about this game.

最近超高频的考题a happy event in your childhood,但没想到大多数同学的反应是“啊?没什么事”。
经老师的点破、提醒“你可以讲小时候跟爸妈做手工;跟爸妈种树;跟爸妈准备party?”,同学来句“老师,我没童年,说多了都是泪啊?”那么怎么办呢?根据题目中的四个提示问题,逐一展开。

I want to talk about my 8th birthday, which was celebrated in a restaurant near my home. There were about 10 people attending the party.
Actually, it was the most important party that I had in my childhood, so I invited my grandparents and some relatives. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was totally amazed, because the room was decorated with ribbons and balloons. About 5 minutes later, all the lights in the room were turned off. Immediately, a big birthday cake appeared on the table. All my family members stood up and sang the birthday song
to me. After making a wish, I blew the candles. The most unforgettable most came,
when my parents showed the photos and read a letter to me. All the people were quite moved, especially me. I thanked and bowed to them.
To my delight, we went to a KTV to sing songs together after we had finished
the dinner. What a happy day. I guess I will never forget the happy moment that I
had with my family.

The film that I am going to talk about today is Dead Poets Society. When I was a university student, our teacher showed this movie to the class and it was the first time I saw it.
The scene is a very traditional England boys’ school in 1959. The school had a new English teacher that year, Mr. Keating. He brought warmth, passion, and humor there, so boys started to pursue their dreams, regardless of opposition from their family and school. Mr. Keating said “Dead poets were dedicated to sucking the marrow out of life”. And the boys were wishing to live deep and extraordinary. Finally, he was evicted from the school by the headmaster.
I like this film and I am deeply touched by it. Dead Poets Society has the most powerful ending, which impressed me most. While Mr. Keating was leaving the school, his students stood on their desks, saying “Oh captain! My captain! ” to show their respect of the great teacher Mr. Keating had a great impact on them.
Mr. Keating told the boys to seize the day and make their lives extraordinary. He let them stand on the desks to look things in a different way. That’s what I learnt from the film, and why I love it. If one day I became a teacher, I would like to be the one just like Mr. Keating.
