2.注意意群长的数字就如同一个句子,虽然我们经常听到的发音是一整串的,但是也要注意意群。
也就是说每当说到billion,million,thousand这些单位数的时候,经常会做一个简短的停顿,当然也有可能只是意识上的停顿,即只停留在脑子里。
所以学生在平时应该养成按意群阅读和讲英语的习惯。
在听写时也应注意在意群结束时再写下数字。
当然,念的快的数字就只能边听边写或者听完整串数字后再写下来了。
二.-teen和-ty的区分数字中的“十几”和“几十”一直是让学生非常头痛的问题。
我认为在分辨-teen和-ty的时候,有三点值得注意。
1.结尾有无/n/“十几”的最后一个音均为“/n/”,而“几十”的结尾都是元音/i/。
因此,只要是正确的发音,这个区别应当是十分清楚的。

Quick and accurate response to numbers is very important in daily communication. However, number identification through listening proves to be a big problem for many people. In actual listening, we are often required to get the numbers immediately after we hear them. Any failure to get a correct number, sometimes a mere mistake in digit, can seriously affect the understanding of the whole story and therefore cause severe losses. It is important for us to increase our sensitivity to numbers.

由以上几组数字可以看出,多位数由右向左每3 位有一逗号,这个逗号的作用非同小可,在记忆数 字时,它可以帮我们很大的忙! 逆向第一个逗号读 thousand;向左再推三位,第二个逗号读million; 第三个逗号读billion;第四个逗号就是trillion。这几 个逗号的作用在于,当我们听到若干thousand时, 立即写下这个数,并在其后打一个逗号, 并留出3 位; 当听到若干million,则写下数字,并在其后 打一逗号,留出6位;听到若干billion, 方法同上, 在后面留出9位,后面的million、thousand依此法 类推,让所有数字各就其位。
