The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The graph illustrates changes in the amounts of beef, lamb, chicken and fish consumed in a particular European country between 1979 and 2004.In 1979, beef was by far the most popular of these foods, with about 225 grams consumed per person per week. Lamb and chicken were eaten in similar quantities (around 150 grams), while much less fish was consumed (just over 50 grams). However, during this 25-year period the consumption of beef and lamb fell dramatically to approximately 100 grams and 55 grams respectively. The consumption of fish also declined, but much less significantly to just below 50 grams, so although it remained the least popular food, consumption levels were the most stable. The consumption of chicken, on the other hand, showed an upward trend, overtaking that of lamb in 1980 and that of beef in 1989. By2004 it had soared to almost 250 grams per person per week.Overall, the graph shows how the consumption of chicken increased dramatically while the popularity of these other foods decreased over the period. (173 words)The charts compare the sources of electricity in Australia and France in the years1980 and 2000. Between these years, electricity production almost rising from 100 units to 170 in Australia, and from 90 to 180 units in France. In 1980, Australia used coal the main the electricity source (50 units) and the remainder was produced from natural gas, hydro power (each producing 20 units) and oil (which produced only 10 units). By 2000, coal had become the fuel for more than 75% of electricity produced and only hydro continued to be another significant source supplying approximately 20%.In contrast, France used coal as a source for only 25 units of electricity in 1980, which was matched by natural gas. The remaining 40 units were produced largely from oil and nuclear power, with hydro contributing only 5 units. But by 2000, nuclear power, which was not used at all in Australia, had developed into the main source, producing almost 75% of electricity, at 126 units, while coal and oil together produced only 50 units. Other sources were no longer significant.Overall, it is clear that by 2000 these two countries relied on different principal fuel sources: Australia relied on coal and France on nuclear power. The greatest increase was in telephone ownership, rising from 42% in 1972 to 77% in 1983. Next came central heating ownership, rising from 37% of households in 1972 to 64% in 1983. The percentage of households with a refrigerator rose 21% over the same period and of those with a washing machine by 14%. Households with vacuum-cleaners, televisions and dishwashers increased by 8%, 5% and 2%, respectively. In 1983, the year of their introduction, 18% of households had a video recorder. The significant social changes reflected in the statistics are that over the period the proportion of British houses with central heating rose from one to two thirds, and of those with a phone from under a half to over three-quarters. Together with the big increases in the ownership of washing machines and refrigerators, they are evidence of both rising living standards and the trend to lifestyles based on comfort and convenience. There were no figures given for male part-time workers, but female part-time had forty hours of leisure time, only slightly more than women in full-time employment, perhaps reflecting their work in the home.In the unemployed and retired categories, leisure time showed an increase for both sexes, as might have been expected. Here too, men enjoyed more leisure time—over eighty hours, compared with seventy hours for women, perhaps once again reflecting the fact that women spend more time working in the home than men.Lastly, housewives enjoyed approximately fifty-four hours of leisure, on average. There were no figures given for househusbands! Overall, the chart demonstrates that in the categories for which statistics on male leisure time were available, men enjoyed at least ten hours of extra leisure time. (173 words)4. 剑二-Test4-Task1 (Bar chart)The table below shows the figures for imprisonment in five countries between1930 and 1980.Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. The table shows that figures for imprisonment in the five countries mentioned indicate no overall pattern of increase of decrease. In fact there is considerable fluctuation from country to country. In Great Britain the numbers in prison have increased steadily 30,000 to 80,000 in 1980. On the other hand in Australia, and particularly in New Zealand, the numbers fell markedly from 1930 to 1940. Since then they have increased gradually, apart from in 1980 when the numbers in prison in New Zealand fell by about 30,000 from the 1970 total. Canada is the only country in which the numbers in prison have decreased over the period 1930 and 1980, although there have been fluctuations in this trend. The figures for the United States indicate the greatest number of prisoners compared to the other four countries but population size needs to be taken into account in this analysis. The prison population in the United States increased rapidly from 1970 to 1980 and this must be a worrying trend. (167 words)剑七-Test3-Task1 ( Bar chart)Band 6.51.剑一--Practice Test 3, Writing Task 1 (bar chart combined with line graph) The chart below shows the amount of money per week spent on fast foods in Britain. The graph shows the trends in consumption of fast-foods.Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.(Model answer 165 words)The chart shows that high income earners consumed considerably more fast foods than the other income groups, spending more than twice as much on hamburgers (43 pence per person per week) than on fish and chips or pizza (bothunder 20 pence). Average income earners also favoured hamburgers, spending 33 pence per person per week, followed by fish and chips at 24 pence, then pizza at 11 pence. Low income earners appear to spend less than other income groups on fast foods, though fish and chips remains their most popular fast food, followed by hamburgers and then pizza. From the graph we can see that in 1970, fish and chips were twice as popular as burgers, pizza being at that time the least popular fast food. The consumption of hamburgers and pizza has risen steadily over the 20 year period to 1990 while the consumption of fish and chips has been in decline over that same period with a slight increase in popularity since 1985.。

IELTS 7Test 1 WRITING TASK 2It is the generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sports or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. There are millions of people in this world, but only a handful of them could achieve distinguished accomplishments and become specialists in some domain. Personally, I regard it is the innate talent that makes them more outstanding and prevail over others more easily. In all walks of life, only a few individuals who were born with talent could become excellent celebrities, especially in some domain like sports, arts, science and so forth. This has been proved by numerous historical celebrities such as Mozart, Newton, etc. In other words, it is the nature talent rather than techniques that makes a person successful. If this were not true, everyone could be trained to be a high-level sports player, but only one of them could win gold medal. Namely, compared with nurture, nature plays a more essential and fundamental role in determine the winner. Take a musician as an instance. Some people singing well since they were born and they could be taught to be a musician if they practice frequently. However, a person who does not have a singing gift would never be a good singer no matter how scientific he gets trained.Undeniably, it is quite true that practice could improve a person's skill as well. Our education system is exactly based on the belief that every child could effectively taught to acquire different skills, including some singing and sports skills. But I have to emphasize here is that they could be adept in certain domain with practice but they could never become a specialist without inherited talent. Without talent, continuous training would be neither effective nor productive. However, even if an individual with innate talent, appropriate practice and proper training method is also essential in determining whether this person could achieve splendid achievement or not.Having considered all the arguments above, I hold the opinion that any child could be taught to acquire some skills in sports, music, etc. But it is the nature gift and appropriate practice that makes a person could attain distinguished achievement in these areas.。

selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.雅思写作小作文范文The graph shows the increase in the ageing population in Japan, Sweden and the USA.It indicates that the percentage of elderly people in all three countries in expected to increase to almost 25% of the respective populations by the year 2040.In 1940 the proportion of people aged 65 or more stood at only 5% in Japan, approximately 7% in Sweden and 9% in the US.However, while the figures for the Western countries grew to about 15% in around 1990, the figure for Japan dipped to only 2.5% for much of this period, before rising to almost 5% again at the present time.In spite of some fluctuation in the expected percentages, the proportion of older people will probably continue to increase in the next two decades in the three countries.A more dramatic rise is predicted between 2030 and 2040 in Japan, by which time it is thought that the proportion of elderly people will be similar in the three countries.大作文题目:equal male and female in every subject?雅思高分范文:Nowhere in the world has the issue of female rights and interests been so much debated as in our society.Nowadays, plenty of universities limit the number of female students who study in some of subjects;therefore, many people thinkuniversities should accept equal numbers of men and female study in every subject, but others have a negative attitude. As far as I am concerned, I think men and women should gain equal educational opportunities, but accepting equal numbers of male and female, in every subject, is unnecessary and impossible. Therefore, I disagree with the view that universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. My argument in support of my view is as follows. The main reason is that mode of thinking is different between female and male.Everyone, male and female, has equal right to study in universities, nevertheless, due to difference of in thought and views.Men and Women may represent varied study capability.A case in point is that men may possess more talent than women in mathematics, physics and like stuff. In the study of language, on the other hand, female shows stronger ability than male.In the history of human beings, most scientists, especially those who research abstract theories, are male.Another reason is that nature decides different directions of development between men and women.Today, although female’s right is being increased, female still plays a different social role.Women are by nature good at house keeping since the biological function of a woman is first to bring children into the world and then to bring them up and it has been proved by some scientists that women are not good at business management, political administeration, etc.So, in the study of business and management, requiring equal numbers of male and female is not essential. From what has been discussed above, we may draw the conclusion that accepting equal numbers of male and female students in every subject is impossible and I also disagree with this point of view第二篇:剑桥11小作文test1C11Test1The charts compare the proportion of water consumption for different purposes in six areas in the world. It is clear that four areas--South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia--rely on most water for agricultural use, at 71%, 84%,88% and 81% respectively. The percentage of industrial use is 5% more than domestic use in South East Asia while there is an opposite trend in the other three areas.Interestingly, Central Asia has the largest proportion of agricultural use among the four areas but the smallest consumption of industrial use.In contrast, water used in industry makes up the(half)largest parts in both pies for North America and Europe(48% and 53%).39% water is used for agriculture in North America and its counterpart in Europe is 7% less. Both areas have a similar percentage of domestic water use, which occupies 13% and 15% respectively.Overall, water is mainly used for agriculture in South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia while in the other two areas, industry is the principal water consumer. What is worth mentioning is that, there is a more balanced water consumption in these two areas.第三篇:雅思剑5作文test1 task 2题目:Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree? With the discrimination of women in every aspect decreasing, that whether the equal amounts of male and female students should be accepted by universities in all subjects has become a hot topic concerned by many people. There is no need to concede this phenomenon, however.Firstly, facing the examinations of entering the colleges, everybody has equal right to participate in the exam in which the universities can select excellent studentsbasing on the consequence. For instance, if 100 people of which 80 are all boys occupying the heading positions are assigned for one subject, it can not be denied that the university should admit all the 80 boys without any hesitation. The reason that abilities of people rather than the gender should be considered firstly is obvious.Secondly, as we all know, the proportion of women can reach less than 50 percent of all the population in almost every country throughout the world, which means that the probability of a man to be accepted by a college will definitely be smaller than a woman’s on condition that universities accept equal numbers of male and female students in all subjects. So that the number of male and female accepted by universities could be distributed by the gender percentage seems more reasonable. As far as I am concerned, the opportunity for each person to enter the college should be fair, no matter what gender universities select students in accordance with the proportion of gender.(254词)he or she is.And also maybe it is more feasible that第四篇:剑桥雅思8剑桥8 Test1-Task2Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society.Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.Discuss both views and give your own opinion.Currently, an interdisciplinary study of children’s education and psychology is on how to cultivate teens to be good members of society.Personally, parents cannot take this responsibility alone but schools also contribute significantly. From my own perspective, the definition towards being a good member of society lies in two major aspects, namely perception on positive fundamental values as well as contribution to social development.Invariably, I believe it true and reasonable thatleaning core social values, like how to grow up to be a person, or even a good member of society always begins at home and is commonly accepted as the responsibility of parents.Given the fact that cognitive ability of children is far more immature before they reaching the puberty age, parents are accordingly obliged to guide them how to perceive the world at a very beginning phase, such as how to distinguish right from wrong, how to show personal respects and how to foster social conscience. Therefore, what is being taught by parents certainly lays a solid foundation for their later development as young adults. On the other hand, the learning process is continuing especially after they leave home for school where they access to knowledge and gain experience.T o better exemplify, teachers and students from backgrounds of various kinds broaden children’s horizons and enrich their knowledge, which they may not acquire at home.In addition, activities, such as conducting scientific experiments with group members, make it possible that they learn collaboration in group, communication with peers, and contribution to the whole experiment.Hence, it is reasonable to assert that school, as an indispensable element, equips them with professional knowledge and effective communication competence. In conclusion, learning how to be a valuable member does not stop when people leave school. It will take lifetime for them to define the true meaning of good members of society.Besides parents and schools, society as a larger context also is on duty to assist them in every way.第五篇:test1范文实用写作模拟试卷一一、填空题(每空1分,共10分)1、实用写作从它诞生的时候起,就为社会、为国家的管理与领导起了很大的作用。

However, some famous and successful person always recognize them that they are no any talents but success in the final. So, weather the talents can decide the future is hard to illustrate. And here are my own view.I think that talents is an very important factor to decide the future of a person, because there are lots of examples can also demonstrate it. If someone has unique talents for some sports or music, it must help him progress more than others who not have this talents. And there is another advantage of talents is that they will be saw by more people because gift always can attract people. This feature causes the talents to have more chance to performance. The famous basketball player named Curry, who is the famous talents. In 2014, Curry showed a sharply increase in his basketball skills. The most surprising thing is that he start to play basketball when was study in university, and it later than the date of all the nba basketball players. Curry demonstrate the truth of gifts make a people spend less time and energy to get success. On the other hand, it is also true that some people who have no any talents but they still success rely on their teachers and endeavor. I also trust that the endeavor can replace the talents. Although some children have no innovation to study some kinds of skills, they still can try their best to break out the weakness of without talents. Kobe is a famous basketball player too, but experts said that the gift of curry is better than the talents of Kobe. However, Curry never belong the Kobe in basketball. When someone asked Kobe why, he answered:" Have you seen the sun on 5 am." So, Kobe told us that the strive and confident is the second key to get success. In the conclusion, the significance of the strive is the same important as the talents. It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. The relative importance of natural talent and training is a frequent topic of discussion when people try to explain different levels of ability in, for example, sport, art or music.Obviously, education systems are based on the belief that all children can effectively be taught to acquire different skills, including those associated with sport, art or music. So from our own school experience, we can find plenty of evidence to support the view that a child can acquire these skills with continued teaching and guided practices.I personally think that some people do have talents that are probably inherited via their genes. Such talents can give individuals a facility for certain skills that allow them to excel, while more hard-working students never manage to reach a comparable level. But, as with all questions of nature versus nurture, they are not mutually exclusive. Good musicians or artists and exceptional sports stars have probably succeeded because of both good training and natural talent. Without the natural talent, continuous training would be neither attractive nor productive, and without the training, the child would not learn how to exploit and develop their talent. In conclusion. I agree that any child can be taught particular skills, but to be really good in areas such as music, art or sport, then some natural talent is剑7 2-1The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004. So feelings about one’s job must reflect how an individual feels about his or her life as a whole, and because of this, job satisfaction is indeed very important for the well-being of that person.Employees get job satisfaction in a number of ways. Firstly, a person needs tofeel that they are doing valued and valuable work, so positive feedback from superiors is very important in this respect. A sense of fulfillment is also encouraged if a worker feels the job is worth doing because it contributes to the society or the economy as a whole. Secondly , when someone feels they are improving or developing their skills through training opportunities, for example, then there is a sense of progression and purpose that rewards a worker. The sense of belonging to a team or a working community also contributes to job satisfaction because colleagues help each other to enjoy their working lives. Satisfaction is also increased by a sense of responsibility for and loyalty to a team.Of course not everyone enjoys their work. Hard economic realities mean that many people have little choice in the kind of job they can get. In some cases an employee is working in a job that suits neither their skills nor their personality. Some jobs are repetitive and boring, and labour relations may be poor and lead to resentment and insecurity rather than to job satisfaction. However, even though it is unlikely that all workers do feel happy in their worrk, I think it is not unrealistic to promote more job satisfaction in any job. If the factors identified above are implemented, then any job can be improved and more workers can feel greater degrees of job satisfaction.剑7 4-1The pie charts below show units of electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. They charts compare the sources of electricity in Australia and France in the years 1980 and 2000. Writing task 1The table gives the breakdown about data on consumer spending on various items (Food/Drink/ Tobacco, Clothing/Footwear and Leisure/Education) in five different countries (Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey) in 2002.Generally, each country consumed much more in food/ drink/ tobacco where Turkey dominated the first place with 32.14%, standing in marked contrast with Sweden (only 15.77%) than in other 2 categories. In terms of Clothing/ Footwear, Italy expectedly spent most with 9% compared with still Sweden seeing the smallest proportion (5.4%). As for Leisure/ Education, it was Turkey and Spain that consumed the most and least with 4.35% and 1.98% respectively.Additionally, we can see immediately that in food/ drink/ tobacco, after Turkey, Ireland, Spain and Italy came in turn with 28.91%, 18.80% and 16.36%. On the contrary, in Clothing/ Footwear, we failed to see big gap from Spain, Ireland and Sweden in middle positions which saw different reductions of 2.49%, 2.57% and 3.6% in comparison with Italy, likewise, in Leisure/ Education, still small differences were found. To be exact, Turkey was followed by Sweden, Italy and Ireland in a slow falling turn with 3.22%, 3.2% and 2.21%.Writing task 2Whenever people talk about what make successful persons such as outstanding athletes or musicians, their views will certainly differ from that nature fills a dominant role in determining if one may possibly become an expert in some field to that it is nurture that exerts direct effects. It must be admitted that there indeed exist some people born with innate talents which predict the possibility for a would-be winner. In other words, without these suitable characters which more or less are beneficial to master some skills, there is little likelihood to become elites in an area. Also, there is growing evidence that those with born talents achieve more than those who do not have, which naturally become a motivator for further triumph. Therefore, an increasing number of parents begin to observe or even experiment to judge if their children fortunately possess some talents to allow them to excel. However, some people still argue for the belief that with professional and systematic training, each one may have not surprisingly brilliant performance in not only academic but also entertainment field. Those who are capable of making amazing achievement in later days, as a matte of fact, have inherited some talents via genes if researched carefully. As a result,if not having enviable talents, sound education system and hard working can at most quality someone in one field, but never send him/her to the top.In conclusion, my strongly held view is that natural talents are the prerequisite for anyone who desire to be excellent in some areas like sport and art, but subsequent professional training will unquestionably endow anyone with basic skills.。

It‟s nice to see many people in the audience . F or those of you who don‟t know very much about PS Camping , let me start by giving you some background information about the company. The company started twenty-five years ago. It actually opened as a retail chain selling camping equipment and then twenty years ago, itbought a small number of campsites in the UK ,and began offering camping holidays. The company grew rapidly and has been providing holidays in continental Europe for the last fifteen years. If you book a camping holiday with us, you‟ll have a choice of over three hundred sites. In Italy we now have some 64 sites that we either own, or have exclusive use of France is where we have the majority of sites, and we currently have a project to expand into Switzerland. We also have a number of sites in Northern Spain, particularly in the mountainous region of picos de Europa. We‟ve upgraded all these Spanish sites, and improved them considerably from their original three-star ratingWe believe our holidays offer superb facilities for the whole family. Parents who want their children to be fully occupied for all or part of the day can take advantage of our children‟s activities. These are organised by our well-qualified and enthusiastic staff. Each day kicks off a sports match, perhaps football, or volleyball, followed by an hour of drama for everyone. This may include singing or dancing, mime or other activities. In the afternoon, there‟s a different art activity for each day of the week including a poster competition or model making. What‟s more, our sites are truly child-friendly, and, with this in mind, we operate a no-noise rule in the evenings. Children‟s evening activities usually finish at 9:30, or occasionally 10, and from 10:30 holiday-makers are expected to be quiet in the areas where there are tents. We want nothing to go wrong on a PS Camping holiday, but if it does, we also want all customers to be insured. If you haven‟t organised an annual insurance policy of your own you‟ll need to take out the low-cost cover we offer and we require that you arrange this when you take your holiday reservation. There are many advantages to choosing PS Camping, and to recommending it to others. As a regular customer. You‟ll be kept informed of special offers. And your friends can benefit from ten per cent off their holiday, or book a luxury tent for the price of a standard one. In return, we‟ll send you a thank-you present, which you can choose from a list of high-quality items. When it comes to our tents, these are equipped to the highest standard. We really do think of every essential detail, from an oven and cooking rings fuelled by bottled gas, to mirrors in the bedroom areas. If you don‟t want to cook indoors, you can borrow a barbecue if you ask in advance for one to be made available, and there‟s e ven a picnic blanket to sit on outside your tent. Inside, a box of games and toys can be found, and children‟s tents can be hired if required, All tents have a fridge, and if you want to spend the day on the beach, for example, ask for a specially designed PS Camping cool box, which will keep your food and drinks chilled. There are excellent washing facilities at all our sites, with washing machines and clothes lines in the central areas, along with mopsand buckets in case your tent needs cleaning during your stay. All sites have a cafe and/or a shop for those who‟d rather …eat in‟ than dine at a local restaurant.section 3Tutor:Well, you‟ve both been looking at different styles of managing individuals,in companies and the workplace. How‟s the research going, philip?Philip:Well, I‟ve been looking at why individualism, I mean individual difference, are such an important area of management studies. When you think about any organization, be it a family business or a multinational company, they are all fundamentally a group of people working together. But it‟s what these individuals contribute to their pleases of work that makes you realize how important they are. Of course they bring different ideas, but it‟s also their attitudes and their experiences of learning. Diversity is important in these areas too.Tutor:So why do people behave so differently from one another at work? Philip:There are lots of reason but research has shown a lot of it comes down to personality. And the other factor is gender. It‟s a well known fact that men and women do lots of things in different ways, and the workplace is no different.Tutor:Did you look at the effects of this variation on companies?Philip:Yes, I did. On the positive side, exposure to such diversity helps encourage creativity which is generally an asset to a company. But unfortunately individual difference are also the root of conflict between staff and they can lead to difficulties for management, which can sometimes be serious.**********************************************Tutor:Thanks,philip. So now I guess the two main things to remember here are to identify individual talent and then to utilize it. So Janice, you were looking at identifying different talents in workers Do you think this is easy for managers to do?Janice:Well, currently teamwork is in fashion in the workplace and in my opinion the importance of the individual is generally neglected. What managers should be targeting is those employees who can take the lead in a situation and are not afraid to accept the idea of responsibility.Tutor:That‟s true. Janice but unfortunately many managers think the entire notion of encouraging individuality amongst their staff is far too hard.Janice:Yes. That may be true but I think one of the most important tasks of managers is to consider the needs of the individual on one hand and group co-operation and conformity on the other. It requires creative thinking on the part of management to avoid tension.Tutor:So Janice, what kind of people do you think companies should belooking for?Janice Well, it has to start from the very beginning when companies are looking for new employees. When the personal department is choosing between applicants they need to look for someone who‟s broken the mould and can think for themselves. Instead, people making these decisions often ues a range of psychological tests to see if a person is a problem solver, or will do as they‟re told. I‟m not convinced these qualities are actually the most important.Tutor:So do you think being a good team player is overrated?Janice No,it‟s not overrated. You do need to learn the rules and learn them fast. No individual can get around this if you‟re working in an organization.Tutor:So how should managers deal with this?Janice Rewards. When an individual demonstrates, the behaviour the organisation expects, some kind of incentive can be given. What‟s important here is that this happens right at the beginning so new recruits learn the rules of the system immediately. Also the incentive should be something the individual actually wants, and this isn‟t always just money。

剑桥雅思7Test1口语Part3范文-National celebrations(下)4. Q: What kinds of national celebration do you have in your country?A: Chinese people like to celebrate important festivals like the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival. On that day, there is going to be a national party on TV, and some actors and actresses will give performances and the TV viewers are truly entertained by this show. This is also the case during the Mid-Autumn Festival as well. Oh, I forgot to mention, we have the national celebration on the National Day as well.5. Q: Who tends to enjoy national celebrations more: young people or old people? Why?A: I guess old people are going to enjoy national celebrations more. They really care about the traditions of China. They enjoy the get-togethers initiated by the festivals. As for the young, they enjoy the activities to be done at festivals. They love the celebrations just because they love the fun.6. Q: Why do you think some people think that national celebrations are a waste of government money? Would you agree or disagree with this view? Why?A: National celebrations bring about the festival atmosphere. Chinese like to set the fireworks or firecrackers at festivals, and a lot of citizens enjoy the scene. They go to the square to see the firework displays, and they wouldn’t complain that the government is wasting the money.雅思口语考官标准答案剑桥雅思7Test1口语Part3范文:1. Q: What kinds of national celebrations do you have in your country?A: We have several main national holidays in our country. The first and most important is the Spring Festival. This is to celebrate the end of the Chinese lunar year. Another is the Dragon Boat festival. This festival celebrates a famous Chinese poet named Qu Yuan. Still another is Mid Autumn day. During this holiday we eat a traditional dish known as moon cake.2. Q: Who tends to enjoy national celebrations more: young people or old people? Why?A: I think that older people tend to enjoy national celebrations more than the younger generation. Older people tend to value traditional holidays because they feel more connected to them. The younger people like western holidays such as Valentine’s Day because they like the romantic aspects that are not present in national holidays. Also because of an interest in different cultures they like to celebrate holidays that are not part of the Chinese calendar.3. Q: Why do you think some people think that national celebrations are a waste of government money? Would you agree or disagree with this view? Why?A: No, I do not believe that spending money on government celebrations is a waste of money. National holidays are an important part of our culture and help to create a sense of being Chinese. There proud patriotic feelings are shared by all people and the celebrations are for everyone. While some people view the money as misspent, I believe that it is important to properly celebrate our culture and identity.。

Well, you both been looking at different styles of managing individuals in companies and the work place (workplace), how is the research going Phillip, well I’ve looking at why individualism, I mean individual differences are such an important area of management studies. When you think about any organization, be at (it)a family business or a multinational company, there (they) are all fundamentally a group of people working together. But it’s whatrealize how important they are. of course they bring different ideas, but it’s also their altitudes and experiences of learning. Diversity is important in these areas too. So why do people behave so differently from one another at work? Theredown to personality. And the other fact (factor)is gender. It is a well-known fact that man and women do lots of things in different ways and the workplace is no difference (different). Did you look at the effects of these variation on companies? Yes, I did. on the positive side, exposure to such diversity helps encourage creativity which is generally an asset to a company. But unfortunately, individual differences are also the root of conflict between staff, and they can lead to difficulties for management, which can sometimes be serious. Thanks Phillip, so now I guess the two main things to remember here are to identify individual talent and then to utilize it. So Tom you were looking at identifying different talents in workers. Do you think this is easy for managers to do? Well currently, team work (teamwork) is in fashion in the workplace andin my opinion, the importance of the individual is generally neglected. What manager should be targeting is those employees who can take the lead in the situation, and are not afraid to accept the idea of responsibility. That’s true tom, their stuff is far too hard. Yes, that may be true, but I think one of the most important tasks of managers is to consider the needs of the individuals on the one hand, and group cooperation and conformity (conformity) on the other. It requires creative thinking on the part of management to avoid intension (tension). So Tom, what kind of people do you think companies should be looking for? Well, it has to start from the very beginning, when companies are looking for new employees. When the personal (personnel)department is choosing between applicants, they need to look for someone who’s broken the mode (mould), and can think for themselves. Instead people making these decisions often use a range of psychological tests to see if a person is a problem solver or will do what (as)they are told. I’m not convinced these qualities are actually the most important. So do you think being a good team player is overated (overrated)? No, it’s not overrated you do need to learn the rules and learn them fast. No individual can get around this if you are working in an organization. So how should managers deal with this? Rewards, when an individual demonstrates the behavior the organization expects, some kind of incentive can be given. What’s important here is that this happens right at thebeginning so new recruits learn the rules of the system immediately. Also the incentive should be something the individual actually wants and this i sn’t always just money. Come back to you Phillip, you’re(you were)saying that recognition of good performers is essential. What else should managers be looking for? Well managing people means you not only have an understanding of your employees but you also recognize the culture of the organization. In fact, for some organizations, individuality and creativity may be the last thing they want to see during working hours. Very true. Yes, but managing people isn’t as easy as they looks. For example, change i n the workplace can be quite trick, especially if there is a need to increase profit. And at times like these, managers may have to give priority to profit rather than individual staff needs. Yes and that’s creates difficult situations for people. But what’s quite important is that manager are able to deal with quite high levels of personal stress. During times of change, they should be thinking not only about the strain on their staff but to (to) take time out to think of themselves.。

剑桥雅思写作test---------------------------------------小作文题目:The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.范文:The table gives us three pieces of information about subway networks in six cities— the date that the system first opened, the total number of kilometers each system has, and the number of passengers each system carries per year.London has the oldest system, opened in 1863, and the most extensive network, at 394 kilometers, almost double that of the next largest network (Paris). London’ s network carries 775 million passengers per year, less than Paris and Tokyo. Paris’ system was opened in 1900 and is the second largest, at 199 kilometers. It also carries the second largest number of passengers—1191 million per year. Tokyo’ s network opened in 1927 and is 155 kilometers long. It carries more passengers than the others— 1927 million per year. That is over 50% more than Paris and 2. 5 times the number of passengers using London’ s system.Washington DC has had a subway system since 1976. It is 126 kilometers long—close to Tokyo in length, but carrying far fewer passengers— 144 million per year. Kyoto has had a network since 1981. It’ s the shortest of the six, at 11 kilometers, and carries the least number of people— 45 million per year. The network in Los Angeles was opened in 2001, is 28 kilometers long, and carries 50 million people a year. This makes it the second shortest and second lowest in terms of number of passengers.Overall, it can be seen that the three oldest networks are the most extensive and carry the most passengers, whilst the systems in Kyoto and Los Angeles are particularly small.大作文题目:Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on your personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life. Which do you consider to be the major influence?Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.雅思写作范文1:Today the way we consider human psychology and mental development is heavily influenced by the genetic sciences. We now understand the importance of inherited characteristics more than ever before. Yet we are still unable to decide whether an individual’s personality and development are more influenced by genetic factors (nature) or by the environment (nurture). Research, relating to identical twins, has highlighted how significant inherited characteristics can be for an individual’s life. But whether these characteristics are able to develop within the personality of an individual surely depends on whether the circumstances allow such a development. It seems that the experiences we have in life are so unpredictable and so powerful, that they can boost or over-ride other influences, and there seems to be plenty of researchfindings to confirm this.My own view is that there is no one major influence in a person’s life. Instead, the traits we inherit from our parents and the situations and experiences that we encounter in life are constantly interacting. It is the interacting of the two that shapes a person’s personality and dictates how that personality develops. If this were not true, then we would be able to predict the behaviour and character of a person from the moment they were born.In conclusion, I do not think that either nature or nurture is the major influence on a person, but that both have powerful effects. How these factors interact is still unknown t oday and they remain largely unpredictable in a person’s life.雅思写作范文2:Nowadays, according to mental and psychologic science, our personality inherited more characteristics we are born than any other experiences in our life. Many genetic technology can also prove this argument. However, others think what we experience in the life can make more influences on our mind. For my part, I could hardly support the later one.As we known, the personality which we owned when we was born cannot be deleted and forgotten. Just like IQ, even though the brain exercise can raise IQ a little, but it cannot change a lot. Consequently,we can explain our characteristics in thesame way. Some experts' researches showed that most of our mental features form base on our born personality. So, even we may experience something in our rest life, it cannot change our characteristics a lot. Some people who against it may advocate that we can always hear the storis just like: someone who was a bad boy before, however, an events happened to him and changed his spirits. Didn't the above theory cannot explain it? No! Though events can let your life aim turn around, however, the fundamental personality in your deep mind still like before! The events just let you know what you should do, but not force to change your characteristics! In a conclusion, we know the born characteristic is the major influence in our personality. All changes which happen in our rest of life is just a factor to change it little, but not the absolute factor.感谢阅读,欢迎大家下载使用!。

5分The university should not provide so much theoretical knowledge but give students more practical training. Do you agree or disagree? In modern society, more and more people think that the university should not provide so much theoretical knowledge but give students more practical training. However there’s also a lot of people do not agree with them. In my opinion, the university provide student more practical training is very necessary.First, when people come to university, most of them is more than 18 years old, so they have ability to teach-self. That means student can learn theoretical knowledge mainly by self-teaching rather than by lessons.Second, in modern society, the practical ability is becoming more and more important. But in school, students rarely have chance to practice themselves. The most of their life is compare with lots of books rather than practical training. Therefore when graduating from university, many students find them can not adapt social working requirement. That makes them frustrated. If this situation happens, it’ll be the failure of high education of the university.Third, the target of high education is to bring up person with ability for society. The ability can be understood in two points: one is theoretical ability, the other is practical ability. As a result, the practical training is also a very import part in high education. Many universities gradually know that practical training is necessary but most of universities do not make enough effort or even give enough attention to this main task. Thus they could not really complete their duty.So I agree that should not provide so much theoretical knowledge but give students more practical training.6分Some people think that animal experiments are cruel, while others believe that it is good for the development of science. Discuss both views and give your own opinion? The animal experimentation is very difficult issue with a lot of people feeling very strongly of it, we are use the animals for the experimentation in different way, one of most big problem is for test the cosmetics, the images of animals with things put in their eyes for so we are able to look a bit better make many people very angry. Is it necessary? The companies such as the body shop said that they do not experiment on animals and they produce good cosmetics who make money, I am not agree that making the cosmetics that make our faces better does not mean the animals must suffering in terrible ways, it does not seem moral for me. On the other hand we also use the animals for test the new drugs.Without these new drugs people die and suffer when they need not, some of the people believe that the animals should not suffer and die so that we can avoid it, I am not agree here, these people will change the minds when it is they who are die or one of their children, it is sad that the animals have to suffer for this thing but here I believe that the suffering is justify. Is there alternative to the animal experimentation?I’m not expert but I don’t think so, the monkeys are most near biology animals and without test to them, we cannot sure of affects of the new drugs, we test on humans also but only when we know the drugs not a problem to us, the testing on humans without the tests on the animals could make the tragedies. So in conclusion I do not believe that the animal testing is justify for not essential things but for essential things I believe that there is not choice and it is justify.7分You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.In many countries television shows many foreign-made programmes. The dominance of imported entertainment is harmful to the cultures of these countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree? You should write at least 250 words. You should use your own ideas of knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence. In developing countries, where resources limit domestic productions, many programs are imported. They bring people opportunities to broaden outlooks, however, much content contains characters and messages that, at best, are simply not relevant to local cultures, and at worst convey violent images and mass marketing messages, which threatens cultural identification and values. In addition, the pervasive programs block the citizens to have access to their own cultural products. Many people may see the effects that the foreign-made programs bring to the scattered culture. Citizens may be less identified with their own traditions and habits. What’s the worse is that people don’t see the dominance of commercialism on TV programs, which converts their national cultural awareness. Few are really aware that television programs exist solely as a means of delivering culture as marketing tool. The commercial advertising has moved from the obvious and easily ignored sponsorship of programming to more subtle and effective means. The viewers’ consumption trends will be influenced by theforeign-made programs.Television programs define the modes of education and discourse. Most imported TV programs are entertaining, supported by superficial self-esteem. They seldom encourage viewers to think deeper about meanings of life. The viewers may even be lost in the jungle of mixed cultures; and abandon the essence of their own culture to pursue the fashionable but dross part of foreign culture. To save our culture from being overwhelmed by foreign entertainment imports, the government should censor programs and policies in cultural industries to ensure the citizens are not so strongly affected by foreign culture. The government should also developa competitive environment for the production and distribution of national content in all media.。

剑桥雅思阅读7test1原文READING PASSAGE 1You should spend about 20 minutes on Questions 1-13, which are based on Reading Passage 1 below.Let’s Go BatsA Bats have a problem: how to find their way around in the dark. They hunt at night, and cannot use light to help them find prey and avoid obstacles. You might say that this is a problem of their own making, one that they could avoid simply by changing their habits and hunting by day. But the daytime economy is already heavily exploited by other creatures such as birds. Given that there is a living to be made at night, and given that alternative daytime trades are thoroughly occupied, natural selection has favoured bats that make a go of the night-hunting trade. It is probable that the nocturnal trades go way back in the ancestry of all mammals. In the time when the dinosaurs dominated the daytime economy, our mammalian ancestors probably only managed to survive at all because they found ways of scraping a living at night. Only after the mysterious mass extinction of the dinosaurs about 65 million years ago were our ancestors able to emerge into the daylight in any substantial numbers.B Bats have an engineering problem: how to find their way and find their prey in the absence of light. Bats are not the only creatures to face this difficulty today. Obviously the night-flyinginsects that they prey on must find their way about somehow. Deep-sea fish and whales have little or no light by day or by night. Fish and dolphins that live in extremely muddy water cannot see because, although there is light, it is obstructed and scattered by the dirt in the water. Plenty of other modern animals make their living in conditions where seeing is difficult or impossible.C Given the questions of how to manoeuvre in the dark, what solutions might an engineer consider? The first one that might occur to him is to manufacture light, to use a lantern or a searchlight. Fireflies and some fish (usually with the help of bacteria) have the power to manufacture their own light, but the process seems to consume a large amount of energy. Fireflies use their light for attracting mates. This doesn’t require a prohibitive amount of energy: a male’s tiny pinprick of light can be seen by a female from some distance on a dark night, since her eyes are exposed directly to the light source itself. However, using light to find one’s own way around requires vastly more energy, since the eyes have to detect the tiny fraction of the light that bounces off each part of the scene. The light source must therefore be immensely brighter if it is to be used as a headlight to illuminate the path, than if it is to be used as a signal to others. In any event, whether or not the reason is the energy expense, it seems to be the case that, with the possible exception of some weird deep-sea fish, no animal apart from man uses manufactured light to find its way about.D What else might the engineer think of? Well, blind humans sometimes seem to have an uncanny sense of obstacles in their path. It has been given the name ‘facial vision’, because blind people have reported that it feels a bit like the sense of touch, on the face. One report tells of a totally blind boy who could ride histricycle at good speed round the block near his home, using facial vision. Experiments showed that, in fact, facial vision is nothing to do with touch or the front of the face, although the sensation may be referred to the front of the face, like the referred pain in a phantom limb. The sensation of facial vision, it turns out, really goes in through the ears. Blind people, without even being aware of the fact, are actually using echoes of their own footsteps and of other sounds, to sense the presence of obstacles. Before this was discovered, engineers had already built instruments to exploit the principle, for example to measure the depth of the sea under a ship. After this technique had been invented, it was only a matter of time before weapons designers adapted it for the detection of submarines. Both sides in the Second World War relied heavily on these devices, under such codenames as Asdic (British) and Sonar (American), as well as Radar (American) or RDF (British), which uses radio echoes rather than sound echoes.E The Sonar and Radar pioneers didn’t know it then, but all the world now knows that bats, or rather natural selection working on bats, had perfected the system tens of millions of years earlier, and their ‘radar’ achieves feats of detection and navigation that would strike an engineer dumb with admiration. It is technically incorrect to talk about bat ‘radar’, since they do not use radio waves. It is sonar. But the underlying mathematical theories of radar and sonar are very similar, and much of our scientific understanding of the details of what bats are doing has come from applying radar theory to them. The American zoologist Donald Griffin, who was largely responsible for the discovery of sonar in bats, coined the term ‘echolocation’to cover both sonar and radar, whether used by animals or by human instruments.Questions 1-5Reading Passage 1 has five paragraphs, A-E.Which paragraph contains the following information?Write the correct letter, A-E, in boxes 1-5 on your answer sheet.NB You may use any letter more than once.1 examples of wildlife other than bats which do not rely on vision to navigate by2 how early mammals avoided dying out3 why bats hunt in the dark4 how a particular discovery has helped our understanding of bats5 early military uses of echolocationQuestions 6-9Complete the summary below.Choose ONE WORD ONLY from the passage for each answer.Write your answers in boxes 6-9 on your answer sheet.Facial VisionBlind people report that so-called ‘facial vision’is comparable to the sensation of touch on the face. As towns gradually expanded, water was brought from increasingly remote sources, leading to sophisticated engineering efforts such as dams and aqueducts. At the height of the Roman Empire, nine major systems, with an innovative layout of pipes and well-built sewers, supplied the occupants of Rome with as much water per person as is provided in many parts of the industrial world today.B During the industrial revolution and population explosion of the 19th and 20th centuries, the demand for water rose dramatically. Unprecedented construction of tens of thousands of monumental engineering projects designed to control floods, protect clean water supplies, and provide water for irrigation and hydropower brought great benefits to hundreds of millions of people. Food production has kept pace with soaring populations mainly because of the expansion of artificial irrigation systems that make possible the growth of 40 % of the world’s food. Nearly one fifth of all the electricity generated worldwide is produced by turbines spun by the power of falling water.C Yet there is a dark side to this picture: despite our progress, half of the world’s population still suffers, with water services inferior to those available to the ancient Greeks and Romans. As the United Nations report on access to water reiterated in November 2001, more than one billion people lack access to clean drinking water; some two and a half billion do not have adequate sanitation services. Preventable water-related diseases kill an estimated 10,000 to 20,000 children every day, and the latest evidence suggests that we are falling behind in efforts to solve these problems.D The consequences of our water policies extend beyond jeopardising human health. Tens of millions of people have been forced to move from their homes — often with little warning or compensation — to make way for the reservoirs behind dams. More than 20 % of all freshwater fish species are now threatened or endangered because dams and water withdrawals have destroyed the free-flowing river ecosystems where they thrive. Certain irrigation practices degrade soil quality and reduce agricultural productivity. Groundwater aquifers_are being pumped down faster than they are naturally replenished in parts of India, China, the USA and elsewhere. And disputes over shared water resources have led to violence and continue to raise local, national and even international tensions._underground stores of waterE At the outset of the new millennium, however, the way resource planners think about water is beginning to change. The focus is slowly shifting back to the provision of basic human and environmental needs as top priority — ensuring ‘some for all,’instead of ‘more for some’. Some water experts are now demanding that existing infrastructure be used in smarter waysrather than building new facilities, which is increasingly considered the option of last, not first, resort. This shift in philosophy has not been universally accepted, and it comes with strong opposition from some established water organisations. Nevertheless, it may be the only way to address successfully the pressing problems of providing everyone with clean water to drink, adequate water to grow food and a life free from preventable water-related illness.F Fortunately — and unexpectedly — the demand for water is not rising as rapidly as some predicted. As a result, the pressure to build new water infrastructures has diminished over the past two decades. Although population, industrial output and economic productivity have continued to soar in developed nations, the rate at which people withdraw water from aquifers, rivers and lakes has slowed. And in a few parts of the world, demand has actually fallen.G What explains this remarkable turn of events? Two factors: people have figured out how to use water more efficiently, and communities are rethinking their priorities for water use. Throughout the first three-quarters of the 20th century, the quantity of freshwater consumed per person doubled on average; in the USA, water withdrawals increased tenfold while the population quadrupled. But since 1980, the amount of water consumed per person has actually decreased, thanks to a range of new technologies that help to conserve water in homes and industry. In 1965, for instance, Japan used approximately 13 million gallons_of water to produce $1 million of commercial output; by 1989 this had dropped to 3.5 million gallons (even accounting for inflation) —almost a quadrupling of water productivity. In the USA, water withdrawals have fallen by morethan 20 % from their peak in 1980.H On the other hand, dams, aqueducts and other kinds of infrastructure will still have to be built, particularly in developing countries where basic human needs have not been met. But such projects must be built to higher specifications and with more accountability to local people and their environment than in the past. And even in regions where new projects seem warranted, we must find ways to meet demands with fewer resources, respecting ecological criteria and to a smaller budget.Questions 21-26Do the following statements agree with the information given in Reading Passage 2?In boxes 21-26 on your answer sheet, writeYES if the statement agrees with the claims of the writerNO if the statement contradicts the claims of the writerNOT GIVEN if it is impossible to say what the writer thinks about this21 Water use per person is higher in the industrial world than it was in Ancient Rome.22 Feeding increasing populations is possible due primarily to improved irrigation systems.23 Modern water systems imitate those of the ancient Greeks and Romans.24 Industrial growth is increasing the overall demand for water.25 Modern technologies have led to a reduction in domestic water consumption.26 In the future, governments should maintain ownership of water infrastructures.READING PASSAGE 3You should spend about 20 minutes on Questions 27-40, which are based on Reading Passage 3 below.EDUCATING PSYCHEEducating Psyche by Bernie Neville is a book which looks at radical new approaches to learning, describing the effects of emotion, imagination and the unconscious on learning. One theory discussed in the book is that proposed by George Lozanov, which focuses on the power of suggestion.Lozanov’s instructional technique is based on the evidence that the connections made in the brain through unconscious processing (which he calls non-specific mental reactivity) are more durable than those made through conscious processing. Besides the laboratory evidence for this, we know from our experience that we often remember what we have perceived peripherally, long after we have forgotten what we set out to learn. If we think of a book we studied months or years ago, we will find it easier to recall peripheral details —the colour, the binding, the typeface, the table at the library where we sat while studying it — than the content on which we were concentrating. If we think of a lecture we listened to with great concentration, we will recall the lecturer’s appearance and mannerisms, our place in the auditorium, the failure of the air-conditioning, much more easily than the ideas we went to learn. Even if these peripheral details are a bit elusive, they come back readily in hypnosis or when we relive the event imaginatively, as in psychodrama. The details of the content of the lecture, on the other hand, seem to have gone forever. This phenomenon can be partly attributed to the common counterproductive approach to study (making extreme efforts to memorise, tensing muscles, inducing fatigue), but it also simplyreflects the way the brain functions. Lozanov therefore made indirect instruction (suggestion) central to his teaching system. In suggestopedia, as he called his method, consciousness is shifted away from the curriculum to focus on something peripheral. The curriculum then becomes peripheral and is dealt with by the reserve capacity of the brain. The suggestopedic approach to foreign language learning provides a good illustration. In its most recent variant (1980), it consists of the reading of vocabulary and text while the class is listening to music. The first session is in two parts. In the first part, the music is classical (Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms) and the teacher reads the text slowly and solemnly, with attention to the dynamics of the music. The students follow the text in their books. This is followed by several minutes of silence. In the second part, they listen to baroque music (Bach, Corelli, Handel) while the teacher reads the text in a normal speaking voice. During this time they have their books closed. During the whole of this session, their attention is passive; they listen to the music but make no attempt to learn the material.Beforehand, the students have been carefully prepared for the language learning experience. Through meeting with the staff and satisfied students they develop the expectation that learning will be easy and pleasant and that they will successfully learn several hundred words of the foreign language during the class. In a preliminary talk, the teacher introduces them to the material to be covered, but does not ‘teach’ it. Likewise, the students are instructed not to try to learn it during this introduction. Some hours after the two-part session, there is a follow-up class at which the students are stimulated to recall the materialpresented. Once again the approach is indirect. The students do not focus their attention on trying to remember the vocabulary, but focus on using the language to communicate (e.g. through games or improvised dramatisations). Such methods are not unusual in language teaching. What is distinctive in the suggestopedic method is that they are devoted entirely to assisting recall. The ‘learning’ of the material is assumed to be automatic and effortless, accomplished while listening to music. The teacher’s task is to assist the students to apply what they have learned paraconsciously, and in doing so to make it easily accessible to consciousness. Another difference from conventional teaching is the evidence that students can regularly learn 1000 new words of a foreign language during a suggestopedic session, as well as grammar and idiom.Lozanov experimented with teaching by direct suggestion during sleep, hypnosis and trance states, but found such procedures unnecessary. Hypnosis, yoga, Silva mind-control, religious ceremonies and faith healing are all associated with successful suggestion, but none of their techniques seem to be essential to it. Such rituals may be seen as placebos. Lozanov acknowledges that the ritual surrounding suggestion in his own system is also a placebo, but maintains that without such a placebo people are unable or afraid to tap the reserve capacity of their brains. Like any placebo, it must be dispensed with authority to be effective. Just as a doctor calls on the full power of autocratic suggestion by insisting that the patient take precisely this white capsule precisely three times a day before meals, Lozanov is categoric in insisting that the suggestopedic session be conducted exactly in the manner designated, by trained and accredited suggestopedic teachers. While suggestopedia has gained some notoriety through success in the teaching of modern languages, few teachers are able to emulate the spectacular results of Lozanov and his associates. We can, perhaps, attribute mediocre results to an inadequate placebo effect. The students have not developed the appropriate mind set. They are often not motivated to learn through this method. They do not have enough ‘faith’. They do not see it as ‘real teaching’, especially as it does not seem to involve the ‘work’ they have learned to believe is essential to learning.Questions 27-30Choose the correct letter, A, B, C or D.Write the correct letter in boxes 27-30 on your answer sheet.27 The book Educating Psyche is mainly concerned withA the power of suggestion in learning.B a particular technique for learning based on emotions.C the effects of emotion on the imagination and the unconscious.D ways of learning which are not traditional.28 Lozanov’s theory claims that, when we try to remember things,A unimportant details are the easiest to recallB concentrating hard produces the best results.C the most significant facts are most easily recalled.D peripheral vision is not important.29 In this passage, the author uses the examples of a book and a lecture to illustrate thatA both of these are important for developing concentration.B his theory about methods of learning is valid.C reading is a better technique for learning than listening.D we can remember things more easily under hypnosis.30 Lozanov claims that teachers should train students toA memorise details of the curriculum.B develop their own sets of indirect instructions.C think about something other than the curriculum content.D avoid overloading the capacity of the brain.Questions 31-36Do the following statements agree with the information given in Reading Passage 37In boxes 31-36 on your answer sheet, writeTRUE if the statement agrees with the informationFALSE if the statement contradicts the informationNOT GIVEN if there is no information on this31 In the example of suggestopedic teaching in the fourth paragraph, the only variable that changes is the music.32 Prior to the suggestopedia class, students are made aware that the language experience will be demanding.33 In the follow-up class, the teaching activities are similar to those used in conventional classes.34 As an indirect benefit, students notice improvements in their memory.35 Teachers say they prefer suggestopedia to traditional approaches to language teaching.36 Students in a suggestopedia class retain more new vocabulary than those in ordinary classes.Questions 37-40Complete the summary using the list of words, A-K, below.Write the correct letter, A-K, in boxes 37-40 on your answer sheet.Suggestopedia uses a less direct method of suggestion thanother techniques such as hypnosis. 剑桥7Test1写作范文Writing task 1The table gives the breakdown about data on consumer spending on various items (Food/Drink/ Tobacco, Clothing/Footwear and Leisure/Education) in five different countries (Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey) in 2002.Generally, each country consumed much more in food/ drink/ tobacco where Turkey dominated the first place with 32.14%, standing in marked contrast with Sweden (only 15.77%) than in other 2 categories.

作文题目:It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not。

However ,it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good person or musician.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion学生原文:Everyone believed that talents is the essential requirement to be successful. However, some famous and successful person always recognize them that they are no any talents but success in the final. So, weather the talents can decide the future is hard to illustrate. And here are my own view. I think that talents is an very important factor to decide the future of a person, because there are lots of examples can also demonstrate it. I also trust that the endeavor can replacethe talents. If you want to be a sported or musicals, the talents and strive both can take you to the path of success.● 文中标识:用词不当逻辑错误语法错误修改添加Everyone believed that talents is the essential requirement to be successful.
