看图主要关注画面的标题、标注文字，画面里有什么人、什么事，人物的身份、年龄、职业，特别是“语言”与“动作”的细节，把准确握漫画的整体倾向是讽刺还是赞扬。
这些都能帮助我们理解题意，可以说“一枝”、“一叶”都关系到对整个画面寓意的理解。
如今年的高考全国卷一的漫画作文题（见图一）中的人物语言的尾字“吧”都至关重要，它能让我们感觉到社会、学校、家长对孩子摔了一跤的态度。
如果不看全面的话，有时立意就会失之偏颇。
如有些同学只看到西瓜皮，而忽略了其他画面，立意为“环保”“创卫”就明显偏题了。
