Step 1:R evision
Talk about the family and the jobs, Such as; My father is a worker. Show some pictures and present the words and phrases: doctor, reporter, policeman, policewoman, waiter, bank clerk, shop assistant. Revise different jobs that are shown in the picture. Step 2:Pairwork
Get the students to rea d the words and phrases. Ask some students to act in pairs. Show some pictures and practice the drills: What does he\she do? He\She is a student \doctor…
What does he want to be? He \She wants to be a…Step 3: Presentaton
The teacher show some pictures, and talk about the jobs, Such as; I am a teacher, And I work in a school. Go on to talk about the other pictures like this. Teach the new words: hospital, TV station, police station. P ractice the new words and the new drills.
Step 4: Pair-work
Practice the new drills. The teach er asks, the students answer

Work in pairs. Practise the co nversation on the right. Use the jobs and places in the p ictures.

Look at the picture and match the jobs with t he people in the pictures. Such as; I see a lot of money every day. But it’s not mine. I count it for other people match the ban k clerk. Play a guessing game. The teacher show some pictures, and ask the students to guess what the people in the pictures do. And talk about the jobs like 3a. Draw a picture of someone at work.
Can your classmates guess the job? Just like: Is he a police officer? No, he isn’t? Is he a waiter? Yes, he is.
