Pause...then Accelerate!I hit 13 out of 14 narrow fairways at Oakmont. Pacing my tee swing was the key.To say I drove the ball great during the final round of the 1973 U.S. Open is an understatement. The only fairway I missed was on the par-5 12th, where the ball barely trickled into the right rough (I still made birdie). A lot has been made about the voice in my head that told me to open my stance just minutes before teeing off, but there's more to my driving success that week than that. I was really into using a light grip pressure at the time and making an extra-slow backswing. I mean really slow, then pausing at the top as soon as I felt my leftshoulder hit my chin. I never rushed my transition, which a lot of amateurs do. Think about it: If you use 30 percent of your energy at the top, you'll only have 70 percent left for impact. My goal in swinging the club back slowly and pausing at the top was simply to save the energy in my swing for the strike, where I'd snap my left leg straight and sort of mush the clubface into the back of the ball. It worked. The zero-roll, 280-yard drive I hit on No. 18, complete with a noticeable pause at the top, was the longest one hit on that hole all day.2、控制好距离 TO CONTROL DISTANCE头部保持稳定。

Here's the official guide to the rules of golf, so you can be a pro on the course!Rule 1: Be honest and respectfulWhen you're playing golf, it's super important to be honest and respectful. That means you should keep track of your own score and follow the rules of the game. If you make a mistake, like hitting the ball out of bounds or into a water hazard, just take a penalty stroke and keep playing.Rule 2: Tee offWhen you start a hole, you need to tee off from the tee box. That means you place your golf ball on a small peg called a tee and hit it with your golf club. Make sure you don't step over the tee markers or you'll get a penalty stroke!Rule 3: Playing the holeAfter you tee off, you need to hit your ball towards the hole. The goal is to get your ball into the hole in as few strokes as possible. You can hit your ball from anywhere on the course as long as it's not out of bounds or in a water hazard.Rule 4: PuttingWhen you're close to the hole, you need to putt the ball into the hole. You can use a special golf club called a putter for this. The fewer strokes you take to get the ball into the hole, the better your score will be!Rule 5: ObstaclesSometimes there are obstacles on the course, like trees, bunkers, or water hazards. If your ball lands in an obstacle, you might have to take a penalty stroke to get it back onto the course. Just remember to play it where it lies and follow the rules.Rule 6: EtiquetteIt's important to follow golf etiquette when you're on the course. That means being quiet when someone is about to tee off or putt, fixing your divots, and not walking in someone else's line on the green. Golf is a gentleman's game, so always be polite and respectful. So there you have it, the official guide to the rules of golf! Follow these rules and you'll be a pro in no time. Have fun and enjoy the game!篇8Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk to you about the official rules guide for golf, which is a super fun and cool game to play with your friends and family. Golf is all about hitting a little ball into a hole in as few strokes as possible. It's kind of like a big puzzle that you have to solve with your golf clubs! So, let's dive into the rules of golf. The first thing you need to know is that there are 34 rules in total, and they cover everything from how to tee off to what to do if your ball lands in a tricky spot. You can find the complete list of rules in the official rules guide for golf, which you can download online or pick up at your local golf course. One of the most important rules in golf is to play the ball as it lies. That means you can't move the ball to a better spot, even if it's in a tough spot like the rough or a sand trap. You also have to play the ball where it lands, so if it bounces into the water or out of bounds, you have to take a penalty stroke and play from where it went out.Another important rule is to always play fair and be honest with your score. It's not only about winning, but also about having fun and playing with integrity. So make sure to keep track of your strokes and be honest about your score.Overall, golf is a super fun game that anyone can play. Just remember to follow the rules, play fair, and most importantly, have a great time out on the course with your friends. Happy golfing!篇9Hey guys, have you ever played golf before? If you hit the ball out of bounds or into a water hazard, you gotta take a penalty and move your ball back to where you hit it from.Rule number two: You can't touch the ball once you've hit it, except to place it on a tee or move it away from obstacles. That's called a penalty too if you do that.Rule number three: There are different clubs you can use to hit the ball. Each one is for a different distance or situation. Make sure you choose the right one for the shot you're trying to make.Rule number four: You gotta be quiet and respectful when someone else is taking their shot. No talking or moving around while they're swinging their club. You don't wanna distract them and mess up their shot.Rule number five: Keep up with the pace of play. Play GolfTo maintain this one o’clock posture through to the end, it helps to picture your head resting on a pillow at the finish.Since the lie angle (the angle from the ground to the shaft when the club is soled) of most clubs is built around 60 degrees -- about 65 degrees for the shortest clubs and 55 degrees for the longest -- you must bend forward about 30 degrees, or to one o’clock, to reach this o ptimum 90-degree angle. When your address is too erect (12 o’clock posture) or bent over (two o’clock posture), it’s almost impossible to swing the club on this path. When vertical, the tendency is to roll the arms early during the takeaway, promoting a very round swing path. The likely result is a pull and maybe even a topped shot. When hunched over, the tendency is to swing the club too much from the inside. This makes it difficult to clear the left side of the body out of the way during the downswing, leading to an open clubface, and, in most cases, a shot pushed to the right.ESTABLISHING THE correct forward tilt at address is only one element of good posture. The other is making sure all your weight-bearing joints are lined up at address. The top of your spine, insides of your elbows, fronts of your knee caps, and balls of your feet should be aligned vertically. This promotes good balance and posture during the swing. At address, picture yourself standing on a balance beam. To prevent yourself from falling off, you have to balance out these joints. Leaning too far back (on your heels) or too far forward (on your toes) will tip you off the beam.。
