对全球化的理解英语作文

Globalization: A Complex PhenomenonShaping the Modern WorldIn the contemporary era, globalization has become a pervasive force, transforming the way we live, work, and interact with each other. It is a complex phenomenon that encompasses various aspects of human life, from economic interdependence to cultural exchanges, technological advancements, and political alignments. This essay aims to delve into the understanding of globalization, examiningits impacts, challenges, and opportunities from a multidisciplinary perspective.Economically, globalization has opened up new horizons of opportunities for businesses and nations. The emergence of global markets and trade agreements has facilitated the flow of goods, services, and capital across borders. This integration has led to increased economic growth and prosperity for many countries, as they tap into new sources of supply, demand, and investment. However, the benefits of globalization are not evenly distributed, and its economic impacts are often uneven, creating disparities between rich and poor nations.Cultural globalization, on the other hand, has brought about a融合 of diverse cultural identities and traditions. The exchange of ideas, values, and lifestyles across borders has enriched the global cultural landscape, promoting mutual understanding and respect. However, this cultural exchange can also lead to the marginalization of minority cultures and the homogenization of global culture, threatening the diversity and uniqueness of local traditions.Technological advancements have been a driving force behind globalization, enabling faster and more efficient communication and transportation. The internet, in particular, has revolutionized the way we access and share information, breaking down geographical barriers and connecting people from different parts of the world. However, the rapid pace of technological change also poses challenges, such as digital divide, privacy concerns, and cybersecurity threats.Politically, globalization has led to the formation of transnational institutions and alliances, facilitating cooperation and coordination among nations. The UnitedNations, the World Trade Organization, and other international bodies have played crucial roles in promoting global peace, stability, and prosperity. However, globalization has also given rise to new challenges, such as terrorism, climate change, and refugee crises, that require collective and coordinated global responses.Despite its benefits, globalization has also given rise to concerns about its negative impacts. One of the most significant challenges is the widening gap between the rich and the poor, both within and between nations. The benefits of globalization often accrue to a privileged few, while the costs are borne by the vulnerable and marginalized sections of society. This inequality can lead to social tensions and conflicts that can undermine the stability and progress of nations.Another challenge is the loss of local identity and culture in the face of globalization. As global brands, popular culture, and consumer goods flood into local markets, they can erode the uniqueness and distinctiveness of local traditions and customs. This can lead to a loss ofcultural diversity and a homogenization of global culture that is devoid of the rich tapestry of local identities.Nevertheless, globalization remains an inevitable trend that shapes the modern world. It offers unprecedented opportunities for growth, development, and progress butalso poses challenges that need to be addressed. It is crucial that we embrace globalization while also fostering inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural diversity. By doing so, we can harness the transformative power of globalization to create a more equitable, harmonious, and prosperous world.**全球化:塑造现代世界的复杂现象**在当代时代,全球化已经成为一种无处不在的力量,改变着我们的生活方式、工作方式和彼此交往的方式。

GRE考试写作范文IssueThere is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observers expectations or desires. The speaker claims that all observation is subjective--colored by desire and expectation. While it would be tempting to concede that we all see things differently, careful scrutiny of the speakers claim reveals that it confuses observation with interpretation. In fact, in the end the speakers claim relies entirely on the further claim that there is no such thing as truth and that we cannot truly know anything. While this notion might appeal to certain existentialists and epistemologists, it runs against the grain of all scientific discovery and knowledge gained over the last 500 years. It would be tempting to afford the speakers claim greater merit than it deserves. After all, our everyday experience as humans informs us that we often disagree about what we observe around us. Weve all uttered and heard uttered many times the phase Thats not the way I see it! Indeed, everyday observations--for example, about whether a footballplayer was out of bounds, or about which car involved in an accident ran the red light--vary depending not only on ones spatial perspective but also on ones expectations or desires. If Im rooting for one football team, or if the player is well-known for his ability to make great plays while barely staying in bounds, my desires or expectations might influence what I think I observe. Or if I am driving one of the cars in the accident, or if one car is a souped-up sports car, then my desires or expectations will in all likelihood color my perception of the accidents events. However, these sorts of subjective observations are actually subjective interpretations of what we observe. Visitors to an art museum might disagree about the beauty of a particular work, or even about which color predominates in that work. In a court trial several jurors might view the same videotape evidence many times, yet some jurors might observe an incident of police brutality, will others observe the appropriate use of force to restrain a dangerous individual. Thus when it comes to making judgments about what we observe and about remembering what we observe, each persons individual perspective, values, and even emotions help form these judgments and recollections. It is crucial to distinguish between interpretations such as these and observation, which is nothing more than a sensory experience. Given the same spatial perspective and sensory acuity and awareness, it seems to me that our observations would all be essentially in accord--that is,observation can be objective.Lending credence to my position is Francis Bacons scientific method, according to which we can know only that which we observe, and thus all truth must be based on empirical observation. This profoundly important principle serves to expose and strip away all subjective interpretation of observation, thereby revealing objective scientific truths. For example, up until Bacons time the Earth was observed to lie at the center of the Universe, in accordance with the prevailing religious notion that man (humankind) was the center of Gods creation. Applying Bacons scientific method Galileo exposed the biased nature of this claim. Similarly, before Einstein time and space were assumed to be linear, in accordance with our observation. Einsteins mathematical formulas suggested otherwise, and his theories have been proven empirically to be true. Thus it was our subjective interpretation of time and space that led to our misguided notions about them. Einstein, like historys other most influential scientists, simply refused to accept conventional interpretations of what we all observe. In sum, the speaker confuses observation with interpretation and recollection. It is how we make sense of what we observe, not observation itself, that is colored by our perspective, expectations, and desires. The gifted individuals who can set aside their subjectivity and delve deeper into empirical evidence, employing Bacons scientificmethod, are the ones who reveal that observation not only can be objective but must be objective if we are to embrace the more fundamental notion that knowledge and truth exist.GRE考试写作范文IssueBoth parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.Should parents and communities participate in local education because education is too important to leave to professional educators, as the speaker asserts? It might be tempting to agree with the speaker, based on a parents legal authority over, familiarity with, and interest in his or her own children. However, a far more compelling argument can be made that, except for major decisions such as choice of school, a childs education is best left to professional educators.Communities of parents concerned about their childrens education rely on three arguments for active parental and community participation in that process. The first argument, and the one expressed most often and vociferously, is that parents hold the ultimately legal authority to make key decisions about what and how their own children learn including choice of curriculum and text books, pace and schedule for learning, and the extent to which their child should learn alongside other children. The second argument is that only a parent can truly know theunique needs of a child including what educational choices are best suited for the child. The third argument is that parents are more motivated--by pride and ego--than any other person to take whatever measures are needed to ensure their children receive the best possible education.Careful examination of these three arguments, however, reveals that they are specious at best. As for the first one, were we to allow parents the right to make all major decisions regarding the education of their children, many children would go with little or no education. In a perfect world parents would always make their childrens education one of their highest priorities. Yet, in fact many parents do not. As for the second argument, parents are not necessarily best equipped to know what is best for their child when it comes to education. Although most parents might think they are sufficiently expert by virtue of having gone through formal education themselves, parents lack the specialized training to appreciate what pedagogical methods are most effective, what constitutes a balanced education, how developmental psychology affects a childs capacity for learning at different levels and at different stages of childhood. Professional educators, by virtue of their specialized training in these areas, are far better able to ensure that a child receives a balanced, properly paced education. There are two additional compelling arguments against thespeakers contention. First, parents are too subjective to always know what is truly best for their children. For example, many parents try to overcome their own shortcomings and failed self-expectations vicariously through their childrens accomplishments. Most of us have known parents who push their child to excel in certain areas--to the emotional and psychological detriment of the child. Secondly, if too many parties become involved in making decisions about day-to-day instruction, the end result might be infighting, legal battles, boycotts, and other protests, all of which impede the educational process; and the ultimate victims are the children themselves. Finally, in many jurisdictions parents now have the option of schooling their children at home, as long as certain state requirements are met. In my observation, home schooling allows parents who prefer it great control over a childs education, while allowing the professional educators to discharge their responsibilities as effectively as possible--unfettered by gadfly parents who constantly interfere and intervene. In sum, while parents might seem better able and better motivated to make key decisions about their childs education, in many cases they are not. With the possible exceptions of responsible home-schoolers, a childs intellectual, social, and psychological development is at risk when communities of parents dominate the decision-making process involving education.GRE考试写作范文IssueStudents should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively. The speaker contends that students should be skeptical in their studies, and should not accept passively whatever they are taught. In my view, although undue skepticism might be counterproductive for a young childs education, I strongly agree with the speaker otherwise. If we were all to accept on blind faith all that we are taught, our society would never progress or evolve.Skepticism is perhaps most important in the physical sciences. Passive acceptance of prevailing principles quells innovation, invention, and discovery. In fact, the very notion of scientific progress is predicated on rigorous scientific inquiry--in other words, skepticism. And history is replete with examples of students of science who challenged what they had been taught, thereby paving the way for scientific progress. For example, in challenging the notion that the Earth was in a fixed position at the center of the universe, Copernicus paved the way for the corroborating observations of Galileo a century later, and ultimately for Newtons principles of gravity upon which all modern science is based. The staggering cumulative impact of Copernicus rejection of what he had been taught is proof enough of the value of skepticism. The value of skepticism is not limited to the physical sciences, of course. In the fields of sociology and political science, students must think critically about the assumptions underlying the status quo; otherwise, oppression, tyranny and prejudice go unchecked. Similarly, while students of the law must learn to appreciate timeless legal doctrines and principles, they must continually question the fairness and relevance of current laws. Otherwise, our laws would not evolve to reflect changing societal values and to address new legal issues arising from our ever-evolving technologies.Even in the arts, students must challenge established styles and forms rather than learn to imitate them; otherwise, no genuinely new art would ever emerge. Bee-bop musicians such as Charlie Parker demonstrated through their wildly innovative harmonies and melodies their skepticism about established rules for harmony and melody. In the area of dance Ballanchine showed by way of his improvisational techniques his skepticism about established rules for choreography. And Germanys Bauhaus School of Architecture, to which modern architecture owes its existence, was rooted in skepticism about the proper objective, and resulting design, of public buildings.Admittedly, undue skepticism might be counterproductive in educating young children. I am not an expert in developmental psychology; yet observation and common sense informs me thatyoungsters must first develop a foundation of experiential knowledge before they can begin to think critically about what they are learning. Even so, in my view no student, no matter how young, should be discouraged from asking Why? and Why not?To sum up, skepticism is the very stuff that progress is made of, whether it be in science, sociology, politics, the law, or the arts. Therefore, skepticism should be encouraged at all but the most basic levels of education.GRE考试写作范文IssueThe only responsibility of corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, is to make as much money as possible for their companies.Should the only responsibility of a business executive be to maximize business profits, within the bounds of the law? In several respects this position has considerable merit; yet it ignores certain compelling arguments for imposing on businesses additional obligations to the society in which they operate. On the one hand are two convincing arguments that profit maximization within the bounds of the law should be a business executives sole responsibility. First, imposing on businesses additional duties to the society in which they operate can, paradoxically, harm that society. Compliance with higher ethical standards than the lawrequires--m such areas as environmental impact and workplace conditions--adds to business expenses and lowers immediate profits. In turn, lower profits can prevent the socially conscious business from creating more jobs, and from keeping its prices low and the quality of its products and services high. Thus if businesses go further than their legal duties in serving their communities the end result might be a net disservice to those communities.Secondly, by affirming that profit maximization within legal bounds is the most ethical behavior possible for business, we encourage private enterprise, and more individuals enter the marketplace in the quest of profits. The inevitable result of increased competition is lower prices and better products, both of which serve the interests of consumers. Moreover, since maximizing profits enhances the wealth of a companys stakeholders, broad participation in private enterprise raises the wealth of a nation, expands its economy, and raises its overall standard of living and quality of life.On the other hand are three compelling arguments for holding business executives to certain responsibilities m addition to profit maximization and to compliance with the letter of the law. First, a growing percentage of businesses are related to technology, and haws often lag behind advances in technology. As a result, new technology-based products and services might pose potential harm toconsumers even though they conform to current laws. For example, Internet commerce is still largely unregulated because our lawmakers are slow to react to the paradigm shift from brick-and-mortar commerce to e-commerce. As a result, unethical marketing practices, privacy invasion, and violations of intellectual-property rights are going unchecked for lack of regulations that would clearly prohibit them.Secondly, since a nations laws do not extend beyond its borders, compliance with those laws does not prevent a business from doing harm elsewhere. Consider, for example, the trend among U.S. businesses in exploiting workers in countries where labor laws are virtually non-existent in order to avoid the costs of complying with U.S. labor laws.Thirdly, a philosophical argument can be made that every business enters into an implied social contract with the community that permits it to do business, and that this social contract, although not legally enforceable, places a moral duty on the business to refrain from acting in ways that will harm that community. In sum, I agree with the statement insofar as in seeking to maximize profits a business serves not only itself but also its employees, customers, and the overall economy. Yet todays rapidly changing business environment and increasing globalization call for certain affirmative obligations beyond the pursuit of profit and mere compliance with enforceable rules and regulations. Moreover, in the final analysis anybusiness is indebted to the society in which it operates for its very existence, and thus has a moral duty, regardless of any legal obligations, to pay that debt.GRE考试写作范文Issue。
我所理解的全球化英文小作文

我所理解的全球化英文小作文Globalization, a phenomenon that has profoundly shaped the world we live in, is a complex and multifaceted concept that encompasses economic, social, and cultural transformations. As I contemplate the notion of globalization, I am struck by the far-reaching implications it has had on our lives, both at the individual and collective levels. At its core, globalization is the increased interconnectedness and interdependence of the world's economies, societies, and cultures. This process has been driven by advancements in technology, the liberalization of trade and investment policies, and the rapid exchange of information and ideas across borders. The world has become a global village, where the actions and decisions of one nation can have rippling effects on the rest of the world. One of the most significant impacts of globalization has been the integration of national economies into a single, interdependent global economic system. This has led to the increased flow of goods, services, capital, and labor across national boundaries, creating new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike. Multinational corporations have emerged as powerful players, leveraging their global reach to maximize profits and efficiency. The rise of globalsupply chains has transformed the way we produce and consume products, with raw materials and components sourced from various parts of the world. While the economic benefits of globalization are undeniable, it has also brought about a host of challenges and controversies. The uneven distribution of these benefits has led to growing income inequality, both within and between countries. Certain industries and communities have been disproportionately affected by the outsourcing of jobs and the relocation of manufacturing operations to regions with lower labor costs. This has fueled resentment and backlash against globalization in some quarters, as individuals and communities grapple with the disruptions and dislocations it has caused. Moreover, globalization has also had profound social and cultural implications. The increased mobility of people, the exchange of ideas and cultural practices, and the ubiquity of digital technologies have led to a blending of cultures and the emergence of a global cultural landscape. While this has enriched our lives by exposing us to diverse traditions and perspectives, it has also raised concerns about the erosion of local identities and the homogenization of cultural expression.Furthermore, the interconnectedness of the world has amplified theglobal impact of environmental and public health challenges. Issues such as climate change, pandemics, and environmental degradation transcend national borders, requiring coordinated international efforts to address them effectively. Globalization has highlighted the need for global governance frameworks and multilateral cooperation to tackle these complex, transnational issues. As I reflect on the multifaceted nature of globalization, I am struck by the paradoxes and tensions it has created. On one hand, it has brought about unprecedented economic growth, technological advancements, and cultural exchange, expanding opportunities and broadening our horizons. On the other hand, it has exacerbated inequalities, disrupted traditional ways of life, and posed new threats to the environment and public health.Ultimately, I believe that the future of globalization will depend on our ability to harness its benefits while mitigating its drawbacks. This will require a delicate balance between preserving local identities and embracing global interconnectedness, between promoting economic prosperity and ensuring equitable distribution of its fruits, and between fostering international cooperation and respecting national sovereignty. As we navigate the complexities of this global landscape, it is essential that we approach the challenges and opportunities ofglobalization with nuance, empathy, and a commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. Only then can we ensure that the transformative power of globalization is channeled towards a more just, equitable, and resilient future for all.。

全球化 英文作文

全球化英文作文英文:Globalization is a term that we often hear in today's world. It refers to the interconnectedness and interdependence of countries and people around the globe. This phenomenon has greatly impacted various aspects of our lives, including economy, culture, and technology. In terms of the economy, globalization has led to the rapid growth of international trade and investment. Companies can now easily expand their businesses to other countries, and consumers have access to a wide range of products from different parts of the world. For example, I can easily order a dress from a designer in France and have it delivered to my doorstep in the United States. Thislevel of interconnectedness was unimaginable just a few decades ago.Furthermore, globalization has also influenced ourculture. With the spread of technology and social media, people from different countries can now easily connect and share their traditions, customs, and beliefs. For instance, I can learn about Chinese New Year celebrations from videos posted by people in China, and I can even participate in virtual events and activities organized by communities around the world. On the other hand, some people argue that globalization has led to the loss of local traditions and identities. They believe that the dominance of Western culture and values has overshadowed the uniqueness of individual societies. However, I believe that globalization has also brought about a greater appreciation for diversity and multiculturalism. People are now more open to embracing different perspectives and learning from other cultures.中文:全球化是一个我们在当今世界经常听到的词。
雅思写作全球化类范文

雅思写作全球化类范文1 Nowadays, we enjoy the same film, fashion, brands and TV program. Differences between countries have become less evident. Do you think the disadvantage of this outweigh the advantage?Nowadays, people all over the world share the same Hollywood movies and fashion. When some people are cheering the colorful life which the cultural globalization brings, others raise doubts about it. To my mind, cultural globalization’s disadvantages outweigh its advantages. On the one hand, cultural globalization has a lot of advantages. First of all, globalization is a vital process toward transferring knowledge and education throughout the world. Secondly, people can enjoy cultural achievements by artists all over the world, such as films, TV programs, music, opera etc. Finally, the exchange of culture could enhance mutual understanding, create goodwill and remove the hostility and prejudice between different nations. On the other hand, people who are against the cultural globalization have their own reasons. Firstly, the cultural globalization may extinguish cultural individuality and diversity of minor countries and minority groups. It is reported 90% of the world‘s languages are not represented on the Internet; five main countries monopolize the world cultural industries trade and in the field of cinema, for instance, 88 countries out of 185 in the world have never had their own film production. Moreover, globalization erodes local languages and promotes ‘Global’ English. A recent study published by the University of Hong Kong demonstrates that more than 80% of 6000 languages in the world are dying out because of globalization/ under threat of extinction. Last but not least, globalization has produced adverse effects on local cultural tradition and civilizations. Some people assert that the globalization actually is, to a large extent, Americanization and make it extremely difficult to maintain cultural integrity and religious identity. For example, Beijing Opera, one of most famous traditional arts of China, has gradually lost its attraction to young people. In my opinion, although the cultural globalization has some positive influences on our lives, we can not neglect the negative effect on local culture.2. Even though Globalization affects the world’s economics in a very positive way, its negative sides should not be forgotten, discuss.Everything has tow sides in the world, and so has the process of globalization too. The effects of globalization for the world economy are diverted. We must acknowledge that the negative effects are from a different kind than the positive ones. Therefore the negative sides, like low payment in less developed countries are important to considerate. If we take the Euro zone for example, the economic-changes according to the globalization process are huge. Many companies have transferred their factories into cheaper production easier to compete at the world market. The results are rising unemployment rates in the “old industrial countries”.In regard to the other countries on the world market, like China, this job transfer is a big opportunity. But no one can deny that the consequences for the less developed countries with flourished economy, based onavailability of cheap employees are highly important: Globalization based on this fact brings environmental problems.Nevertheless there are also positive reasons for global effects. In general it is remarkable that there is a new tendency in “Thinking Global”. For instance people are willing to le arn more languages and about other cultures. Countries formally known as undeveloped, like India, are getting chances to be the main leader in a certain field. All in all it can be said that the effects of globalization are huge. The understanding of economic processes has changed completely. It is important to think in bigger terms, not just about the own country. The positive things that this globalization process has brought must be sensible us for the negative sides. The all over aim should be a world in balance, but this will be a long way. (6.5分)3 Nowadays we can enjoy the same films, fashions, brands, advertisements and TV channels. The evident difference between countries is disappearing. To what extent do you think the disadvantages overweight the advantages of this?Globalization creates conditions for widening international exchanges, strengthening mutual understanding between nations, expanding cultural, educational, and scientific cooperation between nations and countries, enjoying the cultural achievements of people around the world which encourages the process of modernization and the enrichment of national culture. However, these conditions also create the possible danger of diminishing the national culture with a negative impact on the pre123vation of national identity. Through globalization and an open door policy, erroneous concepts and a lowering of ethical standards, a selfish and individualistic lifestyle and harmful cultural products can easily be imported into the country. At present, modern information technology which in the main is controlled by US is hourly and intensively disseminating US ideology, way of life, culture and films across the world. Even US food is promoted so that some people consider globalization as global Americanization.During the process of economic globalization, inequality between developed and developing countries has been increasing and the gap between the rich and the poor has become wider, most of the result of globalization go to assist developed countries. Globalization does not pose equal interests and risks to all nations. With an overwhelming advantage compared to most of the developing countries in terms of finance and the level of science and technology, developed ca123alist countries control the situation of economic globalization. For these reasons, globalization is a fierce and complicated struggle in both cultural and ideological fields. We take the initiative in international economic integration but also have to take the initiative in fighting to keep our distinct culture resisting pro-foreign and cross-bred phenomena, and overcoming the psychology of preferring money over ethical values. Some people think that spreading multinationalcompanies and the increasing globalizati on produce positive effects to everyone. Do you agree or disagree?

Globalization, as a phenomenon, has both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, it has connected people from different parts of the world, facilitated the exchange of ideas and cultures, and promoted economic growth. On the other hand, it has also led to the loss of traditional customs and values, and the exploitation of labor in developing countries. One of the positive aspects of globalization is theease of communication and information exchange. For example, I can easily communicate with my friends in China through social media platforms such as WeChat and Facebook. Thishas allowed me to stay connected with them and learn about their culture and traditions. Additionally, globalization has made it possible for me to travel to different parts of the world and experience diverse cultures and cuisines. I have had the opportunity to visit countries like Japan,Italy, and Brazil, and each experience has been enriching and eye-opening.However, globalization has also brought about negative consequences. For instance, the outsourcing ofmanufacturing jobs to developing countries has resulted in the exploitation of cheap labor. Many multinational corporations take advantage of the lower labor costs in countries like Bangladesh and Vietnam, leading to poor working conditions and low wages for workers. This exploitation not only harms the workers but alsoperpetuates a cycle of poverty in these countries.中文:全球化作为一种现象,既有积极的一面,也有消极的一面。

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of globalization. In the present age, globalization is playing an increasingly important role in our lives. But in the meantime whether it is a blessing or a curse has sparked a heated debate. Some people argue that globalization has a fundamentally beneficial influence on our lives, while many others contend that it has a detrimental effect as well.A convincing argument can be made about globalization is that it not only plays a pivotal role in the development of technology and economy, but also promotes the cultural exchange between different countries. To start with, it is the globalization that impelled many corporate to become an international group, thereby making a contribution to the local technology and employment. Specifically, when a multinational group establish a factory in a developing country, the new equipment, the new management skills and the job vacancies are all in the best interest of the local society. Moreover, people worldwide can get to know each other better through globalization. It is easy to see that more and more Hollywood blockbusters show cultures different from American, some recent examples are ‘Kungfu Panda’ and ‘The Mummy’.Admittedly, profit-driven globalization has severely affected young people. Today, in the metropolises in different countries, it is very common to see teenagers wearing NIKE T-shirts and Adidas footwear, playing Hip-Hop music on Apple iPods and eating at KFC. The culture that took a thousand years to form just seems similar in these cities; it looks like you can only distinguish them by their language. Meanwhile, in some developing countries, sweat workshops are always a concerning issue. For instance, reports show that someteenagers employed by NIKE’s contractors work in smelly factories over 14 hours a day, but are only paid fifty cents per hour.In summary, I would concede that globalization does come with some adverse effects. Despite that fact, benefits created by it far outweigh the disadvantages. Overall, I am convinced that we should further promote globalization and meanwhile the local government should take measures to combat cultural assimilation and sweat workshops.Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree What other measures do you think might be effective全球化英语作文篇4 A prevailing phenomenon is that countries have less different between each other nowadays. Different person holds different views to this trend. As for me, I think its advantages outweigh the disadvantages. It is obvious that if all the countries share the same things, minority nationality regions are affected by the developed countries. Then maybe their minority culture will vanish. Especially in today"s word, the youth is more likely to understand modern culture, and they could forget some culture from their own countries.Though it is unnegligiblethat the problem, I mentioned above, Istill stick on my opinion that it has more advantages. First, there will be an excellent chance for people who are from different countries to have a communication. People possess similar hobbies and life style, and they will have more common topics to talk about. It really can narrow the gap between two countries.Second, economic globalization can be seen from this trend, promoting all the countries" economy development. And we can get all the goods we wantwherever you are. The third one is language and education. Countries are becoming less evident means people break the barrier of the differences between two languages, and it is quite good for academic communication and high level education. We can learn advanced ideas and views directly. All in all, the globalization is promoting many aspects of the countries, and actually we are experienced in it and benefit fromthis trend. As a result, I hold the view that the advantages outweigh the drawbacks.全球化英语作文篇5 In recent years, studying abroad has flourished. Thousands of schloars and students have gone to foreign countries to study. Many people are sparing no effort in applying for going abroad.Attending schools abroad has many advantages. In the first place, students who have studied abroad can act as mediators between peoples of different cultures so as to promote international understanding. Secondly, we can learn much more advanced knowledge of science and technology from the foreign countries. Thirdly, we can enjoy the contact with new and different cultures so as to increase the awareness of our own culture. Fourthly, we can learn a foreign language more quickly. However, studying abroad may have disadvantages such as language barrier in the first few months or financial difficulties before getting a scholarship. In spite of these, the advantages greatly outweigh the disadvantages. It is advisable to attend schools abroad 全球化英语作文篇6 The last decades has witnessed the accelerated advancement of economy, which brings the economic globalization,a tendence that we can never hold it back. 全球化英文作文加翻译高中英文:Globalization has had a significant impact on the world in recent years. With the advancement of technology and the increase in international trade, the world has become more interconnected than ever before. This has both positive and negative effects on different aspects of society. On the positive side, globalization has brought about economic growth and development in many countries. For example, the outsourcing of labor to countries with lower wages has allowed multinational corporations to reduce production costs and offer goods at lower prices. This has led to increased consumer access to a wider variety of products. In addition, globalization has also facilitated the exchange of ideas and cultures, leading to greater diversity and understanding among different societies. However, there are also negative consequences ofglobalization. globalization英语作文

globalization英语作文第一篇:globalization英语作文范文(一)Nowadays we can enjoy the same films, fashions, brands, advertisements and TV channels. However, these conditions also create the possible danger of diminishing the national culture with a negative impact on the pre123vation of national identity.Through globalization and an open door policy, erroneous concepts and a lowering of ethical standards, a selfish and individualistic lifestyle and harmful cultural products can easily be imported into the country. At present, modern information technology which in the main is controlled by US is hourly and intensively disseminating US ideology, way of life, culture and films across the world.Even US food is promoted so that some people consider globalization as global Americanization.During the process of economic globalization, inequality between developed and developing countries has been increasing and the gap between the rich and the poor has become wider, most of the result of globalization go to assist developed countries.Globalization does not pose equal interests and risks to all nations. With an overwhelmingadvantage compared to most of the developing countries in terms of finance and the level of science and technology, developed ca123alist countries control the situation of economic globalization. For these reasons, globalization is a fierce and complicated struggle in both cultural and ideological fields. We take the initiative in international economic integration but also have to take the initiative in fighting to keep our distinct culture resisting pro-foreign and cross-bred phenomena, and overcoming the psychology of preferring money over ethical values.第二篇:英语作文中国全球化Globalization in ChinaGlobalization in China the global connectionis growing and human beings live on the basis of global scale and global consciousness. The relation of countries depends on each other in political and economic trade. With the development of the Internet and the traffic is more convenient, the globalization has gradually entered people's life.In China, after the opium war, we began to integrate into the global market. But the real trend of globalization should be after the reform and opening up.When China joined the WTO in 2001, China's economy moved towards globalization.In2004, The Beijing consensus, which was different from the “Washington consensus”, is a development model which is in line with China's own national conditions. In the face of globalization, we have four problems to be solved, such as economic development, ecological environment, political system reform and social problems. For example, in Jack ma’s recent speech, he mentioned the differences between globalization and internationalization. He thinks that most of today's Chinese companies are internationalizing rather than globalizing.Internationalization is going out, but globalization isthinking from a global perspective. This is A common problemin our process of development.Although China's economy has developed rapidly in recent years, the process of globalization has not been enough.Economicand political reforms must be carried out to make great progress.第三篇:SunningGlobalizationGlobalization:Challenges and Opportunities for China’s Younger GenerationSun NingGood morning, Ladies and Gentlemen.T oday I’m very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts on the topic of Globalization. And first of all, I would like to mention an event in our recent history.Thirty years ago, American President Richard Nixon made an epoch-making visit to China, a country still isolated at that time.Premier Zhou Enlai said to him, “Your handshake came over the vastest oceanin the world---twenty-five years of no communication.” Ever since then, China and America have exchanged many handshakes of various kinds. The fundamental implication of this example is that the need and desire to communicate across differences in culture and ideology is not only felt by the two countries but by many other nations as well.As we can see today, environmentalists from different countries are making joint efforts to address the issue of global warming, economists and seeking solutions to financial crises that rage in a particular region but nonetheless cripple the world’s economy, and diplom ats and politicians are getting together to discuss the issue of combating terrorism.Peach and prosperity has become a common goal that we are striving for all over the world.Underlying this mighty trend ofglobalization is the echo of E.M.Forster’s words,“Only connect!”With the IT revolution taking place, traditional boundaries of human society fall away. Our culture, politics, society and commerce are being sloshed into a large melting pot of humanity. In this interlinked world, there are no outsiders, for a disturbance in one place is likely to impact other parts of the globe. We have begun to realize that a world divided cannot endure.China is now actively integrating onto the world. Our recent entry to the WTO is a good example. For decades, we have taken pride in being self-reliant, but now we realize the importance of participation in and contribution to a broader economic order. From the precarious role in the world arena to our present WTO membership, we have come a long way.But what does the way ahead look like? In some parts of the world people aredemonstrationg against globalization. Are they justified then, in criticizing the globalizing world? Instead of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables developed nation s to swallow the developing nation’s wealth in debts and interest.Globalization, they argue, should be about an earnest interest in every other nation’s economic heath. We are reminded by Karl Marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. This has become a reality.Multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favorable policy. The are often powerful lobbyists in government decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market place and a devastating presence to local businesses. For China, still more challenges exist. How are we going to ensure a smooth transition from theplanned economy to a market-based one? How to construct a legal system that is sound enough and broad enough to respond to the needs of a dynamic society? How to maintain our cultural identity in an increasingly homogeneous world? And how to define greatness in our rise as a peace-loving nation? Globalization entails questions that concern us all.Like many young people my age in China, I want to see my country get prosperous and enjoying respect in the international community. But it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. It is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our minds to bigger issues. And there might never be easy answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way.And this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech.Thank you.第四篇:全球化Globalization英文论述Globalization Globalization is the process of international integration arising from the interchange of world views, products, ideas and other aspects of culture.Advances in transportation and telecommunications infrastructure, including the rise of the telegraph and its posterity the Internet, are major factors in globalization, generating further interdependence of economic and cultural activities.World have connection into a whole, forming a global village.Nowadays no one nation can go out of the world and the development of the closed.Economic globalization:Economic globalization is the increasing economic interdependence of national economies across the world through a rapid increase in cross-border movement of goods, service, technology and capital.Whereas the globalizationof business is centered around the diminution of international trade regulations as well as tariffs, taxes, and other impediments that suppresses global trade, economic globalization is the process of increasing economic integration between countries, leading to the emergence of a global marketplace or a single world market. The world economy is very close.A country's economic crisis is likely to affect the worldsocio-cultural globalization:Cultural globalization has increased cross-cultural contacts but may be accompanied by a decrease in the uniqueness of once-isolated communities.Such as rock, jeans, such as Coca-Cola spread around the world. For example, sushi is available in Germany as well as Japan but Euro-Disney outdraws the city of Paris, potentially reducing demand for “authentic” French pastry.Globalization's contribution to the alienation of individuals from their traditions may be modest compared to the impact of modernity itself.Globalization has expanded recreational opportunities by spreading pop culture, particularly via the Internet and satellite television.the Internet connects computer users around the world. From 2000 to 2009, the number of Internet users globally rose from 394 million to 1.858 billion.By 2010, 22 percent of the world's population had access to computers with 1 billion Google searches every day, 300 million Internet users reading blogs, and 2 billion videos viewed daily on YouTube. The example of globalization:AIRBUS,ADIDAS.Globalization has a lot of good or bad influence to us.First talk about the positive: worldwide the number of common standards;the growth of international trade faster than the world economic growth;the proportion of multinational companies in the world economy;the development of the global financial system;and More and more international culturalinfluence, such as through the export of Hollywood movies;promote the development of international tourism;a lot of information resources sharing via the Internet. The bad influence is the widening gap between the rich and poor;the increase of illegal immigrants; The expansion of terrorism; Its unemployment rate increaseThe Finally, statement about my point of view. The trend of globalization is irreversible, we should conform to this trend, we should not go against globalization. If you resist the globalization is obvious, north Korea is resist globalization, so the economy is backward, and there also very miserably of people's life.Globalization makes countries can share resources, cheap goods, technology have very convenient also, human resources also can free flow between countries, promote the prosperity of the national economy. At the same time, also promote the spread of cultural globalization, cultural communication is also more frequently, is conducive to the development of national culture.Although a lot of the benefits of globalization, but also should pay attention to protect our country own business brand, technology, enhance the value of the independent brand, pay attention to brand building, in this way, can we have their own advantages in the globalization.第五篇:口语情景对话:全球化 GlobalizationTodd: OK.Jamie.We're back.杰米,我们开始吧。
全球化观点作文英语

全球化:机遇与挑战并存的新时代In today's interconnected world, globalization has become an inevitable trend, shaping our lives and futuresin profound ways. It is a double-edged sword that brings both opportunities and challenges, forcing us to adapt and navigate through a complex global landscape. On the one hand, globalization has opened up new horizons for businesses and individuals alike. Trade barriers are being gradually dismantled, allowing for the free flow of goods, services, and capital across borders. This has led to increased economic growth and prosperity, as businesses can expand their markets and tap into new sources of revenue. Individuals also benefit from greater cultural exchange and understanding, as they are exposed to different cultures and ideas through travel, education, and technology. Moreover, globalization has fostered innovation and technological advancement. The internet and other digital technologies have made it possible for people to connect and collaborate seamlessly, accelerating the pace of innovation and problem-solving. This has led toadvancements in fields such as medicine, science, and technology, which have the potential to improve lives and solve global challenges. On the other hand, globalization has also presented significant challenges. One of the most pressing issues is the widening gap between the rich and the poor. While globalization has led to economic growth and prosperity for many, it has also exacerbated the disparities between different regions and social groups. This has led to social unrest and instability, which can have negativeimplications for global peace and security.Another challenge posed by globalization is the environmental impact of industrialization and urbanization. As businesses expand and cities grow, they consume more resources and generate more waste, leading to environmental degradation and climate change. This has caused widespread concern and calls for sustainable development and environmental protection. To address these challenges, it is crucial for nations and individuals to work together and collaborate effectively. Governments need to implement policies thatpromote inclusive growth and reduce disparities, while businesses should prioritize sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. Individuals can also playtheir part by promoting cultural understanding and tolerance, and by participating actively in globalinitiatives and movements. In conclusion, globalization is a powerful force thatis shaping our world in profound ways. It brings opportunities for growth and prosperity, but also poses challenges that require collective effort and collaboration. By working together and embracing the spirit of globalization, we can build a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous world for all.**全球化:机遇与挑战并存的新时代**在当今互联互通的世界中,全球化已成为不可逆转的趋势,以深刻的方式塑造着我们的生活和未来。
关于全球化的作文英文

关于全球化的作文英文英文:Globalization is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that has had a profound impact on the world in recent decades. It refers to the increasing interconnectedness and interdependence of countries through the exchange of goods, services, information, and ideas. This has led to a more integrated and interconnected global economy, as well as cultural and social exchanges between people from different parts of the world. One of the most significant effects of globalization is the increase in international trade and investment. Companies now have the ability to operate on a global scale, sourcing materials and labor from different countries and selling their products and services to a global market. This has led to increased economic growth and prosperity in many parts of the world. For example, the rise of multinational corporations has created job opportunitiesand improved living standards in developing countries like China and India.Another impact of globalization is the spread of cultural influences. Western popular culture, including music, movies, and fashion, has become popular around the world, leading to a more homogenized global culture. However, this has also led to the preservation and promotion of local cultures, as people seek to maintain their traditions and identities in the face of globalization. For instance, the popularity of Korean pop music, or K-pop, has spread beyond Asia and gained a global fanbase, showcasing the power of cultural globalization. On the other hand, globalization has also brought about challenges and drawbacks. One of the most pressing issuesis the widening wealth gap between the rich and the poor. While some countries and individuals have benefited greatly from globalization, others have been left behind, leading to social and economic inequality. This has led to a risein populist and nationalist movements in many parts of the world, as people seek to protect their interests andidentities in the face of globalization.Overall, globalization has had a profound impact on the world, shaping the way we live, work, and interact with one another. It has brought about both opportunities and challenges, and it is important for us to navigate this complex and interconnected world with an understanding of its implications.中文:全球化是一个复杂而多方面的现象,近几十年来对世界产生了深远影响。
关于全球化的英语作文

关于全球化的英语作文In the modern era, globalization has become an integral part of our lives, influencing various aspects of society from the economy to culture. This essay will explore the multifaceted impacts of globalization, including its benefits and challenges.Firstly, globalization has facilitated the exchange of goods and services on an unprecedented scale. The reduction of trade barriers and the expansion of international trade have made it possible for consumers to access a wide array of products from around the world. This has not only increased consumer choice but also led to lower prices and higher quality goods.Secondly, the spread of technology and information has been accelerated through globalization. The internet and social media platforms have connected people across the globe, allowing for the rapid dissemination of news, ideas, and cultural content. This has fostered a more interconnected and informed global community. However, globalization also presents significant challenges. One of the most pressing issues is the loss of local jobs as companies move their operations to countries where labor is cheaper. This can lead to increased unemployment and economic disparity within countries that are heavily reliant on manufacturing or other labor-intensive industries.Another concern is the potential for cultural homogenization. As global brands and media outlets become more dominant, there is a risk that local cultures and traditions may be overshadowed or even erased. This can lead to a loss of cultural diversity and a sense of identity for many communities.Furthermore, globalization has environmental implications. The increased demand for resources and the expansion of industrial activities can lead to environmental degradation and contribute to climate change. Sustainable practices must be integrated into global economic activities to mitigate these effects. In conclusion, globalization is a complex phenomenon that offers both opportunities and threats to society. While it has the potential to drive economic growth and cultural exchange, it also poses risks to local economies, cultural identities, and the environment. It is crucial for governments, businesses, and individuals to work together to harness the benefits of globalization while addressing its challenges. This can be achieved through policies that promote fair trade, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability.。
专4作文关于全球化

专4作文关于全球化Globalization is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that has greatly impacted the world in various aspects. It has brought both positive and negative consequences, shaping the way we live, work, and interact with others. In this essay, I will discuss the effects of globalization from different perspectives.Globalization has undoubtedly facilitated international trade and economic growth. The interconnectedness of economies has led to the exchange of goods, services, and capital on a global scale. This has created new opportunities for businesses to expand their markets and reach a wider customer base. For instance, multinational corporations can now establish branches in different countries, allowing them to benefit from lower production costs and access to new markets. As a result, consumers can enjoy a greater variety of products at competitive prices. In addition to economic benefits, globalization hasalso fostered cultural exchange and understanding among nations. Through the internet and social media, people from different parts of the world can now easily connect and share their ideas and experiences. This has led to the spread of cultural practices, such as cuisine, music, and fashion, across borders. For example, the popularity of Korean pop music, or K-pop, has transcended national boundaries and gained a global fan base. This cultural exchange not only enriches our lives but also promotes tolerance and appreciation for diversity. However, globalization has its downsides as well. One of the major concerns is the growing income inequality between the rich and the poor. While globalization haslifted many people out of poverty, it has also widened the gap between the wealthy and the disadvantaged. The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few multinational corporations and individuals has led to social and economic disparities. For instance, in many developing countries, workers in sweatshops are often paid low wages and subjected to poor working conditions, while the profits generated by these factories go to the multinationalcompanies.Furthermore, globalization has also posed challenges to the environment. The increased movement of goods and people has resulted in a surge in carbon emissions and resource depletion. For instance, the transportation of goods across long distances contributes to air pollution and climate change. Additionally, the exploitation of natural resources to meet the demands of global markets has led to deforestation, habitat destruction, and loss of biodiversity. These environmental consequences not only threaten the planet but also impact the livelihoods oflocal communities who depend on these resources. In conclusion, globalization has brought about significant changes to our world, both positive and negative. It has facilitated economic growth, cultural exchange, and technological advancements. However, it has also exacerbated income inequality and environmental degradation. As we navigate the complexities of globalization, it is crucial to find ways to minimize its negative impacts while maximizing its benefits for allindividuals and the planet as a whole.中文回答:全球化是一个复杂而多方面的现象,对世界产生了深远的影响。

全球化的范畴
Globalization can be found in five different areas: economic, cultural, political, religious, and social systems.
It should not be narrowly confused with economic globalization, which is only one aspect. While some scholars and observers of globalization stress convergence of patterns of production and consumption and a resulting homogenization of culture, power, stress, and hunger, others stress that
globalization has the potential to take many diverse forms. In economics, globalization is the convergence of prices, products, wages, rates of interest and profits.
Globalization of the economy depends on the role of human migration, international trade, movement of capital, and integration of financial markets. The International Monetary Fund notes the growing economic interdependence of countries worldwide through increasing volume and variety of cross-border transactions, free international capital flows, and more rapid and widespread diffusion of technology.
全球化的测量指标KOF
As globalization is not only an economic phenomenon, a multivariate approach to measuring
globalization is the recent index calculated by the Swiss Think tank KOF. The index measures the three main dimensions of globalization: economic, social, and political. In addition to three indices measuring these dimensions, an overall index of globalization and sub-indices referring to actual economic flows, economic restrictions, data on personal contact, data on information flows, and data on cultural proximity is calculated. Data are available on a yearly basis for 122 countries. According to the index, the world‟s most
globalised country is Belgium, followed by Austria, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The least globalised countries according to the KOF-index are Haiti, Myanmar the Central African Republic and Burundi. Other measures conceptualize Globalization as Diffusion and develop interactive procedure to capture the degree of its impact.
经济全球化的四大衡量标准
Looking specifically at economic globalization, it can be measured in different ways. These centre around the four main economic flows that characterize globalization:
1. Goods and services, e.g. exports plus imports as
a proportion of national income or per capita of population.
2. Labor/people, e.g. net migration rates; inward or outward migration flows, weighted by population.
3. Capital, e.g. inward or outward direct investment as a proportion of national income or per head of population.
4. Technology, e.g. international research & development flows; proportion of populations (and rates of change thereof) using particular inventions (especially “factor-neutral”technological advances such as the
telephone, motorcar, and broadband).
To what extent a nation-state or culture is globalised in a particular year has until most recently been measured employing simple proxies like flows of trade, migration, or foreign direct investment, as described above.。
