When you go to see a doctor, he will write you a note (便条，药方) to take to the chemist for some medicine. Chemists are usually good at reading

doctor’s notes. But sometimes doctor s write so badly that even the chemist

cannot read the notes.

One day a man wrote to a doctor to invite him to have dinner at his house. The doctor wrote an answer, but he wrote too badly and the man

could not read it. “What shall I do?” he asked his wife,“I don’t know

that I don’t understand him.” His wife thought for a while and then she had

Headaches have many different causes (原因). The usual advice (劝告), “Take two aspirins (阿司匹林)!” isn’t always the best idea. First, stop

and think why you have a headache.

Do you drink lots of coffee, tea or cola (可乐饮料)? These all have caffeine (咖啡因). People who often take a lot of caffeine every day may get

headache. The cure (治疗方法)? Drink a little less of these every day. Take a

week or ten days to stop completely.

Do you get a headache after reading or watching TV? Some headaches happen when you make your eyes work too hard. See an eye doctor. You

may need glasses.

How much did you eat today? No eating can also cause (导致) a headache. The solution (解决方法) is to eat three meals a day at regular

times (正常的).
