my university life英语作⽂篇1 As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library and the others. Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams. Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. To be honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop social skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some jobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences for me. Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In this way, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in the library. Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills. In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life. 我们知道,很多⼈认为⼤学⽣活是⾃由、舒适的,但我想说这不是真的。

University is also the most concentrated period in our life, which can take advantages and avoid weaknesses, which can be torn away for a long time. The great one is the same as many of our circumstances, only once, and the beginning of this is that it has the influence of winning and even the meaning of the decision. There is an essential difference between a university and a high school. Here, you will find that you are more free, more dominant, and pletely control your life. Because of this, we are more likely to be confused and easier to lose our direction. Sometimes we don't know what we are pursuing. The goal of life is the navigation mark of the road of life, and it is the motive force of the progress of life. After losing my time for a long time, Iinitially established my university's aim of struggle by municating with senior students and municating with teachers. I decided to be a pound talent with high ideological awareness, good psychological quality, good professional skills and strong ability to work through three years of college study. This is also a requirement for college students in the new century. The goal is established, and our students have regained a constant source of motivation. Because I am very interested in English, I have English as a breakthrough to improve oral English ability, I getrid of the bad habit of sleeping in, every morning in the campus to read English loudly, "" Crazy English Greeting of every tree and bush. Through hard work, academic achievements have been gradually improved.College life is a long way of life, and it is also a piece of music of the song of life. This passage, even short, is long, and the movement may be beautiful and sad. Although my college life has just begun, I believe it will be full of happiness. Finally, I am here to wish you all the best to work together, to make progress together, to accumulate more experience, and to make a better way for you.

1My Big University LifeHi! My name is Tommy and I'm 8 years old. I don't actually go to university yet, but my big sister Anna does. She is 20 years old and studies at a big university in our city. I'm going to tell you all about her university life! The university campus is huge! It has lots of big buildings made of bricks and some grassy areas in between. Anna showed me around one day. We went inside some of the buildings and I saw long hallways with classrooms on each side. The classrooms have lots of desk chairs for all the students. At the front is a big board that professors write on.Anna takes different classes on different days. She has some morning classes that start at 9am, and some afternoon ones too. Her classes are about things like English, math, science, and her major subject which is psychology. Psychology is all about learning how people's brains work and why they behave certain ways. It sounds really interesting! In her classes, the professors give lectures while the students listen and take notes. Sometimes they have discussions or do group work too. Anna has lots of readings and homework assignments to complete outside of class time. She spends many hours in the library studying, reading, and working on papers and projects. The library is massive and has millions of books! On campus there are also dining halls where you can get food, a gym for exercising, housing buildings called dorms where students live, and lots more. Anna lives in a dorm with one roommate named Jenna. They share a small room and bathroom. The rooms aren't fancy but they have beds, desks, and somewhere to keep their clothes and belongings.Dorm life can be fun but also challenging since you're living with someone else in a tiny space. Anna and Jenna are good friends though, so they get along well. At night, Anna often hangs out in the common rooms or lounges in the dorm building to watch TV, play video games, or just chat with friends.Being a university student isn't all just academics though. There are over 300 student clubs and organizations you can join on campus for any interest you can imagine - sports, music, volunteering, cultural clubs, and more. Anna is part of thepsychology club and tutors local elementary students in reading one night per week.On weekends when she doesn't have too much homework, Anna likes to go out and explore the city with friends. They'll go to restaurants, cafes, museums, theaters, shopping at the mall, or sometimes take day trips to nearby parks or beaches. Transportation is convenient with buses, trains, and Anna's bike to get around.Of course, going to university is expensive! Anna has taken out student loans to help pay for tuition (the cost to actually attend classes), housing, her meal plan, textbooks, and all her other expenses. She also works part-time at the campus bookstore to earn some spending money.Sometimes university life can be stressful with all the work to do, juggling classes, activities, jobs, and just grown-up responsibilities in general. When she's feeling overwhelmed, Anna de-stresses by exercising at the rec center, listening to music, hanging out with friends, or even just taking a nap.Anna seems to really enjoy being a university student overall though. She's becoming an independent adult, gaining invaluable knowledge, making lifelong friends, and getting prepared for her future career. The independence and freedomsof university life are great, but also come with lots of important responsibilities.I still have a few more years before I become a university student myself. For now, I'll just keep working hard in elementary school so I can hopefully get into a great university like Anna's someday. University seems like a really fun, rewarding, and amazing experience overall! I can't wait until it's my turn.篇2My Big College LifeHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 8 years old. My teacher Mrs. Jones asked us to write about what we think college is like. I've never been to college, but my big brother Jimmy is there now so I can tell you all about it!Jimmy goes to a really big college called State University. It's so big, with lots of huge buildings all over the place. When Jimmy gave me a tour, I couldn't believe how many classrooms and libraries and cafeterias they have! The buildings have names like Watson Hall and Memorial Union that sound very fancy. In college, you don't have just one classroom for all your classes like we do in elementary school. Jimmy has a differentclassroom for every subject - math class is in one building, English is in another, and science is somewhere else entirely. He carries a huge backpack full of textbooks, notebooks, pencils, and everything else he needs as he goes from class to class all day long. Can you imagine having to lug around that huge backpack every single day? No thanks!College classes seem really hard. Jimmy is always studying late into the night. He has tons of reading to do for all his classes - heavy dusty books with no pictures at all! On top of that, he has to write long papers and essays constantly. I write papers for school too of course, but Jimmy's are like 10 pages long at least. That's basically a book! And there are always big scary exams coming up that he has to study really hard for. I'm glad I don't have to worry about taking exams at my age.But it's not all just work work work at college. There's a lot of fun stuff too! Jimmy lives on campus in a huge dorm building with his friend Chris as his roommate. They have a small room with two tiny beds and desks to study at. It's basically like a bedroom just for sleeping and studying. But the best part is that all Jimmy's friends live in the same dorm too! It's kind of like a big sleepover with your buddies every single night. How awesome is that? There's a big dining hall where Jimmy eats all his meals. It's like a restaurant, but one where you don't have to pay or make reservations or anything. You just walk in and get your food! The cooks make absolutely anything you could possibly want - pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, you name it. And it's all-you-can-eat too! Jimmy can just keep going up for more and more plates of food whenever he wants. No wonder he gained a little weight his first semester!Of course, there's lots of fun events and activities for students too. Jimmy has joined some clubs on campus like the Running Club and Gaming Club where he can hang out with people who like the same stuff he does. There are free movies shown in the student center most weekends too. And let's not forget about parties! College kids sure do love their parties. Jimmy goes to big, crazy ragers almost every weekend where everyone dresses up, dances to loud music, plays drinking games, and has an all-around wild time. Mom and Dad wouldn't approve of that stuff, but I think it looks fun (when I'm older of course!).And let's not forget about sports! College has the best sports teams ever. We're big fans of the State U Wildcats and always watch their football and basketball games on TV. The teams arereally good and the players are like superheroes to us kids. Thousands and thousands of students pack into the huge stadiums and arenas to cheer them on at every home game. Jimmy has been to a few games in person and said the energy and excitement is crazy! I went to one football game with him over Fall Break and it was absolutely nuts. People were screaming, cheering, doing chants and dressing up in the school's purple and green colors. I've never experienced anything like it! Can't wait to be a college student someday so I can go to games like that all the time.Well, those are the basics of college life according to my big bro Jimmy. It sounds like an amazing experience full of learning, freedom, fun times with friends, and school spirit. Sure, there's a lot of hard work involved too with all the classes, studying, and papers. But you're also getting a taste of "real life" and adulthood in a way. You have to manage your own time, feed yourself, juggle responsibilities, and make your own choices.Honestly, elementary school seems pretty boring compared to the wild adventure of college! I the reading, writing, and tests will be really tough. But I can't wait for those halcyon days of living on campus, joining clubs, going to parties, and most of all cheering on my school's football team to victory every Saturdayalongside my best friends. College life seems like the best life! I've got 10 more years before I get there but you'd better believe the second I'm able to, I'll be packing my bags for State U. Those are sure to be the best 4 years of my life! Let's go Wildcats!篇3My College LifeHi! My name is Tommy and I am going to tell you all about my life as a college student. College is where you go after you finish high school to learn about a special subject that you want to study and get trained for a job. When I was getting ready to go to college, I had to pick what I wanted to major in. A major is the main subject that you spend most of your time studying. There are so many majors to choose from like business, engineering, teaching, science, art, and more.I decided to major in computer science because I am really good with computers and technology and I want to learn how to make video games and apps when I grow up.After I picked my major, I had to apply to different colleges. Applying means you fill out forms and write essays to try to get that college to accept you as a student. I applied to a bunch of colleges but my number one choice was Central State Universitybecause they have a great computer science program and it's not too far from my hometown.I was so excited when I got my acceptance letter from Central State! An acceptance letter means the college has reviewed your application and decided to let you in as a student. Once I was accepted, I had to register for classes, apply for housing in the dorms (the dorm is where students live on campus), and get my student ID card and parking pass. Finally, move-in day arrived! My parents helped me pack up my car with my clothes, laptop, TV, refrigerator, and other essentials. We drove to campus and unloaded everything into my tiny dorm room. My roommate Jeff had already moved in. We have to share the small living space and bathroom. It was hard saying goodbye to my parents but I was eager to start my college adventure! On the first day of classes, I had to find all my classrooms in the different buildings across campus. Some were small classes with only 20 students, while my English 101 class had over 300 students and was held in a huge auditorium. The professors handed out the syllabi which shows all the assignments, tests, and readings for the whole semester. Already I could tell collegewas going to require a lot more studying and homework than high school!Between classes, I spend a lot of time at the library, computer labs, and student centers to study, do assignments, and hang out with friends. We might get lunch at the dining hall or one of the campus cafes. My favorite part of the day is grabbing a smoothie from the cafe before my late computing class. On the weekends, there is always something fun happening on campus. The university hosts a lot of events like concerts, games, festivals, etc. My friends and I love going to the football and basketball games to cheer on our school's team. Sometimes we'll go into the city to explore restaurants, museums, parks, and attractions. But we have to be careful not to go too wild because we still have so much schoolwork to focus on!Dorm life can be fun but also challenging. You have to share a room and bathroom with a roommate, plus a kitchen with everyone on your floor. The dorms have strict rules about noise, guests, and curfews that aren't always easy to follow as a young person living semi-independently for the first time. I've already gotten in a little trouble for having roommates over past visitinghours. But overall, dorm living is a great way to be surrounded by other students going through the same college experience.Even though I'm just a freshman, college has already taught me so much beyond just academics. I'm learning how to live on my own, manage my time, handle responsibilities, make new friends, explore interests, and so much more. Some days are stressful juggling all my classwork, clubs, job, and social life. But I wouldn't trade this amazing college experience for anything! I have three more years to go and I'm sure they'll fly by. I can't wait to see what other adventures college life has in store.篇4My Big College LifeHi! My name is Tommy and I want to tell you all about my college life. College is where you go after you finish high school. It's kind of like a really big school, but just for grown-ups.I'm studying at a place called University of Wisconsin. It's in a city called Madison. Madison is pretty far from my hometown, so I live right on the university campus in a building called a dorm. The dorms are where lots of college students live. We have our own little rooms, but we also share a living room, kitchen, andbathrooms with other students on our floor. It's kind of like having a bunch of roommates! My classes are really different from elementary school. In college, you only take a few classes at a time instead of having the same classes all day long. I'm taking classes like Math 101, English Composition, and Intro to Psychology this semester. A semester is like a half a school year. The classes are much bigger than elementary school too. Sometimes I have classes with 300 other students! The professors lecture at the front of these huge auditorium rooms. Professors are like teachers, but they are extra super smart. After the lectures, I have readings and homework assignments to do. There's a lot more work to do on my own compared to elementary school.Classes are definitely harder than when I was a kid. I have to study a lot! Luckily, there are places on campus called libraries where you can go read and get help. My favorite spot is called Memorial Library. It's a massive building filled with books and study areas. That's where I go to work on my assignments and papers when my dorm room feels too distracting.Even though there is a ton of work, college isn't all just studying all the time. There are lots of fun things to do as well!On campus, there are facilities like gyms, sports fields, cafeterias with all-you-can-eat meals, game rooms, and more. My favorite place is called Memorial Union - it's this awesome student center with a bowling alley, restaurant, lounges to hang out, and a big outdoor plaza right on Lake Mendota. There are also hundreds of clubs and organizations you can join. I'm a part of the rock climbing club, the chess club, and I write for the school newspaper called The Daily Cardinal. On the weekends, we have football games at the huge Camp Randall stadium. Or sometimes I'll just explore areas around campus like State Street, which has tons of restaurants, shops, and bars (though I'm not old enough for that yet!).Another fun part about college is that you live surrounded by people around your same age. My neighbors and hallmates in the dorm have become some of my closest friends. We're all going through this new college experience together. It's awesome to meet people from all different places with different backgrounds and interests.Even though I'm on my own more than when I lived with my parents, there are still people who help guide me through college life. For example, there are resident assistants (we call them RAs) who are students that live on every dorm floor. Theyorganize events, enforce rules, and are there if you need any support or advice. Professors and academic advisors also help make sure I'm taking the right classes and staying on track.Overall, college life is an awesome experience. It's a lot of work, but also a ton of fun. I have so much freedom and independence, but I'm also learning so much - not just from classes, but from being out on my own and meeting new people. These four years are flying by so fast! Before I know it, I'll be an adult with a college degree under my belt, ready to go out into the real world. But why rush? For now, I'm just trying to soak up every moment of my epic college experience.篇5My Big College LifeHi! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. Today I want to tell you all about college because I can't wait until I'm old enough to go! My older cousin Joey just started his first year and he tells me all about it. It sounds like so much fun!In college, you get to live away from your parents in a cool building called a dorm. Joey says his dorm is like a big house with lots of small rooms called dorm rooms. He shares a tiny dorm room with another guy named Mark. They have two smallbeds, two desks for doing homework, and two closets for their clothes and stuff. It's crowded but Joey says it's awesome to have your own space away from your family.Joey has to go to classes every day, just like regular school. But college classes are different. In college, you pick your own classes on whatever topics you want to learn about. Joey is taking classes on computers, Spanish, and something called philosophy where you talk about deep questions. I'm not sure what that means but it sounds really smart! The classes are really big too, with hundreds of students in one room listening to professors lecture. Professors are like super smart teachers who are experts on their subjects. Joey says some lectures are boring but others are really fascinating. He just has to make sure he doesn't fall asleep! When Joey isn't in class, there is so much fun stuff for him to do on campus. There are tons of clubs and activities to join based on your interests. Joey joined the rock climbing club, the video game club, and something called a fraternity which is like a group of friends who do activities together. On weekends, there are always parties, sports games, or other events happening.College also has huge libraries, labs, gyms, cafeterias, and all kinds of buildings and resources for students to use. Joey saysthe cafeteria food isn't as good as mom's cooking, but it's not too bad. And he loves being able to work out for free at the nice gym on campus. The best part of college is that you get to be totally independent and make your own choices. Joey stays up as late as he wants, eats whatever crazy snacks he can find, and comes and goes as he pleases without his parents nagging him. But he also has to do all his own laundry, cleaning, and money management which he says is really hard to get used to.Even though it sounds like a lot of work, Joey is having an awesome time in college so far. He's meeting new friends from all over the place, joining clubs that interest him, and learning about subjects he's really passionate about. He says college opens up so many opportunities to explore new things.I definitely can't wait until I'm old enough to go to college too! It seems like the perfect in-between place - you're finally independent like an adult but still getting an education and making friends like a kid. You get to have fun but also work hard toward your future goals and career.College just sounds like this magical place full of freedom, fun activities, interesting classes, and new experiences around every corner. I hope I get to follow in Joey's footsteps and havemy own big college adventure someday! I'll be sure to join tons of cool clubs, stay up way too late, and try all the fun snacks in the cafeteria. Maybe I'll even take that philosophy class - it still sounds pretty confusing, but kind of intriguing too!篇6My Big College LifeHello! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. My big brother Tommy just started college and I want to tell you all about his super cool life there. It's like a whole new world!Tommy lives on campus in a huge building called a dorm. It's kind of like a castle with lots of rooms all squished together. He stays in one tiny room with another guy named Jake. I don't know how he can live in such a small space! My room at home is way bigger. In the dorms, there are shared bathrooms down the hallway instead of having your own. Tommy says it's pretty gross sometimes because there are always puddles on the floor and the stalls smell really bad. Yuck! I'll never understand how grownups can be so messy. The best part about dorm life is that Tommy can eat as many chicken nuggets as he wants from the dining hall. It's like an endless nugget buffet! He also gets unlimited ice cream, pizza, burgers, and fries. No wonder he's already gained like 10 pounds.Of course, Tommy has to go to classes too. He takes all kinds of weird subjects like economics, philosophy, and women's studies. I have no clue what any of that means! Doesn't sound very fun if you ask me. He has classes starting as early as 8am which is basically the middle of the night. No thank you!In between classes, Tommy hangs out at the student center or libraries to study. The libraries are these giant quiet rooms full of books and computers. They seem kinda boring to me since you can't talk, run around, or anything. I'd rather play outside!Another highlight of college is all the free time and activities. Tommy joined something called a fraternity which is kind of like a club. They have parties, events, and get to know each other really well. Sometimes they'll go camping, play sports, or volunteer in the community. It lets Tommy make lots of new friends beyond just his roommate. One of the strangest things is that Tommy has unlimited access to a place called the rec center. It's this massivegym/playground for grownups! You can lift weights, run on treadmills, play basketball, go rock climbing, and even take fun classes like yoga or Zumba dance. I don't understand the appeal since gyms seem so boring, but Tommy says it's an awesome way to stay in shape and take study breaks.Of course, no college experience would be complete without the famous "dining hall food" that Tommy complains about all the time. Apparently the cafeteria serves a lot of yucky vegetables, runny eggs, and other gross healthy stuff that kids like us would never want to eat. No wonder he survives off chicken nuggets!Probably the worst part of college is having no parents around to do your laundry or make you food. Tommy has to use these gigantic washing machines in the basement and lug his clothes up and down stairs. He also has to buy his own meals with something called a "meal plan" instead of just eating for free at home. Sounds exhausting if you ask me!Living away at college also means being responsible for your own schedule. There's no mom or dad to wake you up, make sure you get to class on time, or go to bed at a reasonable hour. Some students stay up way too late partying or watching TVshows when they should be studying. No wonder so many college kids look like zombies! All in all, college seems equal parts fun and challenging from what I've heard about Tommy's experience so far. It's nice having freedom and opportunities to try new things. But it also requires a lot of independence, hard work, and responsibility that us little kids don't have to worry about yet. I'm perfectly happy staying home for now where someone else does my laundry, cooking, and cleaning! College can wait a few more years. That's the basic gist of my big bro's college adventures. Even though it sounds kind of stressful, I think he's really enjoying this exciting new chapter of life. I'll be sure to let you know if anything else crazy happens over the next few years! Maybe I'll even get to tour the campus and dining halls myself sometime. Although I'll definitely skip the cafeteria vegetables...。

Next, try to be independent. Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc, and washing clothes on your own.
