Good evening, everyone. It seems that all of you here today are water resources activists. Give yourselves or a round of applause. In that case it seems my presentation will not be useless. Many people are not aware of this situation of water shortage. For example, let's have a look at this picture. According to the service, the total amount of bottled water wasted in one day globally can supply a million children for three days, maybe even longer. So, clean water and sanitation is the 6th on the 2030 sustainable development agenda. China has a popular saying, water and land are our heritage and ultimate wealth. So I believe we can all make a difference in this world, starting with saving half bottle of water.二Before we begin, we would like you to first watch this video. A polar bear is working to us. He's looking for food, but there is nothing for him, except a dry bone. The polar bear is helpless. He has no choice but to wait for death. We stood there crying, filming with tears rolling down our face. Climate change caused by human activities threatens all beings on earth and the future of our planet. The clock is ticking. The sustainable development goal(SDG)number 13 Climate action calls on every one of us to take urgent action against climate change and its impacts. If we continue to leave it unrestrained, climate change will eventually threaten our own living conditions including our food and water supplies. Such may even lead to conflicts over resources one day. Reducing air pollution through the use of clean energy, is one effective way of responding to climate change. Small steps can make a big difference. If we all can active together action together, we can change the world.三We all know that sport is the best way to stay healthy. Under the Doha Declaration UNODC has launched a global Youth Crime Prevention initiative. This program uses sport to help young people develop life skills and improve social skills, and stay away from violence crime and drugs while having fun. We play sports on our show, we show people sport is good, like high jumping and ball football and jump rope. We have jumped the rope with many people. Guess how many? Seventy-three people in one time. As a mother, I really hope that my child and every child in the world will grow up happy and healthy, but unfortunately, each year, more than six million children die before five years old. Therefore, health is extremely important. As a father I believe every child can have education, but many children are out of school. Please help them, children are our future.四What you just saw is mobile payment. It has recently become quite popular in China. Mobile payments can make our life so much easier, in fact, most Chinese people are like that now. Most Chinese people know that the compass, gunpowder, paper making and printing are the four great inventions of ancient China that steered our history. Today, the country has stepped into a new era. Another four great new inventions are improving the quality of life. I would also like to share with you guys, my own experience with the high-speed rail. Actually I am really afraid of traveling by air, but often I have to give an interview in Beijing in the morning and fly to Hangzhou for filming in the same evening. The two cities are twelve hundred kilometers away from each other. This is the same distance as between Vienna and Paris. But thanks to the high-speed rail, there's now a better option for me to travel long distance. I believe that through cooperation with other countries, the new inventions of modern China will also benefit the world. In 2015, world leaders adopted the “2030 sustainable development agenda”that aims to end poverty, reduce inequalities and combat climate change. We must come together, government, civil society, scientists and academia and private sector must unit to achieve these global goals, hand in hand. The world is a big family and we are all in this big family. Just like the slogan we often say in the show, we are family.Acupressure mat 指压板:it can massage the foot and can increase blood circulation of body(促进血液循环).。

I was appointed six months ago and the more I havespoken about feminism the more I have realized that fighting for women’s rightshas too often become synonymous with man-hating. If there is one thing I knowfor certain, it is that this has to stop。
For the record, feminism by definition is: “The beliefthat men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theoryof the political, economic and social equality of the sexes。

艾玛沃特森演讲全文(中英双语)Thank you all for being here for this important moment. These men from all over the world have decided to make gender equality a priority in their lives and in their universities. Thank you for making this commitment. I graduated from university four years ago. I had always dreamed of going, and I know how fortunate I am to have had the opportunity to do so. Brown became my home, my community, and I took the ideas and the experiences I had there into all of my social interactions, into my work place, into my politics, into all aspects of my life. I know that my university experience shaped who I am. And of course it does for many people. But what if our experience in university shows us that women don't belong in leadership? What if it shows us that, yes, women can study, but they shouldn't lead a seminar? What if, as still in many places around the world, it tells us that women don't belong there at all? What if, as is the case in far too many universities, we are given the message that sexual violence isn't actually a form of violence? But, we know that if you change students' experiences so that they have different expectations of the world around them, expectations of equality, society will change. As we leave home for the first time to study at the places that we have worked so hard to get, we must not see or experience double standards. We need to see equal respect, leadership and pay. The university experience must tell women that their brain power is valued, and not just that, but that they belong within the leadership of the university itself. And so importantly right now, the experience must make it clear, that the safety of women, minorities, and anyone who may be vulnerable is a right, not a privilege. A right that will be respected by a community that believes and supports survivors, and that recognizes that when one person's safety is violated, everyone feels their own safety is violated. A university should be a place of refuge that takes action against all forms of violence. That's why we believe that students should leave university believing in, striving for and expecting societies of true equality. Society of true equality in every sense. And universities have the power to be a vital catalyst for that change. Our ten impact champions have made this commitment and with their work, we know that they will inspire students, and other universities and schools across the world to dobetter. I am delighted to introduce this report on our progress, and I am eager to hear what's next. Thank you so much. Thank you so much!
As the sixth episode of the popular reality show "Running Man" aired, the highlight of the show was the English speech competition. The contestants were given the opportunity to showcase their English speaking skills in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. The competition was fierce, and each contestant brought their A-game to the stage.First up was the show's main host, Wang Zulan. With his charming smile and confident demeanor, he captivated the audience from the moment he stepped onto the stage. His speech was eloquent and well-structured, and he effortlessly wove in humor and personal anecdotes to engage the audience. His pronunciation was impeccable, and his confidence shone through in every word he spoke. It was clear that he had put in a lot of effort to prepare for this moment, and it paid off as he received a thunderous round of applause at the end of his speech.Next, it was the turn of the show's resident comedian, Deng Chao. Known for his quick wit and comedic timing, Deng Chao took a different approach to his speech. He used humor to connect with the audience, making them laugh with his clever wordplay and funny anecdotes. Despite the lighthearted tone of his speech, Deng Chao's English skills were top-notch, and he effortlessly delivered his speech with confidence and charisma. The audience was thoroughly entertained, and the judges were impressed by his unique and engaging presentation.Following Deng Chao was the show's youngest member, Lucas. As a non-native English speaker, Lucas faced the challenge of delivering a speech in a language that was not his first. However, he rose to the occasion and delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech about his journey on the show. His sincerity and passion shone through in every word, and it was clear that he had poured his heart into his speech. Despite a few minor mistakes in pronunciation, Lucas's genuine and moving speech resonated with the audience, earning him a standing ovation at the end. Finally, it was the turn of the show's special guest, international superstar Chris Hemsworth. As a native English speaker, Chris had the advantage of fluency and naturalness in his speech. However, he surprised everyone by delivering a speech in Mandarin, much to the delight of the audience. His effort to connect with the Chinese audience in their native language was met with cheers and applause, and his genuine humility and warmth endeared him to everyone in the room.In conclusion, the English speech competition on the sixth episode of "Running Man" was a resounding success. Each contestant brought their own unique style and personality to the stage, and the audience was treated to a diverse range of speeches that entertained, inspired, and moved them. It was a testament to the power of language and communication, and a reminder that no matter the language we speak, we can all connect and share our stories with one another.。

It is a great honor for me to stand before you today as a representative of the popular Chinese variety show, "Running Man," also known as "Keep Running." As we gather here at the United Nations, I would like to take this opportunity to address the importance of unity, teamwork, and cultural exchange in fostering global harmony."Running Man" is not just a television program; it is a symbol of collaboration, resilience, and friendship. The show brings together a diverse group of celebrities from various backgrounds, both within China and from around the world. Through a series of physical challenges, games, and adventures, the cast members learn to work together, overcome obstacles, and build strong bonds of camaraderie. In a world that is often divided by differences in culture, language, and ideology, "Running Man" serves as apowerful reminder that we are all fundamentally the same.It transcends borders and brings people together through laughter, entertainment, and shared experiences. The show has become a platform for cultural exchange, allowing participants to learn from one another and appreciate the richness and diversity of our global community. Moreover, "Running Man" embodies the spirit of teamwork. Each episode presents the cast members with new challenges that require cooperation, communication, and trust. By emphasizing the importance of teamwork, the show teaches us that by working together, we can achieve far more than we could ever accomplish individually. This lesson isapplicable not only in the entertainment industry but alsoin our everyday lives and in addressing the complex global issues we face.Furthermore, "Running Man" has played a significantrole in promoting tourism and showcasing the beauty of different regions and countries. The show has traveled to various locations worldwide, introducing viewers to the cultural heritage, natural wonders, and unique attractionsof each place. By doing so, it has inspired many to explore new destinations, fostering a sense of curiosity, understanding, and appreciation for different cultures. In conclusion, "Running Man" has become a cultural phenomenon that goes beyond entertainment. It promotes unity, teamwork, and cultural exchange, reminding us of our shared humanity and the importance of embracing diversity. As we continue to face global challenges, let us remember the valuable lessons taught by "Running Man" and strive to build a more harmonious and inclusive world.Thank you.。

In the name of God, the most beneficent, the most mercifulHonorable UN Secretary General Mr Ban Ki-moon, respected president of the General Assembly Vuk Jeremic, honorable UN envoy for global education Mr Gordon Brown, respected elders and my dear brothers and sisters: Assalamu alaikum.Today is it an honor for me to be speaking again after a long time. Being here with such honorable people is a great moment in my life and it is an honor for me that today I am wearing a shawl of the late Benazir Bhutto. I don't know where to begin my speech. I don't know what people would be expecting me to say, but first of all thank you to God for whom we all are equal and thank you to every person who has prayed for my fast recovery and new life. I cannot believe how much love people have shown me. I have received thousands of good wish cards and gifts from all over the world. Thank you to all of them. Thank you to the children whose innocent words encouraged me. Thank you to my elders whose prayers strengthened me. I would like to thank my nurses, doctors and the staff of the hospitals in Pakistan and the UK and the UAE government who have helped me to get better and recover my strength.I fully support UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in his Global Education First Initiative and the work of UN Special Envoy for Global Education Gordon Brown and the respectful president of the UN General Assembly Vuk Jeremic. I thank them for the leadership they continue to give. They continue to inspire all of us to action. Dear brothers and sisters, do remember one thing: Malala Day is not my day. Today is the day of every woman, every boy and every girl who have raised their voice for their rights. There are hundreds of human rights activists and social workers who are not only speaking for their rights, but who are struggling to achieve their goal of peace, education and equality. Thousands of people have been killed by the terrorists and millions have been injured. I am just one of them. So here I stand. So here I stand, one girl, among many. I speak not for myself, but so those without a voice can be heard. Those who have fought for their rights. Their right to live in peace. Their right to be treated with dignity. Their right to equality of opportunity. Their right to be educated.Dear friends, on 9 October 2012, the Taliban shot me on the left side of my forehead. They shot my friends, too. They thought that the bullets would silence us, but they failed. And out of that silence came thousands of voices. The terrorists thought they would change my aims and stop my ambitions. But nothing changed in my life except this: weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage was born.I am the same Malala. My ambitions are the same. My hopes are the same. And my dreams are the same. Dear sisters and brothers, I am not against anyone. Neitheram I here to speak in terms of personal revenge against the Taliban or any other terrorist group. I am here to speak for the right of education for every child. I want education for the sons and daughters of the Taliban and all the terrorists and extremists. I do not even hate the Talib who shot me. Even if there was a gun in my hand and he was standing in front of me, I would not shoot him. This is the compassion I have learned from Mohammed, the prophet of mercy, Jesus Christ and Lord Buddha. This the legacy of change I have inherited from Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Mohammed Ali Jinnah. This is the philosophy of nonviolence that I have learned from Gandhi, Bacha Khan and Mother Teresa. And this is the forgiveness that I have learned from my father and from my mother. This is what my soul is telling me: be peaceful and love everyone.Dear sisters and brothers, we realize the importance of light when we see darkness. We realize the importance of our voice when we are silenced. In the same way, when we were in Swat, the north of Pakistan, we realized the importance of pens and books when we saw the guns. The wise saying, "The pen is mightier than the sword." It is true. The extremists are afraid of books and pens. The power of education frightens them. They are afraid of women. The power of the voice of women frightens them. This is why they killed 14 innocent students in the recent attack in Quetta. And that is why they kill female teachers. That is why they are blasting schools every day because they were and they are afraid of change and equality that we will bring to our society. And I remember that there was a boy in our school who was asked by a journalist why are the Taliban against education? He answered very simply by pointing to his book, he said, "a Talib doesn't know what is written inside this book."They think that God is a tiny, little conservative being who would point guns at people's heads just for going to school. These terrorists are misusing the name of Islam for their own personal benefit. Pakistan is a peace loving, democratic country. Pashtuns want education for their daughters and sons. Islam is a religion of peace, humanity and brotherhood. It is the duty and responsibility to get education for each child, that is what it says. Peace is a necessity for education. In many parts of the world, especially Pakistan and Afghanistan, terrorism, war and conflicts stop children from going to schools. We are really tired of these wars. Women and children are suffering in many ways in many parts of the world. In India, innocent and poor children are victims of child labor. Many schools have been destroyed in Nigeria. People in Afghanistan have been affected by extremism. Young girls have to do domestic child labor and are forced to get married at an early age. Poverty, ignorance, injustice, racism and the deprivation of basic rights are the main problems, faced by both men and women.Today I am focusing on women's rights and girls' education because they are suffering the most. There was a time when women activists asked men to stand up for their rights. But this time we will do it by ourselves. I am not telling men to step away from speaking for women's rights, but I am focusing on women to be independent and fight for themselves. So dear sisters and brothers, now it's time to speak up. So today, we call upon the world leaders to change their strategic policies in favor of peace and prosperity. We call upon the world leaders that all of these deals must protect women and children's rights. A deal that goes against the rights of women is unacceptable. We call upon all governments to ensure free, compulsory education all over the world for every child. We call upon all the governments to fight against terrorism and violence. To protect children from brutality and harm. We call upon the developed nations to support the expansion of education opportunities for girls in the developing world. We call upon all communities to be tolerant, to reject prejudice based on caste, creed, sect, color, religion or agenda to ensure freedom and equality for women so they can flourish. We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back. We call upon our sisters around the world to be brave, to embrace the strength within themselves and realize their full potential.Dear brothers and sisters, we want schools and education for every child's bright future. We will continue our journey to our destination of peace and education. No one can stop us. We will speak up for our rights and we will bring change to our voice. We believe in the power and the strength of our words. Our words can change the whole world because we ware all together, united for the cause of education. And if we want to achieve our goal, then let us empower ourselves with the weapon of knowledge and let us shield ourselves with unity and togetherness.Dear brothers and sisters, we must not forget that millions of people are suffering from poverty and injustice and ignorance. We must not forget that millions of children are out of their schools. We must not forget that our sisters and brothers are waiting for a bright, peaceful future. There are hundreds of human rights activists and social workers who are not only speaking for their rights, but who are struggling to achieve their goal of peace, education and equality. Guess how many Seventy-three people in one time. As a mother, I really hope that my child and every child in the world will grow up happy and healthy, but unfortunately, each year, more than six million children die before five years old. Therefore, health is extremelyimportant. In 2015, world leaders adopted the “2030 sustainable development agenda” that aims to end poverty, reduce inequalities and combat climate change.

Speech by UN Women Goodwill AmbassadorEmma Watson at a special event for the HeForShe campaign,United Nations Headquarters, New York,20 SeptemberYour excellences, UN SecretaryGeneral, president of the General Assembly, executive Director of UN Women and distinguished guests it is an honour for me tobe here today.Today we are launching a campaign called “HeForShe.”I am reaching out to you because I need your help. We want to end gender inequality—and to do that we need everyone involved. This is the first campaign of its kind at the UN: we want to try and galvanize as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for change. And we don’t just want to talk about it, we want to try and make sure that it is tangible.I was appointed as goodwill ambassador for UN women six months ago and the more I have spoken about feminism the more I have realized that fighting for women’s rights has too often become synonymous with manhating. If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop. For the record, feminism by definition is: “The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.”I started questioning genderbased assumptions a long time ago. When I was eight I was confused at being called “bossy,” because I wanted to direct the plays wewould put on for our parents—but the boys were not. When at 14 I started being sexualized by certain elements of the media. When at 15 my girlfriends started dropping out of their sports teams because they didn’t want to appear “muscly.”When at 18 my male friends were unable to express their feelings.I decided that I was a feminist and this seemed uncomplicated to me. But my recent research has shown me that feminism has become an unpopular word.Women are choosing not to identify as feminists. Apparently I am among the ranks of women whose expressions are seen as too strong, too aggressive, isolating, and antimen, unattractive, even. Why has the word become such an uncomfortable one?I am from Britain andIthink it is right that I am paid the same as my male counterparts. I think it is right that I should be able to make decisions about my own body. I think it is right that women be involved on my behalf in the policies and decisions that willaffect my life.I think it is right that socially I am afforded the same respect as men. But sadly I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these rights. No country in the world can yet say that they have achieved gender equality. These rights I consider to be human rights but I am one of the lucky ones. My life is a sheer privilege because my parents didn’t love me less because I was born a daughter. My school did not limit me because I was a girl. My mentors didn’t assume I would go less far because I might give birth to a child one day. These influencers were the gender equality ambassadors that made who I am today. They may not know it, but they are the inadvertent feminists who are changing the world today. We need more of those. And if you still hate the word—it is not the word that is important, it’s the idea and the ambition behind it, because not all women have received the same rights that I have. In fact, statistically, very few have been.In 1997, Hilary Clinton made a famous speech in Beijing about women’s rights. Sadly many of the things shewanted to change are still true today. But what stood out for me the most was that less than 30 percent of her audiences were male. How can we affect change in the world when only half of it is invited or feel welcome to participate in the conversation? Men—I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal invitation. Gender equality is your issue too. Because to date, I’ve seen my father’s role as a parent being valued less by society despite my needing his presence as a child as much as my mother’s.I’ve seen young men suffering from mental illness unable to ask for help for fear it would make them less “of a man” or less of “macho”—in fact in the UK suicide is the biggest killer of men between 2049; eclipsing road accidents, cancer and coronary heart disease. I’ve seen men made fragile and insecure by a distorted sense of what constitutes male succes s. Men don’t have the benefits of equality either. We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes but I can see that that they are and that when they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence. If men don’t have t o be aggressive in order to be accepted, women won’t feel compelled to be submissive. If men don’t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong… It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals. If we stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by who we are—we can all be freer and this is what HeForShe is about. It’s about freedom.I want men to take up this mantle. So their daughters, sisters and mothers can be free from prejudice but also so that their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human too—reclaim those parts of themselves they abandoned and in doing so be a more true and complete version of themselves. You might be thinking who is this Harry Potter girl? And what is she doing speaking at the UN. And it’s a really good question. I have been asking myself the same thing. All I know is that I care about this problem. And I want to make it better. And having seen what I’ve seen—and given the chance—I feel it is my responsibilityto say something. Statesman Edmund Burke said: “All that is needed for the forces of evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing.”In my nervousness for this speech and in my moments of doubt I’ve told myself firmly—if not me, who, if not now, when. If you have similar doubts when opportunities are presented to you I hope that those words might be helpful.Because the reality is that if we do nothing it will take 75 years, or for me to be nearly a hundred before women can expect to be paid the same as men for the same work. 15.5 million girls will be married in the next 16 years as children. And at current rates it won’t be until 2086 before all rural African girls can have a secondary education. If you believe in equality, you might be one of those inadvertent feminists that I spoke of earlier. And for this I applaud you.We are struggling for a uniting world but the good news is we have a uniting movement. It is called HeForShe. I am inviting you to step forward, to be seen and to ask yourself if not me, who, if not now, when. Thank you very very much.。
