uppolicy,chinahaswitnessedremarkablechangesinvariousfieldsandhasattrac tedworldwideattention,soawhollynewword"china'srise"cameintobeing.int heworldarena,therearetwoapparentlydifferentviewpointstowardschina'sris e.somecountriessubjectivelyandbaselesslythinkchina'sriseishorrifyingandw orrying,theyinterpretchinaasagrowingmonster,puttingforward"chinathreat theory"todeterorcontainthisgreatcountry.butiholdthetotallyoppositeopinio n.chinahasdiligent,wiseandcharismaticleaders,andmostimportantly,allofth emarestaunchsupportersofapeacefulandprosperousworld.everyyear,chinas endsalargenumberofpeacekeeperstounstableareasallovertheworld,andchi nanowhasmorepeacekeepersthananyothercountry.thoughchinaattachesgr eatsignificancetoitsmilitaryaffairs,thepurposearejusttocarryonself-defenceandmaintainpeaceinsteadofinvadingorthreateningothers.astoecon omyandtrade,thisyear,chinahassurpassedjapanineconomicvolume,rankings econdmerelyaftertheus.chinahasbecameanimportantexportmarketnotonly foritsneighboringcountries,includingtherepublicofkoreaandjapan,butalsoth eeuandtheus.especiallyafterthefinancialcrisisoccuringinxx,chinahasbeenle
adingglobaleconomicrecovery.inthemeantime,chinaisaresponsiblecountry withararesenseofresponsibilitytoallhumanity.itsaidtodevelopingcountriesh asbeenunconditional,andontheotherhand,chinawaivedmanydebtsofscores ofleastdevelopedcountriesfromafrica,asia,thecaribbeanandthesouthpacific .chinaisapeace-
lovingcountry,butthatdoesn'tmeantogainpeaceandstability,itwillgiveupnec essaryprinciples.itfirmlyupholdsitsnationalcoreinterests.whenitcomestosov ereigntyandterritorialintegrity,chinawillnotyieldorcompromise,theyaresoh olythatnocountrycaninterfere.chinaknowsperfectlythatitcan'tdevelopinisol ationfromtherestoftheworld,sochinaismorethanhappytoworkwithanycount rieswhoarewillingtoadheretopoliticaltrustandmutualcooperation.chinaacti velysupportssolvingdisputesthroughdialogueandnegotiationinapeacefulwa y,anditwillunswervinglyfollowthepathofpeacefuldevelopmentandstayopen andinclusive.ourleadershavebeenreiteratingwedon'tseekhegemonynow,an dwewon'tdoiteitherevenwhenchinaisadevelopedcountry.inaword,china'sri seissuretobeagoodchanceforahealthierandricherworld.
