Nce2-49:The end of dream:美梦告终1、分词式从句:1)在含有“时间、原因状语从句”的主从复合句中,如果“主句和从句的主语一致”(即主语是同一人或物),从句可进行分词式改写:将从句的关系副词和主语去掉,将谓语动词变为现在分词。

例:Because I got up late, I came to school late.Getting up late, I came to school late.例:When my husband received a lettler, he called back.Receiving a letter, he called back.例:When I am thirsty, I want to drink tea most.Being thirstry, I want to drink tea most.(以Being开头者,Being可以省略,即:Thirsty,I want to drink tea most)2)改写时,状语从句的动作与主句的动作(1)如果同时发生,改写的状语从句,放在主句之前、之后均可(2)如果状语从句发生在前,改写的状语从句放在主句之前,并用逗号隔开。

tire是轮胎的意思,如“spare-tire”就是我们常见的“备胎”。

轮胎⼀直转,是汽车磨损最快的⼀个部件,所以它对应的形容词⾃然就是“劳累的”“⾟苦的”的意思 I strongly advised my boss to hire a "spare-tire", because I am so tired. But he refused. 我强烈建议我们的⽼板再招⼀个⼈,我实在是太累了。

但是他拒绝了。

(2)Teheran 伊朗⾸都德⿊兰。

世界上各个国家的⾸都记忆是⼀项很重要的⼯作,应按照区域记忆。

如,中东区域的⼏个国家(尤其是新闻中经常涉及的)放在⼀起进⾏记忆,效果事半功倍。

(3)for+时间段的时间状语 ⼀般我们讲这样的时间状语对应的是完成时且只能对应完成时,但是在新概念中经常会涉及到这样的情况:save up“存款”这样⼀个概念是没必要强调其时态是完成时的,存款本⾝意思上就不可能是瞬间,只可能放在时间段内。

be tired of sth./sb./doing sth.Eg:the young man was tired of sleeping on the floor.I’m tired of staying at home and doing nothing.Be tired out=be exhausted 筋疲力尽★real adj. 真是存在的,不是想象的 口语中:really? 反义词:无,不存在的true: 真挚,真诚,符合标准 反义词:假李宇春是真男人!True man/real man两者细微差别主要在于:real 表示的“真”,是相对想象、错觉、幻觉、伪造等而言的,反义词为无而 true 表示“真”,主要指符合特定的标准。

反义词为假It’s a real man, not a robot. 那是真人,不是机器人。
