一堂初中英语阅读课的教学设计

摘要:本文通过对一节阅读课的教学设计进行分析,强调了在英语教学中,教师应该通过任务型教学设计,通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式,使学生发现语言的规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能。

关键词:英语阅读课;教学目标;教学过程;教学反思

阅读教学是中学英语教学的重要内容。中学英语教师的阅读教学设计能力直接关系到学生阅读能力和综合语言运用能力的提高。本文通过对一节阅读课的教学设计进行分析,强调了在英语教学中,教师应该通过任务型教学设计,通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式,使学生发现语言的规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能。

下面以go for it! 教材九年级unit 6 i like music that i can dance to. 中的 reading i only eat food that tastes good. 作为一节教学设计的课例。

一、教学目标

(1)learn the words and phrases from the contest.

(2)train the students’reading and writing skills.

(3)deal with the language goal in the unit:express preferences.

二、教学重点、难点

(1)structures: “i prefer not to …”, “i only eat food

that …”

(2)train the students’reading and writing skills.

三、教学过程

step i warming up and lead-in

播放歌曲“as long as you love me”之后,提出下列问题:

(1) do you like the song? what kind of music do you like?

(2) what kind of food do you like?

step ii pre-reading

(1)利用图片播放linda’s diet 和jack’s diet 并作对比。

question: which diet is healthier? why?

(2)lead in the new expressions and key sentences through the pictures.

(3)learn the learning strategy:

knowing different styles of english

there are many styles of english:

①to learn to “speak” english, read plays and novels thatcontain spoken language.

②to learn to “write” english, read newspaper articles.

task1. fast reading

t: now read the text quickly and try to find out the answers to the following questions.

(1)what are they talking about?

a. studying

b. traveling

c. opinions about eating habits.

(2)how many people are there in the discussion?

a. three

b. four

c. five

task2. careful reading

divide the class into groups of three, and ask them to read the conversation aloud three times——changing parts each time.

(1)read through the discussion carefully and find out peter’s ideas.

(2)read through the discussion carefully, and find out tony’s ideas .

(3)read through the discussion carefully, then find out laura’s ideas .

(4)read again and and try to retell the test..

task 3. summary

get students to summarize peter’s main idea, tony’s main

idea and laura’s main idea. then compare which is the healthiest diet?

task1. interview your classmates about their diets. then give us a report.

task2. competition

让学生分组讨论如何保持健康,给出合理建议。以一分钟倒计时的方式抢答,使其在激烈的竞争中使学生在活动中互相学习,互相帮助,互相鼓励,体验集体荣誉感和成就感,发展合作精神。最后引导学生总结出“the first wealth is health.”这一结论。

这个课后作业的设计主要是让学生联系学生生活实际,调查并写出父母的饮食习惯。引导学生关心他人,保持健康。

经过教学实践,我体会到一堂好的阅读课,要把阅读的重心放在发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别要注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。同时还要考虑学生对背景知识的理解程度、自信心、学习动力以及已有的知识经验等。在设计阅读活动任务时要考虑任务的难度等级。通过多媒体课件制作等激发学生的学习热情,使材料由抽象转化为具体、形象,降低学生的难度。
