BP2808 是一款驱动 LED 的恒流控制芯片,系统应 用电压范围从 12VDC 到 600VDC,占空比从 0-100%。 支持交流 85V-265V 输入,主要应用于非隔离的 LED 驱动系统。BP2808 采用专利技术的恒流控制和补 偿方法,使得 LED 电流从交流 85V-265V 范围内变 化小于±5%。而且,BP2808 采用专利技术的驱动 结构,使得系统 18W 的 LED 日光灯方案中,在交 流 176V-265V 范围内系统效率高于 91%。在交流 85V-265V 范围内,BP2808 可以驱动从 3W 到 36W 的 LED 阵列,广泛应用于 E14 / E27 / PAR30 / PAR38 / GU10 等灯杯和 LED 日光灯。 BP2808 具有多重 LED 保护功能包括 LED 开路保护、 LED 短路保护、过温保护。在系统故障出现的时候, 电源系统进入保护状态,直到故障解除,系统又 重新进入正常工作模式。 BP2808 采用 SOP8 封装。

概述BP2808是一款驱动LED的恒流控制芯片,系统应用电压范围从12VDC到600VDC,占空比最大可达100%。

支持交流85V-265V输入,主要应用于非隔离的LED驱动系统,也可以用于Flyback隔离方案。

BP2808采用专利技术的源级驱动和恒流补偿方法,使得LED电流从交流85V-265V范围内变化小于±3%。

而且,BP2808采用专利技术的驱动结构,使得系统18W的LED日光灯方案中,在交流85V-265V范围内系统效率高于90%。

在交流85V-265V范围内,BP2808可以驱动从3W到36W 的LED阵列,广泛应用于E14 / E27 / PAR30 / PAR38 / GU10等灯杯和LED日光灯。

BP2808具有多重LED保护功能包括LED开路保护、LED短路保护、过温保护。

在系统故障出现的时候,电源系统进入保护状态,直到故障解除,系统又重新进入正常工作模式。

BP2808 LED驱动电源设计指南
使用说明
1)确定LED输出要求(功率、电流、串并联结构),在蓝色格内填入LED电流、串联个数和正向压降。

系统自动计算输出电压和功率。

2)根据LED电流,客户根据系统要求选择电感纹波电流(I RIPPLE),因为本系统要求工作在连续模式,建议设置电感纹波电流范围(平均电流的±30%~±70%)。

增大纹波电流可以减小电感值,开关损耗也会减小,但是一定要保证电感电流连续(考虑电感偏差等因素,建议纹波电流小于±70%),否则不能恒流。

3)在紫色格子填入固定关断时间(T OFF)设定电阻,系统自动计算固定关断时间,系统频率f=(V IN-V LED)/(T OFF*V IN)。

4) 根据纹波电流(I RIPPLE)、输出电压(V LED)和关断时间(T OFF),系统自动选择电感值(L)。

5)根据LED电流和纹波电流,系统自动计算峰值电流(I PEAK)和峰值电流设定电阻(R CS)。

6)本系统为自动变频控制方法,在很宽输入电压范围,LED电流保持恒定。

在绿色格子填入输入电压,系统计算工作频率,若输入电压和工作频率内字体出现红色斜体,说明输入电压太低或工作频率不合适。

设计频率太低(小于20kHz),容易引入音频噪声;或者太高(大于150kHz),系统效率降低。

7)本方案输出电流不随输入电压变化而变化。

但是考虑到系统延时,输出电流随输入电压升高而变大。

方案包括系统延时补偿功能,通过VLN实现,VLN增加1V,电流减小6%。

VLN由启动电阻和补偿电阻分压输入电压决定。

The value required varies greatly depending upon the application circuit and other factors. The high frequency characteristics of electrolytic capacitors depend greatly on the type and also on the manufacturer. Sometimes only bench testing is the only means to deter-mine the proper capacitor type and value. The high quality 100µF aluminum electrolytic cov-ers all general application circuits, this stability can be obtained with a tantalum electrolytic value of 47µF.Another critical point of electrolytic character-istics is its performance over temperature. The SPX2808 is designed to operate starting at -40°C which may not be true in the case of electrolytic. Higher temperatures generally no problem. The electrolytic. type in aluminum will freeze around -30°C. This could cause an oscillation at output of regulator. At a lower temperature requirement by many applications the capacitor should maintain its performance. So as a result, for an application which regulator junction temperature does not exceed 25°C, the output capacitor can be reduced by the factor of two over the value needed for the entire tem-perature range.In most applications the SPX2808 is operating at few milliamps. In these applications the out-put capacitance can be further reduced. For example, when the regulator is running at 10mA output current the output capacitance value is half compared to the same regulator that is running at 100mA. The value decreases with higher output voltages, since the internal loop gain is reduced.The worst case occurs at the lower temperature and maximum operating currents, the entire circuit and the electrolytic, should be cooled down to the minimum temperature. The mini-mum of 0.6 volts required at the input of regula-tor above the output to keep the power dissipa-tion and die heating to its minimum. 断续模式,LED 输出电流会背离设计值;而当电 感量很大时,tOFF 又可能会超出芯片的最大退磁 时间,这时系统就会进入电感电流连续模式,输 出 LED 电流同样也会背离设计值。 所以选择合适 的电感值很重要。 6 保护功能 BP2808B 内置多种保护功能,包括输出 LED 短路 保护,电流检测电阻短路保护和芯片过温保护。 芯片工作时自动检测负载状态, 如果输出 LED 短 路或电流检测电阻短路, 芯片立刻进入短路保护 状态,外部功率 MOSFET 被关断。同时,芯片不 断检测负载状态,直到故障解除,当外部短路故 障解除后,芯片自动恢复到正常工作。 内部过热保护电路检测芯片结温度, 当结温度超 过热保护阈值时,芯片进入过热保护状态,外部 功率 MOSFET 立刻被关断,直到结温度下降 30℃ 以后,芯片才会退出过热保护状态,恢复到正常 工作。 7 PCB 设计 在设计 BP2808B PCB 时,需要遵循以下指南: 旁路电容 VCC 的旁路电容需要紧靠芯片 VCC 和 GND 引脚。 地线 电流采样电阻的功率地线尽可能短, 且要和芯片 的地线及其它小信号的地线分头接到 Bulk 电容 的地端。 功率环路的面积 功率环路的面积要尽量小,以减小 EMI 辐射。

BP2808B 是一款专为 LED 照明设计的恒流驱动芯 片,应用于非隔离的降压型 LED 电源系统。 BP2808B 采用专利的恒流控制方法和源极驱动技 术, 只需要很少的外围元件就可以达到优异的恒 流特性,系统成本低,效率高。 1 启动 系统上电后,启动电阻对 VCC 电容充电,当 VCC 电 压达到芯片开启阈值时, 芯片开始工作。 BP2808B 内置 12.5V 稳压管,VCC 电压被箝位到 12.5V。 2 恒流控制,输出 LED 电流设置 BP2808B 采用专利的恒流控制方法,只需要很少 的外围元件,即可实现高精度的恒流输出。芯片 逐周期检测电感的峰值电流,CS 端连接到内部 峰值电流比较器的输入端, 与内部 400mV 阈值电 压进行比较,当 CS 电压达到内部检测阈值时, 功率管关断。 CS 比较器的输出还包括一个 350ns 的前沿消隐时间。 电感峰值电流的计算公式: 其中,VCS 是内部电流检测比较器的阈值;VLN 是 LN 端检测电压;VCC 是芯片电源电压。 4 源极驱动 BP2808B 采用专利的源极驱动技术, VCC 静态工作 电流低至 200uA,无需辅助绕组供电, 简化设计, 降低系统成本。 5 储能电感 BP2808B 工作在电感电流临界模式,当芯片输出 脉冲时,外部功率 MOSFET 导通,流过储能电感 的电流从零开始上升,功率管的导通时间为:
其中,f 为系统工作频率。BP2808B 的系统工作 频率和输入电压成正比关系。 设置 BP2808B 系统 工作频率时, 选择在输入电压最小时设置系统的 最低工作频率,而当输入电压最高时,系统的工 作频率也最高。 BP2808B 设置了系统的最小退磁时间和最大退磁 时间,分别为 4us 和 130us。由 tOFF 的计算公式 可知,如果电感量很小时,tOFF 很可能会小于芯 片的最小退磁时间, 这时系统就会进入电感电流
