cringe 在中文中的意思是“漂亮”,英文中则是指那些长相帅气或可爱的男孩女孩。
但它并不仅限于用来形容男生或女生,现如今也有很多用来形容别的事物,例如形容一个事情“非常完美”就会用到cringe 这个词。
cringe 是由三个词组成:“ c”表示拟声词,代表“ look! Look at that girl.她看上去真的很漂亮!”;“ s”表示形容词,代表“ very beautiful”,表达对某件事物很惊艳、非常好看的意思;“ ing”表示名词,代表“ fabulously, wonderfully, absolutely special”等等之类的形容词,表达“…了不起,令人难以置信的,绝对独特的”这样的意思。
所以, cringe 的含义就是:“漂亮极了!简直太棒了!真是难以置信!”,大家千万不要理解错误哦~~~
cringe 是近年来才被人们广泛使用起来的网络新词,其实这种说法早在2012年就已经出现过,最初在国外兴起的时候,其他语言都称呼这种语言为“ kilir (奇葩)”,但后来因为被人们发掘出来其巨大的“搞笑潜质”,便慢慢流传开来。
