教学伊始,我就遇到了种种问题。

从学生认知的角度看,英语总分只有50分(六年级只有20分),在学生眼里英语就是"豆芽科"、"杂牌科";很大一部分学生认为,初中还要重新学英语,到那时我再认真学也不算晚;也有部分学生的潜意识里,根本没有把学习英语当一回事儿,有一名同学,在课后告诉我,他根本不想学英语,他说:"把中国话学好就行了,为什么还要学英语呢,我也不打算出国"。

从家庭上看,我们学生的家庭大部分属于农村家庭,家长别说说英语,就是听得懂英语的都是少之又少,更何况辅导孩子了,所以根本就谈不上重视了。

从环境上看,学生除了在课堂短短的40分钟外,基本就没有应用英语的地方,等等等等诸多原因,使我的英语教学开展起来非常不顺畅。

我使出浑身解数来解决这些问题。

我觉得要解决这些问题,必须从学习兴趣、学习习惯、学习方法和英语学习的延续上去入手解决。

一、双管齐下,激发学生学习兴趣。

兴趣是最好的老师。

只有不断提高学生学习英语的自信心,才能激活英语课堂;只有学生对所要学习的知识产生兴趣,才能乐学、善学。

我从事六年级的工作有几年了,积累了一些小小的经验,现在和大家分享一下我的经验。

一.对学生严格要求抓好课堂40分钟,提高课堂效率,严格要求学生。

平时在课堂上严格要求学生,该堂课上要求会写的单词,该做好的句型练习,一般在课堂上完成。

目的是让学生进行独立思考,独立完成,不占课余时间,让学生减少抄袭现象。

差生完成不了的,我就在旁边辅导,直到全部学生都过关为止。

二、有效地指导学生学习1.反复复习主要单词、注意新旧结合新标准教材六年级上下册的新单词比较少,而单词主要集中在四五年级教材上,所以我在上六年级的教材时,常常会将四五年级的主要单词提炼出来,要求学生进行读写,这样可以让中上成绩的学生记忆犹新。

比如像listen to music、play football、play chess等等这些单词,上课时我把它们做成单词卡进行教学,下一节课再进行听写。

我分三个阶段进行: 1.以教材为本,复习三-六年级的教材,对各单 元的知识要点进行梳理,查缺补漏。 2.点面结合。学生熟悉了教材内容后,我们老师 就带领学生把分散的语言、句型、语法点进行整 体归纳、总结,帮助学生建立“知识串”。 3.侧重技巧。这一阶段就要侧重对做题技巧的讲 解和易错题归纳,指导学生做题的技巧和注意事 项。
(四)发挥学生的主动性
上复习课很多时候都是老师讲,学生听,但这样 效果不是很理想。我们可以用小组合作的方式进 行,通过学生小组学习,学生一起归纳总结、分 享学习方法并完成老师布置的复习任务。如作文 复习、时态复习……
(五)营造宽松的复习氛围, 注意劳逸结合
复习阶段时间紧、内容多,天气又炎热,学生压 力大,情绪波动也大。作为老师我们要多点耐心、 多点鼓励。上课尽量设置些新颖的方法来吸引学 生,可以激发并保持学生的学习状态,才能提高 复习效率。

一、本校情况
我学校六年级现有8个班,英语科任教师4人, 每人任教2个班,这是我们任职以来任教班级最 少的一年,非常感谢校领导的体恤。我校开设早 课和加课,所以课时量还算比较足。但我校学生 的英语水平参差不齐,两极分化比较严重,学困 生比重偏大,要想从整体上提高学生的英语成绩, 难度还是很大的,而我校学生最大的难处就在单 词记忆这一块。

小学英语毕业班教学经验交流
今年毕业班英语学科是首次进行监测,这说明小学英语教育逐渐被各方面所重视,我校的小学英语师资队伍较为整齐,有5名专职的英语教师,其中有两位任教毕业班,两位老师各任教两个班,这在一定程度上会对老师们有所鞭策,而且也有利于老师狠抓成绩,提高教学质量。

另外去年我们六年级的教室里也都配备了多媒体设备,教学过程更直观,更有助于学生掌握知识。

下面我从五个方面来谈谈我校在抓英语教学方面的一些做法,跟大家交流,也希望能向大家取经。

一、了解学生学情,加强日常单词教学
我校学生基本上都是民工子女,学生家庭环境不是很好,父母亲每天早出晚归务工在外,学生缺少父母的督促和监管,学习习惯不太良好,课堂上所学内容不能在课后及时巩固,学生英语基础相对较差,两极分化比较严重,学困生比重偏大,可以说,要想从整体上提高学生的英语成绩,难度还是很大的,而我们学校的学生最大难处就在单词记忆这一块,在三-五年级时没有记忆单词的习惯,家长根本就不过问。

因此,在单词学习这一块及早动手,毕业班的老师们会在六年级上学期就把三-六年级的四会英语单词分类归类、复印,然后发放给学生,人手一份;把班级学生分成小组,四个、五个一组,让学生相互帮助,自主合作复习单词;然后我在课堂教学中设置了5分钟四会单词听写,以促进学生对单词的学习,每节课听写5-7个单词,以保证对现学单词的巩固记忆和对前面年级所学单词的复习。

基础好的学生基本上能做到每天的单词都会书写,这占班级总人数的40%的样子,这部分学生不需你刻意的关注,自主学习能力很强;基础中等的学生大概也占40%,他们是需要鼓励的一部分,你引导得好上进很快,信心也慢慢起来了;而剩下的20%的学生基本属于学困的,对他们不要做太高的要求,我的做法是对这部分学生鼓励他们每天记一个或者两个单词,其他的几个记不下来的就每个抄十遍或二十遍,让他们对这些单词有点印象就行。

学校里再通过组织六年级全体学生单词过关这样的活动来对学生的单词
识记情况进行摸底。

这样下来学生对记单词没有很大的压力,也很乐意做,对单词的记忆在总复习前基本能做完,单词这关过了,复习起来就轻车熟路了。

二、透彻了解教材,精心制定复习计划
总复习不同于将所有学过的内容简单地再过一遍,其关键在于对全部教材的内容进行梳理,使学生在脑海里建立起知识间的联系,达到举一反三、融会贯通,从而夯实已学知识,并形成运用能力。

要达到这种效果,我们老师必须对教材系统有比较透彻的了解,对各单元之间的关系、各主题在全部教材中的地位、各大知识和话题板块的内容及要求有深刻的认识。

现行的英语教材,词汇量、句型、日常交际用语比较多,在复习前,对复习内容及复习安排做到心中有数,目标明确。

根据学生实际情况,针对他们在学习上的薄弱环节制定切实可行的复习计划,合理安排复习时间,然后依照计划精心设计好每一节复习课进行有效的复习。

在情景中复现有关语言材料,鼓励学生尝试自已去总结归纳出一些共性的语言规律。

教师对这些语言规律,进行系统的梳理,帮助学生把这些语言知识内化为自已的知识结构。

三、教法讲究条理性和针对性,遵循精讲多练的原则
一般做法是把复习分成三个阶段:
第一阶段以教材为本,侧重于教材的复习与梳理,把六年级的课本内容上完后尽快进入这轮复习,四月初开始,历时二十天左右。

师生一起把 3-6年级课本都全册快速地过一遍,通过教材的重现来归纳语言点,讲透语言点,对各单元的知识要点进行梳理,同时应注意基础单词、词组、句型的过关,让学生对所学的英语知识进行“查漏补缺”。

这一阶段我们老师可以帮助学生把重点内容打印出来发给学生,帮助学生回想所学过的知识点,让学生课后读读写写,以便让学生印象更加深刻,让学生在后面的复习时有查阅的依据。

第二阶段进行横向复习,做到点面结合。

这轮复习时间持续的时间稍长点,四月底到五月底历时需要四十天左右。

教材内容熟悉后我们老师带领学生把散落于各册书中的语
言、句型、语法点等通过话题的形式进行整体归纳、小结,帮助学生构建紧密联系的“知识串”,使知识系统化、清晰化。

第三阶段的复习,侧重对做题技巧的讲解和做一些学生容易出错的题目,指导学生掌握一些做题的要领及注意事项。

到了六月份,马上面临考试,知识体系已经清晰,单词、句式、语法等要点学生以基本理清、理解,我们在这个时候要做的是多鼓励学生,给学生建立自信心。

由于今年的毕业班英语测验增加了写作,刚得知这一消息时,老师们都很紧张,深怕学生写不出来,在复习阶段遇到能写的话题都会尽量让学生练练笔,因为在前面的单词复习已经比较扎实了,所以基本上学生的问题都会出在语法点上,通过反复的写与修改,学生们也渐渐掌握了一些最基本的英语写作技巧。

四、学法突出实用性和合作性,发挥学生的主动性
上复习课单是老师讲学生听效果并不理想。

新课标要求在教学中培养学生的自主学习能力,所以我们要开动脑筋,变换教学的方式,调动学生的学习主观能动性,让学生当学习的主人。

在复习过程中,我们可以用小组合作的方式,通过学生小组学习,一起归纳总结,一起分享学习的方法和成功的经验,一起完成老师布置的复习任务。

通过这个方法,能充分发挥学生学习的主动性,体现了他们学习的主体地位,化被动为主动,使他们对知识的印象更深刻。

对于重难点、易混淆、易出错的语言点, 还应多加复习指导和练习,再拿出来跟学生细嚼,让他们重点消化吸收。

在复习的过程中,我们应注意对学生综合运用语言能力的培养,进行听、说、读、写的全面训练,并设计些让学生连贯运用的语言任务,如读一段对话或短文,去捕获相关信息;短文或对话的阅读理解、连贯的口头对话或描述、据某一主题或图片写一段话等。

以此培养学生语言交际时的语感、对语篇的理解能力以及能运用所学的英语知识解决实际生活中的问题。

五、营造宽松的复习氛围,注意劳逸结合。

复习阶段时间紧、内容多而杂,学生压力大,情绪波动也大。

我们要耐心地疏导、鼓励他们,使其能在平静宽松的氛围中进行有序的复习,尽量设计些新颖别致的复习方法来吸引学生,目的是让学生在一种轻松而有趣的氛围下完成复习环节并很好的掌握所学的知识。

对于他们的点滴进步,都要给予及时的表扬,通过鼓励、表扬、提醒、肯定等方式给予学生适当的评价,激发他们学好英语的动力,帮他们树立信心。

复习安排还要注意劳逸结合,减轻学生的复习压力和负担,帮助他们克服紧张情绪,让每位学生保持良好的心理和生理状态。

我们可以在复习过程中穿插游戏,歌曲,讨论,表演等形式,保持学生学习的兴趣,可以激发并持久保持学生的学习状态。

这样才能提高复习效率。
