Speaking讨论抽烟带来的危害,为了与听力部分的内容衔接,我对Speaking中的话题作个修改,把讨论吸烟的危害改编成毒品的危害。
在这节听说课之前,学生学习了Reading and vocabulary,通过阅读文章,已经掌握了部分抽烟、吸毒及其危害的词汇,本课时由复习旧课入手,引入新课的新词汇,并以听说为主线,对吸毒这一主题进行延伸和拓展。
二、教学目标本模块是通过学习表达吸毒及其危害的词语和其它语言形式,养成良好生活习惯,教育学生关爱社会,关爱他人,远离毒品。

在课文里描述了Adam Rouse的吸毒经历及毒品的危害。
三、设计思路本堂课我采用任务型教学,我本着以人为本的教学理念,学生从用中学,学以致用。
学生带着任务去阅读课文,在完成任务的过程中学习知识,获得技能。
从而达到课堂教学的目标。
四、教学目标1.让学生识记与吸毒有关的词语。
2.阅读文章后通过回答问题、填空、选择等方式,培养学生分析问题的能力及解决问题的能力。

从而鼓励学生远离烟和毒品,养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会关爱他人,并通过所学知识运用恰当方式规劝他人也远离烟和毒品。
1.1 INTRODUCTION通过对抽烟数据的检测,让学生了解吸烟的危害,并通过英英释义的方式进一步熟悉词汇,最后利用对三个问题的讨论来引出另一个话题: drug use。
1.2 READING AND VOCABULARY 阅读部分是打乱顺序的两篇不同类型的文章,通过给两篇文章选标题的方式培养学生的逻辑分析能力。
然后通过练习使学生掌握有关drug use的词汇,并培养学生获取准确信息的能力。
1.3 GRAMMAR 1 是学习不定式作目的状语的用法。
在练习前先列出to 的几种不同用法来引出to 可作目的状语。
接着又引出了其它可作目的状语的短语:in order (not) to, so as (not) to。
1.4 FUNCTION 这一部分先展现例句引出要学的短语,然后通过练习来巩固所学内容。
1.5 LISTENING AND VOCABULARY 是关于drug users 的一些信息。
在听之前通过问答的方式先巩固词汇,然后采用问答和完成句子的形式对所听内容进行检测,培养学生获取信息并再现的能力。
1.6 GRAMMAR 2 通过不同类型的例句引出引导结果状语从句的词: so与such以及对so与such区别的讨论,然后通过练习来巩固其用法。

二、教学内容及模块整体分析本课题选自必修二第二模块No Drugs,该模块主要学习表达抽烟、吸毒及其危害的词语和其他语言形式,养成良好的生活习惯,远离毒品,了解我国和一些国家中通过公益服务帮助沾染换习惯的弱势群体的情况,关爱社会关爱他人。
本课是该模块的第一课时,由Introduction和Cultural Corner组成,使学生初步接触描写抽烟、吸毒及其危害的词语,并通过说的活动对其进行进一步理解和巩固,然后通过阅读文章学习一些语言点,提高阅读理解能力和解决问题的能力,并使学生充分认识到戒烟的好处,养成良好的生活习惯,因此本课具有很重要的学习和教育意义。
三、学情分析当前在中学生中吸烟现象比较常见,课本内容接近学生生活,对学生有教育意义,容易激发学生的学习热情,易于展开讨论。
另外,经过一段时间高中英语的学习,学生已经初步掌握了落度、跳读等一定的阅读技巧,能够分析读懂本课课文,但大部分灵活运用英语的能力较差,因而要加强此方面的训练。
只要因材施教,设置学生感兴趣的活动,就能让他们积极参与到课堂中来。
四、教学策略选择与设计本课主要采用任务型教学法,为用而学,在用中学,学了就用。
该方法以任务为中心,教师从学生“学”的角度设计教学活动,以学生为本,让学生带着任务区学习,在完成任务的过程中逐渐生成知识,形成技能。
本课将通过小组讨论和自主学习等活动,使学生在课堂活动中获取知识,从而获得语言运用的能力。
