（一）重点动词讲解

1. rank

vi. & vt. 属于某等级，将……归为某等级

He ranks among the best pupils of his grade.

他是他们年级最好的学生之一。

n. （尤指较高的）等级，级别

He is a physicist of the first rank.

他是一流的物理学家。

2. associate

vt. 联想，联系

Many people associate dark clouds with depression.

许多人把乌云与沮丧联系起来。

association n. 联合, 结合；协会, 社团

Our long association with your company has brought great benefits.

1. sheet
